Romney could ask, beg, plead, etc, and it would only work if the people that currently owned Bain felt inclined to listen.

Romney has no legal rights to any decision making at Bain, and Bain has no legal obligation to listen to Romney.

Good work bringing this to the fore. The last thing we need at this stage is for Bush Jr. 2.0 on steroids to take the helm back, along with all the accompanying crazies like Condi Rice and gang, AND, a heap of Big Business crony-capitalists for good measure.

Maybe while there's still some semblance of the old America left, it might be possible for the nation to make a comback reminicent of the 90's and Clinton-era policies..

So...basically the election comes down to a guy who will do whatever it takes to make a buck and a guy who will lie straight to the American people's faces as well as shift blame for a terrorist attack. A guy who stands by his moral beliefs or a guy who is ALREADY oppressing the American people. A guy who, yes I can admit it, doesn't seem to have a solid stance on anything or a guy who says he has a solid stance and plan, but we never see this plan in action. A guy who could possibly do something better or a guy who hasn't done a damn thing in the last four years.

And this is a stretch. It's been explained that Romney's involvement with Bain is extremely limited. Putting all the blame for what Bain is doing on Romney is like putting all the blame for what my dog does on Obama.

I thank the Lord God that he didn't win the 2nd debate and continue to gather momentum. From what I can tell he's Bush Jr. 2.0 on steroids jacked up with crony-capitalism to the 9's.

I think America should just go for Romney because the country obviously needs another 4 years with a rich new non-caring leader hungry for war. I watched yesterdays debate just to learn from how they manipulate and it is shocking to see serious faces in that audience like they believe in either of the two. I also had a good laugh reading this thread as a few ATS members use yesterdays debate to prove the other side is wrong when both of them were incredibly fake and taking turns doing a sales pitch.

Mitt Romney is the poster child of everything that is wrong with the American economy. We let vulture capitalists like Romney and Bain put profit ahead of all else - and we end up with all our technology and industry headquartered in China under the direct control of their communist party.

Something touched on only briefly in this thread is the fact that in order for technology companies to set up shop in China, they must turn over all their technological innovations to the Chinese government. We have a big enough problem with Chinese industrial espionage, without having greedy bastards like Romney selling American companies out to China.

This is the biggest problem and threat facing the economy. Everything else is a distant second.
