Im not really worried about how dodgy it looks I just wanted the size to fit.

I used the 170 X 240 requirement for the Christmas Avatar contest rules.

I always make my background images 200x450 pixels. I think the ideal size is somewhere around 200x435 or something but 450 is easier to remember and not much usually gets cut off.

For regular avatar size, I use 180x240 pixels. That works for pics that get too stretched out to be backgrounds and animated avatars since we aren't allowed to use animated backgrounds.

Your background picture is ok but you need to change avatar picture to transparent blank picture like this one
files.abovetopsecret.com... ( leave that background as it is but save this picture and upload it to your ats gallery and set it as a avatar picture )

at the moment you have two pictures there which a bit arguing with each other

OK got the double image bit sorted

Could someone adjust the size so it fits the whole thing and get rid of that double up on the right side and can I get the "deny ignorance" bit crossed out and have "merry xmas" written in crude handwriting?

Im gonna have a play and see if I can manage but I dont like my chances LOL
I cant get the image to resize properly on paint, it will let me adjust either height or width but when I do it automatically adjusts the other???

I am waiting for a new avatar to celebrate the fact that I am working on my third book. The one I have now is for my second book which is out in about two weeks. Thought I would wait and put a hat on the new one.

Can anyone help me so that my avatar isn't repeating/overlapping at the sides? It's very annoying.
