it is in the very nature of the beast israel to stick its nose where it is not wanted, always totally regardless of human suffering.

God help us that anybody could speak in justification of this. A country already in turmoil with a regime that appears to be falling, so somebody pokes the stick in the hornet's nest. WTF? They have their own problems to sort out much less some other country blasting them. This is appalling. It's also shameful for the country that gave them the power to do this sort of crap for so many years. Where's the sense of humanity? Does somebody have to wonder now why terrorists fight against Israel and the US?

So does this give the Syrians the green light to conduct strikes on american arms transfers to Israel?weapons shipments to rebels from Libya in Turkey? where is the logic here? And if any any chemical weapons were struck are they going to turn around and blame the Syrian's for doing it? This is akin to a one on one fight with Israel jumping in occasionally for a cheap shot

Seriously why would Israel want to stick its nose where its not wanted.
And Syria of all places. They sure love to kick a man when he is down dont they.

Syria logistically poses several security concerns to Israel so it makes sense. To them it is strategically sound and reasonable. They have many human intelligence resources on the ground in the Middle East and have done this sort of thing many times when they felt there was a threat to there National security and interests based on there intelligence sources.

Don't you realize how devastating it would be to Israel if Hezbollah got a hold of those chemical weapons? Israel is a small country, those weapons could wipe out the entire population.

In reality, this is a violation of Lebanese and Syrian sovereignty by a country which throughout its history has proven its willingness to violate state sovereignty.

Well, they'd kill a bunch of Palestinians in doing so, so I doubt they would be so foolish. Or do you think chemical weapons magically only target Jews?

There are some parts of Israel where their are no Palestinians; that's where Hezbollah could strike with their newly acquired chemical weapons. Outside of the Gaza strip and the West Bank, you'll find mostly Jews.

Terrorism is a chicken chit way to fight a battle. The correct way is to form an army and confront your opponent face to face. The Israelis have never resorted to terrorism; they're too brave for that.edit on 4-5-2013 by USN1983 because: (no reason given)
