Romney is the least invidious choice and therefore I will cast a vote for him (at least he is "eligible")....but one has to wonder if he isnt being put in to mollify the resistance to Obama's health care that was passed by Congress (since he was the architect of the pre-model as set up in Mass).

I am in strong support for both of them donning some gear and heading off to Afghanistan to win the war. Of course it would be only fair to warn the insurgents of their eta.

I can't support anyone who furthers the destruction of our freedoms and our nation... I think the real question is exactly how fast do we want to go down the crapper? We are going there anyway just depends on how fast and hard we would like to fall. Either way it's going to be a cluster ****. Under obama I see a full blown revolution if he is re-elected. Romney might not happen as fast, people will wait for him to show his true nature. But mark my words we will do something to spark it. The guy is a puppet just like obama... After the first spark it will move like a wild fire from coast to coast.

The first revolution only had the support of 50% of the people. Seems like we are in the same situation again. The true patriots are ready to stand up and take there nation back. It will be quick and painless if the masses realize this is whats best for the nation and it's people. Sit down, buckle up, shut up, and get ready for something that needed to take place in this country for decades now. America will rise again but first it needs to be cleansed of the lies, greed, and corruption that plagues every one of us daily. Like someone else already mentioned "A phoenix rising from the ashes".

Dr. Paul will get my write in vote but i'm fully aware it won't do a damn thing at this point... TPTB will not allow him into office.

Obama is definitely not ready for "prime time," as mentioned by numerous Democratic insiders. I will be voting for Romney because he has both executive and business experience. Being a (so called) Republican in Mass. is a challenge, and we need someone with business acumen to get the US economy somewhat back on track.

I am not saying I like Romney. I don't, at all, but he's the less of two evils (potential disaster) in this case. IMO, Ron Paul is the only person telling mostly the truth, but that will get you no where these days.

I do not support Obama.

I know very little about Romney but I don't want to vote for him seeing as how he doesn't have our interests at heart.

I voted for Obama, once; that is enough, I will not vote republican, only if Ron Paul makes it to Nov, then I will change party's, or make him a write in. There is no way i could back, support,or vote for Mitt. so if all else fails i will not vote.

Some posts above you said you did not support either of them.

Hypocrisy as usual.

Romney is Bush on steroids. If you like war and want Big Brother watching your every move, Romney is your guy. He is the most hawkish and anti-liberty candidate that has EVER run for president (imo).

Romney, October 7, 2011, Charleston, South Carolina:

Romney began his speech with a heavy dose of fear.Iran he warned, could well become “a fully activated nuclear weapons state, threatening its neighbors, [and] dominating the world’s oil supply.” Indeed, “Iran’s suicidal fanatics could blackmail the world.”
In Afghanistan, the Taliban might well “find a path back to power,” with the country sinking “back into the medieval terrors of fundamentalist rule.” Pakistan’s instability could end up placing nuclear weapons “in the hands of Islamic jihadists,” while “the malign socialism” of Venezuela and Cuba could “undermine the prospects of democracy” in Latin America.

Then, of course, there are the heavy dancers. China’s leaders could well take that nation down “a darker path, intimidating their neighbors, brushing aside an inferior American Navy in the Pacific, and building a global alliance of authoritarian states.”

And Russia might well “bludgeon the countries of the former Soviet Union into submission, and intimidate Europe with the levers of its energy resources.” Nor should people forget “Islamic fundamentalism, with which we have been at war since Sept. 11, 2001.”

Fortunately, though, there is help for a beleaguered world on the horizon.
“God did not create this country to be a nation of followers,” Romney explained. “America is not destined to be one of several equally balanced global powers.” Instead, “the United States should always retain military supremacy.”

consortiumnews.com... The above excerpt says it all. MITT ROMNEY IS MORE PARANOID THAN NIXON. (imo)

More about Mitt Romney's Foreign Policy here: Dubya is Back: my.auburnjournal.com... and here: An American Century: A Strategy to Secure America's Enduring Interests and Ideals www.mittromney.com... and here: Elect Romney: Get War in Iran www.alternet.org... .

Follow that up with supporting NDAA, CISPA, HR347, owning a company that builds and maintains SPY CENTERS and was responsible for setting UP the FIRST PROTOTYPE SPY CENTER when he was Governor and appointed by Bush to head the Governor's Homeland Security Council including the infamous, "See something. Say something."

About the country's first Spy Center implimented by Romney in Massachusetts: truth-out.org...:little-brothers-are-watching-the-example-of-massachusetts

Romney's Spy Centers in China: www.nytimes.com... AND taylormarsh.com...

ANYONE who thinks DOMESTIC SPYING is NOT an issue in the United States needs to read this two year investigation by the Washington Post: projects.washingtonpost.com...

According to the Washington Post report, " some 1,271 government organizations and 1,931 private companies work on programs related to counterterrorism, homeland security and intelligence in about 10,000 locations across the United States."

THINK ABOUT IT. Romney spent the past decade of his life writing op-eds about subjects like building up the military, doubling the size of our prison camp so suspects would be denied access to lawyers, the justifications of torture and why it is NECESSARY to WIRETAP MOSQUES. He is PRO wiretapping, infinite detention WITHOUT A TRIAL, searching without probably cause, torture, and isn't even PRETENDING to give a rat's behind about anybody except the bankers WHO, he on video after video, says with the help of Ben Bernanke saved the world.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg. The biased media has NOT vetted Mitt Romney what-so-ever...making a big deal over the namby-pamby lying and flip-flopping when the Romney is so horrific.

In my opinion.

Gotta agree with this.

If Romney wins -
The good news ... Obama is out.
The bad news .... Romney is in.

If Obama wins -
The good news ... Romney isn't in.
The bad news ... Obama is in.

I'm waiting to see who Romney picks as Vice President on his ticket.
That could change my view on all this.
But for now ... There isn't much daylight between Obama or Romney.

This is not kindergarten. Using a childish talking point, then attempting to use weasel words and spin out of it...badly. That's called "throwing the stone, then hiding the hand". Cowardly.

You hate libs, thats a fact in view of your posting history, therefore, as you stated earlier, you'll vote republican. A republican vote will support romney. You support romney. You stated no support for either candidate.

You lied. A liar AND a hypocrite.

Not that it's a surprise coming from you or your ilk, frankly.

Now, SPIN! Ready, set, go!

PS: Obama and Romney are two faces of the same coin anyway. Take your divide and conquer agenda somewhere else.

I don't have a dog in this race. I don't support Obama, Romney, nor Paul. Not voting at all this election season. And until we can get a candidate on the ballot (regardless of party) that's either an atheist or doesn't have a religious agenda I'm no longer voting in any election in this country.

It seems odd that I've yet to see a Romney bumper sticker. I still see some Obama 2008 stickers, but mostly on older, beat up Subaru's.

I support Obama.

I think he has done a decent job, and I think that if he's given another 4 years the country will be in even better shape

Of course I'm going to get flamed for this, but hey..everyone is entitled to their own opinion

I'd rather have Obama than Romney inasmuch as to losing an arm to losing a leg.

I find it amazing any with an Internet connection have yet to see the truth to those puppets yet.

Absolutely astounding!

I would list many Obama failures but, would hope those in support of him can simply do a search "Exposed Obama" and find the truth themselves..

Here is some of Romney's handy work

I do not support Romney.
And I know of no one that does.
Those who support Obama,
are few and far between in these parts.

Most I know support Ron Paul.
Time for a revolution, peepz.

right on and we the people need more control somehow and less government. look at them taking millions of our tax dollars and going on vacation. if we did that we would go to jail or prison.

Before I go on my rant, I will probably vote for President Obama. Lesser of two evils on many levels.

Now, all these posts I keep reading from many of the returning members of ATS who are thinking about voting for Romney because Ron Paul won't be on the ballot... you are cowards! Stand by your guy! Write him in! I read all kinds of pro Paul posts on this site - and they are well deserved - Ron Paul would be a good choice. But stick by your guns!!!
A vote for Ron Paul is not a vote for the President. If enough people write him in, he can't continue to be ignored. Don't get all pissed off because the Republican Party - HIS party - won't back him in the race. At least have the convictions to see this thing through - no matter the outcome.
