I understand your point. And let me state this again. I don't support the wars as the line between right and wrong are scewed like a child drawing with crayons for the first time.

Now, our Military in America is here to defend liberty and justice both foreign and domestic. No matter if they are used by corrupted politicians for whatever gains, they are here to defend this country. (so you can keep your freedoms or what little we have left)

So stating that this man did not defend my freedoms? Well that's blatently wrong and I can debate this all day, as he defended everyone's freedom in America by making it one shot one kill on High Threat targets. Enjoy your big mac's and video games, they would not be possible without our High Trained Military that give there lives (Whether right or wrong entering a war) so you can enjoy those freedoms.

Now if your not an American you can slander him all you want as more than likely your nation(s) were prolly in his crosshairs, and I would be a salty dog too~

Please read it slowly so you can absorb what I'm saying as I've re-itterated this several times and several different ways.

Symantics will not turn this man into a Devil for Americans. A hero yes, as it should be. Anyway you want to chat this out that point isn't being changed.

Team America~

I just looked at the threads you started and nothing about Drones. Just left wing rants about Israel.

My point is, it's just pure liberal hypocrisy to talk about this guy as the devil. What about Obama? His drones kill innocent 5 and 6 year olds. So it's okay for Obama to drop bombs with drones and kill innocent children but it's not okay to for this guy to take out his target as a Sniper?

I'd rather have a sniper taking out his target than a drone killing innocent children.

Good God what is with the black and white mentality?

A sniper killing an innocent person is wrong. A drone operator killing an innocent person is wrong. A Major sending out snipers to kill innocent people is wrong. A president sending out drones to kill innocent people is wrong.

Is there a trend happening here?

Both Chris Kyle and Obama are horrible people and the idolization of either one is a horrible thing. They both justified their own murder. I don't hate Chris Kyle though, I feel sorry for him, as he was literally programmed since childhood to become what he became. Obama though, he probably knows a lot better.

Just a question., is it because he was a military professional or because he is in the American military? I'm trying to see what possible relevant point your trying to get at

Neither. I have no problem with the military (any military) in principle. I take issue with a war that I see as phoney and celebrating a man that killed a huge amount of people in said war.

So the problem is the war. I agree with this. I agree that most of his targets were prolly direct orders from the corrupt elite that are destroying this country. You agree with the having a military in principle but don't condone the killing? That's an oxymoron at best. You want them to hunt chickens? Sorry that was OT~ I'm not celebrating a a man that did his job better than majority. I'm giving him the respect he deserves as in the back of his mind (Speculative) he was defending his nation against foreign threats to our sovergn nation.

Ok, I can see your point. When you say he killed people, your saying he killed non-combatants or a mixture of non-combatants and combatants, yes ?

Who are you to say a Sniper killed innocent people?

Do you know what a Sniper does? He kills his target that the Government ordered him to kill. As far as the Sniper knows he's killing the enemy of America. He's killing a terrorist.

With Drone strikes, an innocent child is being killed when the Drone strike targets a terrorist and then kills a bunch of innocent people near the drone strike.

If you know an innocent person this sniper killed then name them.

What the hell have drones got to do with anything?

I never even mentioned drones.
I disagree with drones killing in Afghanistan or Iraq and with snipers.

And what has left or right-wing got to do with this thread?
I am not left wing! Just because I worry about what happens in Israel and Palestine and do not agree with the wars in Afghanistan or Iraq does not make me left or right wing.

If you read through my threads you would have seen that I am against both sides using violence in Israel and Palestine but at that time there was a huge amount of killing of families on one particular side after years of tit for tat killing from both sides and I found it alarming........ not that it has ANYTHING to do with this thread!

Hmm, how about all of them? As he was part of an invading force in an illegally undeclared war firing on unenlisted people?

No, please re-read what I said. I said I don't agree with this war in particular. I don't disagree with an the military defending its territory. Of course whether a war is right or not is subjective but I certainly wouldn't shout out an oxymoron such as- I agree with having a military but not having them kill anybody.

Drones have everything to do with it. Did you read the title of the thread?

It's about the guy being a devil because he was a sniper. That's just silly, unless Obama is also a Devil because his drone strikes kill innocent children.

Yea big hero with a big ass sniper rifle, where the enemy doesn't see the guy who shots him. It's like slaughtering some animal, the first time may be hard, but it becomes routine and normal after a while, it doesn't mean anything after a while anymore, just a number.

These days in wars soldiers hardly have any eye contact with the guys they murder.

Imagine a north korean soldier being showed off as a hero for killing 150 or more americans in a similar fashion.

I guess it's the same with how nude is forbidden in the US on television but the US got the biggest porn business?

Everything is so upside down, it's hard to see for people what's good or not these days I suppose.

As I have already stated I am hugely against celebrating this man and hugely against Obama using drones and killing innocent children. Still drones have nothing to do with my opinion on the sniper in question nor did they have anything to do with the OP.

Of course they do.

If you're going to call the guy a Devil who just did his job as a Sniper, then you have to say Obama is a bigger Devil because he kills innocent children with Drone strikes. If you think Obama is a devil also, then that's just being consistent.

=P cool mate, you had me perplexed for a minute. Both of us are in agreement about defending our territory/nation. I do condone this war that has been dragged out longer than any other before it. But i'm not in a seat of power to state whether this war is right or wrong only civillian disclosure on the facts of why they say we are there (Then I make my own conclusion)

I do condone snipers however. Our snipers are told what they are needed know and nothing more. Through there scope they see a target that has been issued. I'd blame the Elites controlling the sniper more than the sniper himself as he entered the military to perform his civic duty the best way he can. Snipers are tools of war nothing more. I understand it takes a cold person to confirm 160 direct hits but this was his job. That's a man i'm glad I was on his side.

And if he was nuts? Better to have him behind enemy lines defending us than in a 9-5 job and hearing about another civillian snapping off and taking the office with him. Just my opinion =p

@Thread you are all right Killing is Killing and is wrong, but we wouldn't be here if the US Military sucked at there job or have what little freedoms we have left.

I've spoken to many a many soldiers who are back home now that feel the same way and dispise the reason they went over there, that being stated they are all for protecting there nation just not being polly's for a greedy mans game.

Who also shouldn't be there.

Don't enlist unless you want to be a foreigner-killing mercenary.

If you did enlist, allow yourself to be imprisoned and wait for your dishonorable discharge. Oddly enough, it's the honorable thing to do.

Stop fighting an illegal war for the military-industrial complex because they've brainwashed you to be an Honorable White Knight. What good are those concepts if the reality is you are a Marauding Black Knight?

This isn't just for Americans. This goes to all soldiers. When the time comes to defend your nation from invaders, by all means then heed the call. Standing armies exist only to flex muscle and for extortion. You can work out and target shoot and be a community watch person, all without selling your soul away.

War is a real life horror story. Soldiers from every country fight and kill so others can sit back at home and try to justify the madness of it all.

It is easy to sit back on your couch and judge actions without being there. It is cowardly in a way. And by the way this is not murder. He was a soldier doing a job for his country. He was very good at the job asked of him. He deserves all the medals and praise.

I appreciate your replies, opinions and ideology. I posted this in the Psychology/Physiology etc forum as opposed to a Political one simply for the fact that I'd like to discuss it from a non-polarized viewpoint so please try to think for yourself on this one.

Thanks

You understand America learned how to fight like this from the Native American Indian's themselves when we colonized America right? History gotta love it~

Fighting smart and taking out your target doesn't make you any less of a soldier than one that runs into a bulding full of nutjobs and clearing house. Ye who lives to fight another day~
