Both he and Morgan made me sad that state run psychiatric institutions are no longer in existence because they both belong in one...

Yes there are lots of bad guys out there. We all know that.

This thread is not about them.

My whole argument has been directed towards AJ's honesty. In my opinion a person of AJ's stature, with his worldwide listener-ship, has, at the very least, a responsibility to be as honest as he can. It's my personal opinion that he falls short of the mark. How short and to what consequence is a matter of opinion that, evidently here, varies greatly amongst ATS members. That's what we are discussing here.

I've been on here in the past partaking in similar discussions, and always the same argument arises, people say "look at all the bad guys out there, and you are picking on Alex", this is totally missing the point. Integrity and honesty are paramount when it comes to reportage, There are people out there who meet these criteria, there are people who don't, it's that simple in my opinion.

Respect.

edit: I know the title of the thread is "is Alex Jones a CIA agent" and I admit taking a line that strays from the actual premise of the OP, however it is my contention that honesty and integrity are bound to this question.

His show, and like any other radio talk show or prime time programming on cable news channels are not considered to be news programs but are classified as opinion /information programs. This means that the words they say do not have to be accurate /factual and when they are wrong they do not have to give an on air correction.

Agreed.

Alex is a self proclaimed "investigative journalist".

It is just my opinion that he has a responsibility to his audience.

He has the ears and minds of a lot of people, and as he often says himself these are "100% facts" he is relating.

The same could be said for: Nancy Grace, Bill O, Hannity, Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews, Al Sharpton, Piers Morgan, Rush and countless others.

The problem is that so many mouth-breathers watch or listen to such programs and believe that what they are hearing is news/factual whereas the executives at all of those networks would universally tell you that those programs are part of their opinion/entertainment programming.

Anyone selling 911 "planes" or in other words tha aluminium can cut through steel is working for the part of the CIA Web of Disinformation (1).

"Dr RON PAUL" = ALECIA JONES = "ASSANGE" = Anonymous Occupy leaders = CIA operatives.

WIKILEAKS was set up by the CIA.
"Julien Assange" and "Dr Ron Paul" are fake identities.

All LEAKS reported by illuminati media (2) are intentionally STAGED to advance illuminati agendas (3).

Doubtful at best.

I have read all kinds of theories about Alex Jones. I think that most likely Alex is a guy who worked his butt off and build a success indie news agency. Yeah, he is a man who is larger than life but I doubt the government really worries about him at all. He does not hit the root of the beast too often and he is not taking up armed struggle. I doubt he is a CIA agent but he is a harsh businessman.

Whether or not hes a CIA agent is irrelevant. The reality is he is "controlled opposition", and I don't even think that he realizes this.

William Cooper (behold the pale horse author) thought Alex Jones was a plant. Good enough for me.

I know this is a touchy subject, and there will always be people who say its not about one particular group of people, but AJ's reluctance to highlight Zionism as being the biggest contributor to the simultaneous corporate and socialist globalisation rings alarm bells in my mind.

I'm also aware that for every great nugget of truth you get there is also a huge ton of exaggeration and hot-air, and I wouldn't necessarily call it dis-info, its just making everything into the big-bad-wolf.

That and he is constantly trying to sell # products to gullible people. The guy moans about artificial chemicals in foods, poisonous food packets and GMO and then tries to sell 'Tangy Tangerine' to his listeners. And the guests he gets on 99% of the time have just had a record out or a book to sell, I just find it quite frustrating that one of the only alternate news outlets there is is also highly unreliable.

AJ has got a lot right on his show on a long-term basis, but how many times have we heard that the world is about to explode within a fortnight, only for the goal posts to be moved another few weeks into the future?

And David Icke is just as bad, if not worse. How many books can you possibly sell.

Calling Alex Jones and infowars a indie news agency is a slap in the face to all who take journalism and indie news seriously but I agree with the rest. His whole point is use fear to get subscriptions and sell dvd's. Nothing more.

Maybe his job is to keep it peaceful....keep the more intelligent folks that WANT deeper information neutralized. Segregated. Isolated.

Excellent post! AJ sole task is to keep people on the basic level, prevent them from accessing the next stage where everything falls apart. He creates more needed noise than all of the disinfo on the internet combined. In that respect he is a genius and well worth his money. Now imagine 10 or 20 characters just like him, with that much influence. There is none. All failed to keep up with him. The man is a messiah of our times, one that matters. A new JHS perhaps.

I think AJ is overall positive,... he has a good variety of well-informed people that he brings on regularly, and some of them are becoming more influential everyday...when
David Icke comes on,... he pushes the Zionism angle pretty hard and AJ cleverly deflects the implication most of the time...

I do think he could be more honest about the role Israel and Zionism plays in the overall scheme...
