Since the two accounts don't coincide, it sounds as if we have two choices. Either doubt the photo, or doubt the witness's memory.

Unless there is some obvious manipulation of the photo, I tend to go with that as the more accurate indicator of whether or not there was anybody there. It's the more objective source of information. It doesn't seem to be a trick of light, shadow and perspective. It appears to be a person.

As for witness testimony, I suspect that on Christmas day there were possibly more people visiting, dropping by, delivering things, whatever, than might be remembered off hand. And memory is a fluid thing, certainly proven not always to be accurate. It's the weakest link in the story.

That being the case, in spite of testimony to the contrary, I assume that the figure in the photo was a real person who was later forgotten to be there. With no additional information available, I'm willing to let it rest at that.

To each his own opinion, and I can't really do or say much more, but you should take thought that when this photo was brought to our attention, it was only around a month later, that's not really enough time to forget a man or whatever being in the middle of the living room. I appreciate your contribution.

I'm betting you have not read the entire thread.

And if you are going to post such dribble, at least have some thoughts as to why you are criticizing all of us who have been following, and doing research on this thread.

The blurring effect on the man does not make sense as to the rest of the photo. The nephew was playing, and had no blur. The dog is running, and you can see his paws are not blurred, yet the man seems to be.

Hope your physical therapy went well, and you try to enjoy your vacation. School will be here fast enough, so don't mind these debunkers that have not bothered to read the entire thread.

Have fun in Florida.

If your were honest and truthful ..you would NOT have a bias either for or against any sort of opinion voiced here, either FOR the ghost hypothesis or AGAINST it.

You would simply have posted the video, asked for input, and give both sides consideration and thought.

But, as other, similar minded people, you DO NOT.

Because you call all people who do not immediately buy into your ghost story "DEBUNKERS", urging them to re-read whatever you said (Because, according to you, they cannot be right and their arguments must be wrong or they missing some "important facts") - and on the other hand you welcome every response which agrees with the unnatural explanation, as unsubstantiated it may be. Strange, isn't it?

And by the way, your constant repeating you didn't know the man and you don't remember/know the person does NOT make it a ghost - we already established that the picture itself clearly shows a person..so all we have to go on is your repeated saying that it must be ghost, but not based on any evidence, but only because you say you do not know that man.

Unfortunately, YOU are the one that can help find stuff out at this point.

I really think you need to explain to your mom that you have a very amazing thread going on the top conspiracy site in the world, and get her to post. That will be the only way we get to "the next step".

Start convincing her.

Op has a bias? Really? Because all he has done is ask questions, and sided with all that make valid points.

The fact he stands by his photo, and didn't ditch the thread (like 99% of hoaxers do when the heat is on), makes me stand by him. But I see no bias in the OP. he is simply standing by his belief.

Have you noticed that ive told even the skeptics repeatedly that i appreciate them posting? Ive said it atleast a dozen times. And i said debunkers because when someone makes it there sole goal to prove you wrong i consider them to be attempting to debunk something. I am repeating my case because i am getting asked the same questions

ATS has access to many photo specialists....either members, or connections to them.

I'm hoping someone associated with this website can take your photo and have it analyzed since it seems to be, if true which I believe it to be, the best ghost photo ever captured on film.

I'm hoping a mod, or the site owners can take this and run with it. Maybe put you on ATS live to talk about it too.

I think the explanation is quite simple. The man was there. But, you all forgot you saw him. He made himself invisible to your mind, by hypnotic suggestion. So, you can't remember him. But, the camera doesn't forget.
