Anderson Cooper,

There are people of ALL walks of life and belief systems that are questioning the credibility of what happened in Sandy Hook. There are many people who are not conspiracy theorists who are talking about the inconsistencies of the story, one of them being my 94 year old grandfather. In his words "If it smells like bs, then it probably IS bs".

Attack all you want to, take a look around and you'll find average citizens every where online, talking about it, questioning it... and from some of the areas of the internet I have been reading, it has been highly interesting to me to see people waking up and opening their eyes.

You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool them all, all of the time.

Sincerely,

Thunder heart woman

Thank you for saying what I didn't for fear of breaking the new rules, I walk on eggshells with this topic. That comment was super strange though, I thought.
Your welcome
Whether one believes or not you have to admit that was a pretty strange way for a mother to answer
and thats why people are suspicious of this event.

In my opiniom the revolution has already started

Stuck out to me as well. Not only is this entire town amazingly well adjusted with grief coping, they're able to instantly go into structured political mode. But now we all have to watch what we say because the thought police want us to be penalized for thinking what we want to.

While this Florida professor is as gullible as a lot of ATSers who buy any conspiracy floated past them, Cooper is basically using his ignorance to flog all conspiracy sites.

To be truthful a very large majority of FANATIC conspiracy theorist have some sort of mental illness, period. Take note of the word fanatic. I have seen a very large number of fanatic conspiracy theorist here on ATS and on other sites that have very far out and dangerous ideas of the world. When people start to act like experiments and say that current medical treatments of cancer kills people and that the cancer patients should use homeopathic means... well, obviously that does not work. Yet, fanatics will continue to push things similar to the former. Anderson Cooper does have a point, but he is not going after the moderates (the sane ones), he is attacking the likes of Alex Jones, Mike Adams, David Icke, and many others. He has a point... Have you seen Alex Jones lately? CRAZIER then BEFORE. Mike Adams delivering false information on his website that threatens the lives of millions, because he thinks he is an experiment in medicine. David Icke and his crazy theories on reptilians and other non-sense. I see his point.

Yeah d00d, the government would NEVER lie to us, or cover something up...

Surely you can't be that naive? Naive to history, anyway...

You know I think you hit the nail on the head with this statement. I wonder if there is a way to verify this. If I had to lay money on it I would be betting that you are right.

Some of the statements and theories are nowhere near the realm of being sane. I applaud you for coming right out and saying it. I am not saying all are mentally ill but I believe it is just as you stated the majority of the fanatics must be.

We must demand more proof that is currently available and if they wont show it to us, then it begs the hard question of why not? What is the govt trying to hide by not showing us the school surveillance tapes that either proves the official story or disproves it? Show us real evidence or expect more questions and or more conspiracy theories

I'm of the belief that most evidence is currently unavailable to not only the public, but even the media. I don't know how you feel about this personally.. but after so much time passes I would be skeptic even if they do release video evidence, knowing what we know about the editing in the JFK tapes, with-held video evidence doesn't make me an instant believer anymore. I suppose that I'm at the point now where I'm thinking anything will be too little too late at this point. Entirely too much time has passed for many not to wonder about the hold-up in info.

BTW~ Very good post

Go ahead and provide empirical data to support your claim. Perhaps it was you who performed the research... in which case, please provide your research design so that it may be transmissibe to all on ATS. However, I have a feeling you're simply using a poorly constructed and weak qualitative anaylsis using a high degree of subjective bias. You should remember that your notion of what is "fanatic" stems from what you view as reality, which is socially constructed in and of itself.

ac360.blogs.cnn.com...

This is too funny, CNN's trying to make fun of conspiracies and their "article" is three sentences, the image is just a picture and no video link, and the comments are disabled

To be fair, s/he did use the word Fanatic, which in itself can be seen as a form of mental illness.

I took the time to read what everyone has to say and I'm glad everyone is keeping it pretty civil.

I believe the events at Sandy Hook were premeditated and planned out for nefarious reasons that are leaning towards the disarming of America.

I don't have proof but I have common sense and that's the next best thing.

Anderson Cooper did not help because he's most likely a high level PSYOP Agent. I've seen pictures from Iraq and other places where PSYOP corps are dropping off giant truckloads of prefabricated newspapers and dropping leaflets from the sky.

Mind Control is the real debate here if you think about. They created a perfect storm because if you ask to see the deceased corpse of a child you're a sicko. That's the game the media is gonna play now.

For me, I LOVE to find as many eye witness reports and timestamps of what reporters attach to peoples stories as I can and then take note of how many times a reporter has said "An Official source says that..." and then look for huge inaccuracies.

Most of these theories are ridiculous, but people want to, and have the right to know. Knowledge is power, don't let anyone take that power or ridicule your thoughts.

I do not know how long investigations normally take when dealing with mass murders and I can’t even recall a case in recent history to compare it to. I can say that in recent cases where they have tried to recover data from damaged hard drives that some cases took months I do not know if that is because of the recovery process or if it because they were analyzing the actual data recovered but just with that issue alone the cases took what seemed a very long time. I think shows like CSI and the likes have given people a false perspective on how investigations are really handled.

I know I have seen one member on here state that because they watch CSI that this case is being mishandled. Don’t get me wrong I am in no way accusing you of being as ignorant as that person and I am not trying to lump you in with the likes of people like that person. All I am saying is that I think we as a community are placing expectations on this case from a limited knowledge of how these things are suposed to be handled. I do not know a great deal of how these things work but I do know that it isn’t like it is shown on TV. When I read that statement from the poster about how they do it different on CSI I was taken back quite a bit because that had to be one of the dumbest things I have ever read. Those shows are fiction and even the technology they use is mostly fiction.

Anyway I am not disappointed with how long it is taking them I am sure it is there highest priority but the world keeps turning and it can’t be the only case they are working on. I worked with CID in the military on a case they had and as simple as it was it took over a month to go through it. I didn’t have a MOS directly involved with CID but the case they we working required someone with my qualifications to help with. Believe me the TV is 99% BS and not even 1% fact.

Yes I got that PM as did everyone else (Thanks for mini-modding).
As long as there is an apparent lack of evidence to support this having happened, I will continue to point out this simple fact. Others will too.

While the Media and Government milks this story politically for all its worth day after day, I don't think asking a few questions is insensitive...

Because what I believe may have happened differs from what Lt. Vance said happened, you may be offended.
Just know that is not my intention... In varying ways, we are ALL victims of Sandy Hook.

Here is a perfect example of a conflicting news:

HARTFORD, Conn.  — The body of the man who massacred 26 people at a Connecticut elementary school was claimed by his father, a family spokesman said Monday, but the public may never know what happened with the remains.

Source

While still in the possession of the medical examiner, Lanza's body may have been the subject of interest beyond medical reasons. An employee was accused of showing the body to her husband, who is not a state employee, just days after the shooting.

That's garbage. He is just pushing for this teacher to lose his job and why? Just because the teacher considered and alternative narrative? I guess they are hoping he loses his position so they can put in a different professor that teahes students to believe everything they are told and never suspect or consider anything else. As long as he is not teaching it as fact then what is the problem? I think part of the problem in this country has been dumbing down them masses so they don't think for themselves.

I am not saying that I believe there is a conspiracy in this case, but why is questioning and calling for a more transparent investigation such a bad thing exactly?

Also, I like that this idiot Cooper says something to the effect of "it's interesting that he teaches in media and refused to speak to the media." What they hell is that supposed to imply? That the fact he didn't want to talk to the media directly shows that he is no credible or shady or something? It makes no sense and outs Anderson as a moron. What's sad is that people will hear that and not even think about it they will just think "ahh Cooper's got him there." The prepared statement the professor gave was very articulate and said everything he needed to say, it was much better than getting put on the spot and he got his message across, and his warning that the media has taken him out of context.

Just more MSM garbage.

You're not powerless

Correct.

and you don't have to deny reality either

Correct again, so why do you deny the reality that innocent children were murdered by a madman?

just make sure your 'reality' isn't being shown to you on a projector screen by a little man sitting behind a curtain

Such as Sorcha Faal, perhaps?

Jesus himself wanted us to watch for 'wickedness in high places' we are told the 'unseen' powers that forever seek the enslavement

Indeed, there is a dark side to human nature... but it is still HUMAN nature. Power corrupts etc, there's no doubt about that but there's no need to make the boogey man bigger than he is. Personally, I think if Jesus were here in the flesh today he'd smack a good lot of people who use His name and His words in such twisted ways, right upside the head followed by a "you never knew me". Are you sure you know which master you serve?

I don't see how that is conflicting.. it says "while still in possession of the medical examiner" so it was before it was claimed. I don't see anything that describes conflicting timelines.

I should have noted that the first source is from 12/31/2012 saying the body was claimed and will be buried in a secret location and the second source is an update posted 1/11/2013 that says the body is still in the hands of the medical examiner. I just thought it was odd.

I found this posted on another conspiracy forum from someone who says they are a parent of a child at Sandy Hook:

"...sadly this is not a conspiracy or a hoax. I know because I live in Sandy Hook and my son was in the school at the time of the shooting. It hurts me deeply that people feel this is a hoax, but everyone has the right to believe what they will. I have some friends here who wish that this was a hoax and that they had even another minute with their child. I have spoken with my son and several other people who were actually in the building. Other parents have also heard the stories from their children and they are lining up with the core facts of the incident. The reason you do not see 600 kids being evacuated in the picture is because the police cleared each area room by room before escorting kids out. It is possible that the picture was taken later as kids were recovered from their hiding places. Also the reason you do not see a mass rush of ambulances to deal with the wounded is because there were only 3-4 that were wounded. Two were children that would not survive and two were adults that did. Everyone else was DOA when the officers arrived. Each victim suffering from 3-11 gunshot wounds per the M.E.. I for one do not believe that Gun control will prevent this in the future. So I have no agenda to push....just tears that keep falling for the bodies of young kids. What is our world coming to...."
