Why yes a perfect point to illustrate my own ,thank you.Viet Nam was because France dropped the ball and wanted to keep their colony,so the geniuses in Washington propped up a corrupt regime and it bit them in the posterior as well as cost us our guys.Inexcusable. The Gulf war 1 was a stabilizing effort before Saddam jumped Saudi Arabia,we just couldn't hit him without pretext so we told him we had no issues with his efforts in Kuwait and struck once we put on an appropriate dog and pony show.This is what is called a set up.
These acts in no way depict America or the wishes of her people.They have been working in secret as a result.What ever you see them doing in the light they are ,as we speak doing worse in the dark,Presidential administrations aren't trusted with the knowledge so we definitely will not be.
The second war?I don't have a clue, no logical pretext I could apply based on what I heard or what he was doing.That is why I gave up Republicans and now vote Independent.We should have finished it the 1st time,I sure as hell expected it with all the Iraqis who asked me if we were going to do it,like they wanted.I do have 2 questions,what exactly did we give him and exactly how much did he use.I had thought it was against NATO or the UN but as I previously noted they are not functional.

Lets not get silly... "we could fight the world" ... you know this isnt only about the amount of bullets... you kinda need a strong economy to wage a war alone - see germany as an example. And the US is nothing these days like Germany was just by the time of ww2.

And even equipment, technology and logistics wise... seriously, "we could fight the world" is just silly... I even find the scenario of "fighting only China alone" ridiculous... now the world ... no. Its silly. No nukes needed to take the US down btw.

They claim that every Tuesday and Thursday, on Mondays they usually threaten an invasion, and on Saturdays they threaten to destroy the USA in a fire storm. Something to that effect at least.

Yep, and nope, sanctions won't do anything more than bring everyone to the table, see how much aid money will make him shut up for a few more weeks, etc. It's sanctioned extortion, because China is his protector. Of course, even China is realizing this guy is bad for business.

Depends on the objectives. My guess is that this would be a lot like the Iraqi war, except for maybe getting the Chinese blessing as long as they were the ones who got to go in and mop up with the policing force, etc.

Too bad you feel that way our "leaders" are pushing this that in a big way.They want to take the US down MILITARILY in a very public way.
We can destroy the world in very effective ways besides currently known WMDs,don't kid yourself the "Dr Strangeloves" didn't stop at nukes pal.

It's pretty scary, right? You never know what they could do, they're primitive and barbarian nation capable of everything. I don't even know why they were allowed to develop nuclear weapons, it's horrible. It seems there isn't any other solution to achieve peace with N. Korea but full scale war and that will happen sooner or later, possibly sooner than we think.

A dog will bark, it is the unsuspected bite that gets you, reminds me of a death and blind man , cant see the sign nor hear the bark but gets bit, and writes its not his fault, its the owners, for letting the dog out in the yard. DPRK has been in the yard when China should have kept the leash on.

I wonder if some people are denouncing this and saying " oh they will never do anything", " nothing to see here they know better", ECT. because they secretly hope something will happen so they are tempting fate. I know it sounds crazy but I know people who say, Oh that storm will be tiny, dont worry about a thing, but secretly hope for a huricane and are happy when it hits just for the chaos. They are tempting fate but if nothing happens they can be all " see i told you nothing would happen" and are bummed nothing happened.

What she said..... no i jest , doom porn is what you refer to i think.. I think people who have these opinions are generally unhappy in there situations and are looking for change\chance\excitement or opportunity ( which allot of the young are these days) . In this case i would not call this doom porn; to think nothing will happen or to comment on this thread as imho this just got real , i hope that it will resolve itself peacefullt and think that this is the most likely outcome, but when nuculer war is not that unlikely and a countries rulers are seen on there own national telly talking about it casually as the next course of action people need to stand up and listen we have been at the brink of this so many times before ( everything2.com... ) over much less than the situations and statements that have come too pass recently. Seoul will be destroyed in any war with the north no to mention japan smash open a couple of there reactors...(if im going down ill take you with me attitude), that would be a tragedy of epic proportions and imo would facilitate the collapse of America as global power ( now thats doom porn ).

to ask for the dog to be put down....

I would like to say that Each and Every Child born every second on this planet will see a world of smoldering buildings and poverty and rife food and drinking water all because some high powered big headed dictators want to pave the way to a war.

I would like to say to each and everyone of them to use some F"cking common sense for a change and start building on friendly relations rather than a breed of war mongering idiots.

I had never heard that word "doom porn". thats the perfect discription for what i was trying to say. I think we should take this seriously. How many of our "allies" or countries that don’t like us would jump at the chance to get a punch in. Like someone starts a fight then other people jump in to punch the person. I see North Korea throwing the first punch and other nations jumping in to sucker punch us.

Technically speaking a state of WAR has existed between the US and North Korea that China used as a proxy war agianst the US.for over 6 decades.

That video on youtube, threatening a preemptive nuclear strike is not a smart move on NK's part hell look at the last decade to see people with inflated egos and lied about being the baddest kid on the block got his country invaded.

Not if there is a sign that states: Stay off lawn, do not go in yard, beware of dog he bites. but the dog should be kept on leash just the same, and China failed to do that US did not see the sign, and SK keeps it from leaving.
