UK ready to take on Israel over fate of children clapped in irons

The Foreign Office revealed last night that it would be challenging the Israelis over their treatment of Palestinian children after a report by a delegation of senior British lawyers revealed unconscionable practices, such as hooding and the use of leg irons.

In the first investigation of its kind, a team of nine senior legal figures examined how Palestinians as young as 12 were treated when arrested. Their shocking report Children in Military Custody details claims that youngsters are dragged from their beds in the middle of the night, have their wrists bound behind their backs, and are blindfolded and made to kneel or lie face down in military vehicles.

Children from the West Bank are held in conditions that could amount to torture, such as solitary confinement, with little or no access to their parents. They can be forced to stay awake before being verbally as well as physically abused and coerced into signing confessions they cannot read.

The Israelis seem to be engaged in a deliberate campaign to process as many Palestinian children as possible through this system of terror. Children as young a six years old are raided by Swat like Israeli soldiers in the middle of the night. They put the kids in shackles and hoods over their heads as a procedural routine.

The Israelis have moved on from warring with unarmed Palestinian civilian adults and are now targeting children. The cruelty seems to have a scientific aspect to it. It is well known that when children are traumatised at a young age it induces psychiatric conditions, reduces intelligence and renders them as neurotic or psychotic adults when they grow up. Terrorising a child in a sustained manner over days only once in their lives is the same as adults surviving torture over many years; you get a shattered person.

No wonder these kids grow up hating Israel, and when I see things like this happening I start to dislike the regime too.
Will they ever learn? If you mistreat people you are just giving ammo to people who want to mistreat you.

I think people do not quite understand how insane are zionist. Even in the US, if you say anything about them, they will destroy you in a sustained and systematic manner. He said: "As a result [children] are frequently involved in lethal acts. With the Palestinian Authority unable or unwilling to meet its obligation to investigate and prosecute these offences, Israel has no choice but to do so itself.

An international human rights group has called on Palestinian militants to stop using children in suicide bombings and military attacks.

So true. It is unlikely to happen. I think someone gave the government evidence of what the zionists are doing to children and they were forced to comment by law. I don't think they will take any further action because the UK has been compromised by zionists and Israeli spying.

Another Palestinian child was narrowly prevented from becoming a human bomb. This one, a 16-year-old (although some have reported that he is only 14 years old), was wrapped in explosives vests under his clothing and was stopped by Israeli forces at a West Bank checkpoint. His family is saying he has the intelligence of a 12-year-old and yet still the human rights groups continue to turn a blind eye.
