U.S. intelligence agencies believe that Iran is prepared to launch terrorist attacks inside the United States in response to perceived threats from America and its allies, the U.S. spy chief said Tuesday.

That plot “shows that some Iranian officials — probably including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei — have changed their calculus and are now more willing to conduct an attack in the United States in response to real or perceived U.S. actions that threaten the regime,” Clapper said in the testimony, which was submitted to the Senate Intelligence Committee in advance of a threat assessmen

I'm sure this is true. To what extend actual "plots" have been planned and are ready for execution is a different story.

The same with all the Iraqi families who had their children slaughtered, I'm confident they want to attack/harm US citizens as well... Yet will never have the means or drive to do so.

Honestly, with the 3rd US carrier group heading for the Persian Gulf... It doesn't appear there is any turning back at this point... and here we thought Israel was the aggressor.

I see nothing new here. Just more US propaganda and rhetoric for war with Iran. Anything to make it out to be this massive threat to the US. Iran and about a dozen other countries could be compiled into this type of intent.

There's that oxymoron that is used whenever it comes to decision making regarding Iran....U.S. Intelligence

We, as a Nation are being set up for another long drawn out war, purely for political and financial gain. More innocent people killed.Ours' and theirs'...all for nothing....

I think Iran should worry more about which subs are sitting off their coast versus which carriers. Carriers don't carry nuclear missiles. Subs are full of them.

Back in the sixties TPTB told us that if we didn't fight the Communists in Vietnam we'd be fighting them in the streets of America. And people believed it. Have we learned nothing about these war mongering death profiteers since??
