On November 2, which is" The Day of the Dead " in mexico.
messenger-inquirer.com...

I'm sure this happens every so often, but it never seemed so
signifigant as it does this year.

OH NO! Half of my candy will be gone by then.

Maybe some people will have a 'sweet tooth' for Kerry.

I imagine every 7 years. Is that right? Wait, always the first Tuesday in November, but then only once every four years for President so actually once every 28 years?

I could be wrong on any number of points above though. But something like that.

No, I was wrong. That was the year he was re-elected.
My birthday falls on Nov 6th.
Which was election day in the year 1960.

You might be on to something...half of mexico is now in the US...and probably (scary thought) will be allowed to vote soon enough....I say we INVADE mexico next...after were done with the middle east...because then all of the border hoppers will be citizens...and pay taxes...and we could send them back to our new 51st state...hell...a reserve unit from west bubble f*ck could probably take it over by itself....then mexico and the US elections would be connected...sorry for rambling...

You needed to factor in the leap years. I haven't done any figuring on it though. You could look it up on a perpetual calender.

Getting back to the thread. (joking)I found a picture from a future newspaper dated Nov. 3, 2004 and looks like Kerry's going to forget to take his Halloween costume off!(joking)

Looks like he might be going to tamper with the election results with all those buttons and switches behind him.

I'm glad the photographer got proof in case there's another election scandal!

Not only is Election Day "The Day of the Dead" in Mexico, it's also All Soul's Day on this year's Catholic calendar. Not that any of this means anything. Just babbling on my part.

It's pretty fitting, as the prospect of another 4 years with Bush at the helm is pretty damned scary!!!

"Would you like another glass of air for the debates Mr. President?"

None of this menas a thing other than the way the calender falls this year
But I agree with Gazrok 100%!

I always thought All Soul's Day was November 1 also, but we just received a letter from our parish saying that it will be celebrated on the 2nd. Maybe our parish is going whacko.
