More than half of the mining jobs are taken up by the Kiwis because the Australians don't want to work in them.

Whilst the way the native people in Australia where treated, we had nothing to do with NZ which is another country all together

Asians and Indians are not paying for anything, and these crimes of which you speak are generally not done by the white australian community but rather people from over seas forming gangs, Whilst I agree we have Racists here, the general population have no problem with Immigants as most of us can identify with immigrants as we grew up with them.

What I find disgusting is people from other countries who form opinions from news agencies that make money by peddeling rubbish believe the crap they read or see on a youtube clip.

We have no problems with immigrants, we do have a problem with losing work because of bad politics allowing its countrymen to be udercut, these people looking for work now become a bourden on the community through unemployment bennefits rather than working and paying taxes.

Im a First Fleet descendant Aussie who lives in Malaysia, there are tons of us here and Im one of the few who doesnt work in Oil and gas or mining.
Ive heard nothing about this either on any news or the grapevine and I find that hard to swallow if its true.

Can we get a link to any laws or exemptions that have been made for these companies?

This is the third really bad news I have seen about Australia in about 4 days . First one of the block was the no fly if you refuse an deadly x=ray at the airports starting in July . That reduces flying to once a year .I pity those hard working business people who frequently fly between the major cities .

Second was the corruption of our baggage handlers at those same airports using passengers bags as drug mules as in the Schepelle Corby case and the massive scandle of the actions of all involved after that to protect our drug trade as well as relations with Indonesia .

And now this which is the deadly blow for the Australian way . 50 million people and low wages . Hello the new India .
I think Im going to just go migrate to India if they are all heading here to trash the place . Now if only India could stop its population from having 8 kids each and Australia taking in it slow and lazy workers to work the prime jobs ...India could be a great destination .

Where do you live ? If you lived imn one of Aussies cities or gold Coast you would already notice that just about every cab driver is an Indian. This has not been the norm . This influx has happened in just a few recent years .

Many food cooks in shopping malls are indians . very new . I would not eat food made by unqulified staff with no real cleaniliness standards. Not that any food workers no how to be clean in food preparation .
shopping trolly collectors are Indian now . Used to be kids Security staff in shopping malls I've noticed alot of indian and i noticed heaps of Indians being the security staff at sydney airport .

In Australia to get those security staff jobs you have to pay like 3000 dollars first to do the course . Do you really think some new indian to the country has done a course that costs that much .

NO ...and why not , because its too expensive for them . They are poor people ..If they do have a certificate you can bet on it that it has been forged back in India . The Indian forge everything . Their pilots may not be the qualified person you hope for as he may have simply bought the certificate . I read that one in an Indian news article .
Anyway ...no need to be all sentimental about the poor indian immigrant here . Go live in India and learn how the real system works .

Why not try them for treason or at least begin a movement to do so and bring the public disgust and dissatisfaction to light? I can't think of anything more treasonous against ones country or ones citizens than taking the food out of their mouths by giving local jobs to foreigners who will work for less money. Some sort of compromise on wages should be made by the locals to appease the companies concern for profits and the company in return should ONLY hire Australians.

These invaders are not crossing a border at midnight, they are /will be flying in on Indian/chinese built runways , via Jet palnes, circumnavigating Australian customs.

2. Australia recorded a six month low in unemployment at 5.1% so i dont think we are weeping. If you want to see weeping then have a look at what is happening with unemployment in the US.

3.We are not being invaded by foreign workers. everytime that there is an influx in foreign workers in this country the old timers cry invasion. its been that way for the last 100 years.
We are all one and the same. The sooner this country realises that the better.

I was born and raised in Melbourne but have lived in Sydney and Perth with work, Im currently in Kuala lumpur Malaysia and have been here 3 years. I com home every few months to catch up with friends and family.

A few things I need to correct you on,

1st off the Indians you see in Australia are not poor (At least not by Indian standards) and there are no Indian refugees. The guys driving ur cab and serving ur food are for the most part international students whos parents have paid anywhere from $5,000 to $20,000 (Aust$) a term for them to study there. We think school fees are high now but if we took all these guys out of the system they would sky rocket, they basically subsidise actual Aussies school fees.

2nd no Indian (or any non developed nations) qualifications of any kind whether medicine, law, aviation or security are accepted in Australia all these people need to get the relevant Aussie standard qualifications before getting a job in any field.

3rd almost without exception the "sexually harrasy" type Indians are rich (even by Australian standards) these ignorant buggers can get away with it in India due to the corruption whereby if you have money you can get away with anything. I do agree however that that whole Anti Indian thing tat was in the media a few years ago was blown out of proportion and they arent specifically targeted, in my opinion it was just junkies looking for a fix and a few Indian students made easy targets walking by themselves late at night in dodgy areas. I was all based around the suburb of Sunshine in West Melb not far from where I live.

Before I came to Malaysia I worked in recruitment and the reason you find alot of Indians working in jobs like Cab driving, Telemarketing and food preparation is that Aussies just wont do it.
And before anyone goes on about telemarketing and the Indian sterotype Im talking about Indian students mainly who were working 20 hrs a week (which is the max allowed for foreign students) whose role while maybe annoying to the general public was necessary to support a whole structure of people, admin staff, sales staff, managers, warehouse guys, delivery men etc etc.

Forgive my skepticism but I find it highly unlikely you hang out with alot of Indians.

Dont get me wrong Im against blanket immigration but for the most part Indians and SE asians are a welcome addition to our country, they dont see it it as a place to freeload but as a place that is full of opportunity and they are willing to work hard and in menial jobs to make themselves successful.

Personally I feel its refugees we should be worried about, in most cases these people have no desire to assimilate and are quite happy to live on government benefits as even the paltry amount they do get affords them a better quality of life they were used to and they are quite content for it to stay that way.

Before making stupid posts, go research economic data of your country, Indians give more to the economy than they take.
You should be worried about those lazy illegal immigrants who claim benefits.

I empathise with the australians suffering from the mass importation of cheap foriegn slaves into their shores.

But truth is that for every 10 australians, probably only 0.1% of them are such, while the rest are ready to work, PROVIDED that they are paid honest wages for honest labour at sustainble rates, to live and love, as ordained since civilisation began.

Mankind were not meant to be robots/workaholics that the chinese and indians truly are. They know not better, after all, they come from corrupted and repressive regimes, and no matter how hard they work, they will be slaves as their masters robbed them of their wealth anytime.
