It all ways runs about 6 or 7 percent of americans think moon landings were hoaxed. But then again i can get 7 percent of people to believe in unicorns so all and all not many.

We all ready did but doesnt seem to change peoples mind. Funny thing about conspiracies is any evidence can be dismissed by saying well they facked that. So no proof can ever be given short of flying them to the moon and i dont think thats going to happen. So is it really worth spending money to prove it when it a few are so jaded that theyll just find a way to dismiss it? Look at this thread there is overwhelming evidence that we went to the moon yet people still argue we haven't. So obviously facts mean nothing to people luckily they are a small percentage or we would all be in trouble.

So instead of putting money into a new manned system, our a new probe for some of the more interesting moons in the solar system, we should spend hundreds of millions that we don't have, to take pictures that won't prove anything, because a tiny fraction of the population doesn't believe in it?

The Federal reserve does not print money willy-nilly. Every time they print additional money and add it to the economy (such as by spending billions to appease moon-hoax people) it makes the money that was already in the economy less valuable, which could lead to inflation.

That's why the printing of additional money is tightly controlled and planned out -- i.e., to curb inflation.

honestly.. what will this prove??

people believe curiosity is fake.. if NASA decided to do this and provided HD footage of the lunar landing sites, i will guarantee that not a single HB will believe it.

they will all continue to claim that the live HD footage is fake and the saga continues, this will prove nothing the only that can probably convince them is to fly them there themselves.. but i bet some will say they were brainwashed by the CIA into seeing it with their own eyes or something.

an example..

the LRO which beamed back the highest resolution images of the lunar landing sites ever has been completely dismissed by the HB community as fake.

rovers beaming back HD images of the same sites will change nothing.

Why should we bend over backwards to try to satisfy a small group of people, most of which wouldn't believe Apollo was real if they stood on the moon looking at a lander and tracks?

should be easy enough with funding.. but they need a good reason to do so..

will taking pictures of the lunar landing sites be a good enough reason to spend several million dollars?? ask yourself if you are willing to pay for that? the scientific community knows that NASA landed on the moon so they do not need further proof..

its just the HB.. so NASA should spend several million dollars purely for HB?? not to mention that HB wont even believe the images/video are real, most likely photoshopped or something..

keep in mind rovers can only traverse maybe 100miles in its lifespan.. the moon is much much much larger than 100 miles..
