Sounds like a America , get them in the system young and keep them there. By the way what is this Brit team basing their findings on , interviews with alleged prisoners , their parents or officials . We all know that each side has an agenda , but if the so called Palestinians really loved their children they would not indoctrinate them to hate Jews and non Arabs , telling them to blow themselves up for Allah will. Get them 72 lolly pops in heaven .

The videos I have seen come out of these areas in question showing children practicing with weapons , suicide vests . Cartoons and kids shows teaching them to hate and kill Jews. What a load of bull the British government pretends to care about the well being of these children . Hypocrites with an agenda using the children as pawns ,just as the Hamas , Hezbollah and Arab governments do. They all have an agenda against Israel and let these people suffer to further it . If you people can not see this then you are using the children too for your agenda.

Their shocking report Children in Military Custody details claims that youngsters are dragged from their beds in the middle of the night, have their wrists bound behind their backs, and are blindfolded and made to kneel or lie face down in military vehicles.

The team – led by Sir Stephen Sedley, a former Court of Appeal judge – heard that "every Palestinian child is treated like a potential terrorist".

"We were sitting in court and saw a section of a preliminary hearing when a very young looking child, a boy, was brought in wearing a brown uniform with leg irons on.

Are they a flight risk? Have they tried to run away while being transferred between detention and court? The use of leg irons is legal under the UN when used appropriately.

"To hold children routinely and for substantial periods in solitary confinement would, if it occurred, be capable of amounting to torture," the report said.

As opposed to placing children into general population with adults? Or placing them into cells with older kids / bullies / etc?

While the legal team said it was in no position to prove the truth of the claims of cruelty made repeatedly by Palestinian children, but denied by the Israeli authorities – which offered unprecedented access to the delegation – it pointed to the disparity in the law.

Last night, Israeli Embassy spokesperson Amir Ofek said the country appreciated the efforts of the delegation but blamed Palestinians who "glorify terrorism". He said: "As a result [children] are frequently involved in lethal acts. With the Palestinian Authority unable or unwilling to meet its obligation to investigate and prosecute these offences, Israel has no choice but to do so itself.

We are not getting the entire story... EU member states, when it comes to law enforcement and criminal justice systems, is known to substitute EU standards for UN standards. As an example placing an adult into handcuffs behind their backs is apparently classified as torture as well.

My point is before we break out the torches and pitchforks how about we get more info and actually investigate the "claims" to confirm / debunk before acting.

The answer is no. Of course not. is your hatred of Muslims that strong that you can not see the difference between right and wrong. Should Palestinians be able to go into Israel and arrest Israeli children posing with weapons or with plans to join the IDF. Those Israeli kids could grow up to be fighter pilots or drone operators with access to the worlds most deadly military technologies. They could go on to use these technologies against defenseless palestinians.

Palestine does not have an army, air force or navy for it's young to join. Thats the point, they have no Defense Force.

Yet Israel, receives billion from the united states so it can have one of the most powerful defense forces in the world.

Incorrect. Hamas has a military wing.

Since June 2007 Hamas has governed the Gaza portion of the Palestinian Territories. Hamas has a significant terrorist military wing.

While the number of members is known only to the Brigades leadership, Israel estimates the Brigades have a core of several hundred members who receive military style training, including training in Iran and Syria.
