So, you want the American taxpayer to be on the hook for every cent The Federal Reserve promises to someone without the consent of The Congress, that would triple our debt in months.

So, it's ok for our troops to be sent into harms way because it will benefit some corporation?

The U.S. Government, and our constitution, and core beliefs is what makes the U.S. successful. The U.S. Government has done an effective job of regulating our economy on a fairly consistent basis, the exception being when people foolishly choose to give giant corporations unlimited power.

That is the same successful formula for all first world nations.

Meanwhile the third world nations are ruled over by giant corporations and the super rich.

Wait.
Did you just state that the Federal Govt, the same that brought us TARPs, Bailouts, Federal Reserve, No Gold Standard, 15T Budget/Debt and everything else is doing a great job of regulating?

I am sorry, but what is the punch line???
There has gotta be a punch line.

Mindless blabbering at the end.

The tax payer is the tax payer, they fund the Govt. So, yes.
If that were the case, then Federal Spending would not be at $15 trillion dollars.
The Federal Reserve is one giant "IOU" mechanism.

If there were no Federal Reserve, then the Federal Govt would not be on an out of control spending blitz.

Again, you want more Govt control so you feel safe at night.

Patriot PAC (www.PatriotPAC.org) reported yesterday

THREE OBAMA OFFICIALS IMPLICATED IN SEDITIOUS PLOT TO DISMANTLE US CONSTITUTION
NEW EVIDENCE COMES OUT OF OBAMA ADMINISTRATION OFFICIALS’ INVOLVEMENT IN PLAN TO EFFECTUALLY REWRITE THE U.S. CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS.
SOROS-FUNDED EFFORT TO FORCE AMERICA INTO ACCEPTING A MARXIST MANIFESTO BY 2012 UNDERWAY IN OBAMA FACTION, LED BY KEY EXECUTIVE BRANCH APPOINTEES

Just days after Marxist Free Market Saboteur Steve Lerner’s plans for mass May Day national economic disruptions have become known via secretly caught exposure of a taped meeting with other extremists, now new evidence implicates the Obama White House in sedition. Regulatory Czar Cass Sunstein; his wife Samantha Power, Senior Director of the National Security Council; and Department of Justice Attorney General Eric Holder are key players in a related plot to dismantle and destroy America’s Constitutional republic.

In April 2005, Sunstein opened a conference at Yale Law School sponsored by George Soros’ Open Society Institute entitled, “The Constitution in 2020.” The event was designed as a forum to craft the agenda and assign the tasks for changing the nature and interpretation of the Constitution into a fully “progressive” Marxist Manifesto by the year 2020. Sunstein was a natural fit for the conference, as his 2004 book, “The Second Bill of Rights: FDR’S Unfinished Revolution and Why We Need It More than Ever” proposed a radical new document to replace America’s traditional Bill of Rights.

The conference was co-sponsored by the American Constitution Society, another hard Left Marxist organization which seeks to rewrite the Constitution. Attorney General Eric Holder not only previously served on the ACS Board of Directors, but is keynote speaker for their 2011 Convention.

The Obama faction onslaught against America is coming from all sides. A union thug with White House connections plots to crash the American economy while high ranking Obama officials seek to subvert the Constitution and Bill of Rights. We MUST compel Congress to open investigations and HALT the Obama wrecking crew that is daily dismantling America!

The only reason for the spending blitz is because the Tax breaks for the rich, subsidies to big oil and for corporations who send jobs overseas, end all 3 and a trillion plus a year will be added back into the nation not requiring us to loan a cent, but ending tax breaks stifles the "Job Creators" according to you which is flawed!

You are contradicting yourself whereas you want smaller Govt but allow Govt to regulate industry is seeking the opposite. Regulations over corporations do not restrict the liberty of the people as is and should be the only liberty that you are to defend, personal liberty exclusively limited to the people and no outside entity or corporation. Of course it's gonna raise costs which they pass right on to the consumer.

How is Govt being a broadsword over corporations restricting your individual liberty? You still haven't answered this q and continue to deflect because TV news hasn't instructed you on how to respond.

How are more and more restrictions on business and commerce equal to more liberty? I don't understand your logic. How are more and more fees, taxes, licensing requirements, and other controls over every aspect of our lives equal to liberty? Don't you know that this is exactly the meaning of Totalitarianism? Would you advocate our society be like Hitler's or Mussolini's? Because that is what you are indicating by your desire for bigger govt.

We did this by consistently voting in the lesser of evils, or at least what some people thought were the lesser of evils. Turns out most of them were evil.
Much of what is going on is a concerted effort by the Soros crowd and Intl Socialism to subvert our society, our cultural norms, our economy, and our Constitution.

I think you didn't understand why jobs go overseas. It's because of all the restrictions here and there's no incentive to stay. So, no it's not subsidies for overseas corporations but restrictions on those that stay at home. But you got the Democrat line down pat!

Government today is absolutely corrupt, run by extremely wealthy and extremely immoral individuals. If there were any justice in the world, our "leaders" would be guillotined.
And perhaps, they will be.

Both parties suck IMO but if you think that the Democrats aren't in bed with same corporate interests that you hate, you haven't been paying attention. If anything is destroying what the U.S stands for, it's rampant Progressivism. We need to remember who we are as a people and what made us the greatest country on the face of the planet.

Unfortunately, there haven't been many intelligent posts on this site for quite a while now. I check it out from time to time, but my time here is much less these days than it used to be.

I agree with you, that the Government of the USA is one of the most corrupt Governments on the planet (if not the worst). To top it all off, they don't even call it "bribery" any more. They call it "lobbying", it happens in plain sight, and the American people just sit back and let it happen. Organizations and Corporations have turned political bribery into somethnig that seems to have been accepted by the American public at large, and something where they can have their official bribery representatives roaming the halls of Capitol Hill (practically with bags of money to hand out to the first politicians who will support their causes) and no one sees anything wrong with this.

It makes me laugh when organizations put out maps of the world showing the most corrupt Governments on Earth and the USA hardly ranks.

Wow, are you really this naive?

In a free market no company would release medicine that killed. They would go out of business. In a regulated market they will pay fines and fees for murder but not go out of business.

Yeah, that business might close, but the people who ran the scam still walk away with the money, and no responsibility. They are then free to go run their scam elsewhere. Is this a world you want to live in?

In a regulated market, if found negligent, they will pay fines, and some people might wind up going to jail, and may very well go out of business.

The rest of your post is in complete ignorance of history, establishment of regulations, and the advancement of first world economies.

There is no such thing as a free market economy, and it never has existed. You can prove me wrong by naming one successful free market economy. The U.S. is not one, and has been regulated from the beginning.

No amount of regulation would regulate Big Pharma out, unfortunately because Big Govt supports them. This is where the lobbying comes in. Big Pharma is tied into the conspiracy to harmonize the US with the European Codex Alimentarius program of controlling our natural vitamin and herb supplements which the pharmaceutical companies cannot patent. It is also tied in to the UN and World Health Org.
www.codexalimentarius.net...

The Codex Alimentarius Commission was created in 1963 by FAO and WHO to develop food standards, guidelines and related texts such as codes of practice under the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Programme. The main purposes of this Programme are protecting health of the consumers and ensuring fair trade practices in the food trade, and promoting coordination of all food standards work undertaken by international governmental and non-governmental organizations.

Here is the agenda of Codex

More and more people are becoming concerned about the shady, secretive organization that is Codex Alimentarius - the thinly-veiled propaganda arm of the international pharmaceutical industry that does everything it can to promote industry objectives whilst limiting individual options to maintain health (which would diminish mermbers profits
Codex alimentarius is one of the major bodies behind the effort to limit access to nutritional products and information. Its motivation is not rocket science and neither is the source of its funding - money that somehow expected to return a profit to its members . . . Most of the information available regarding codex alimentarius refers to its role in the USA, but it is not a US-specific body. Far from it, Codex has wiggled its dirty little tentacles into just about every national or international body concerned with public health. Posing as a benefactor, it then uses its significant financial and political clout to do its masters bidding.

How could a country that prides itself in its freedom of speech, freedom of choice, and freedom of information be facing such severe restrictions in health freedom and dietary supplements? Haven't the people made their will known? Didn't our government pass the Dietary Supplement Health & Education Act of 1994 to insure our right to health supplements?

OPERATION CURE ALL IS JUST ONE MEANS TO AN END

You see, Operation Cure-All is just a tactic, a vehicle, in a much bigger overall plan. It is a result of "Codex Alimentarius" (meaning food code) -- a set of regulations that aim to outlaw any health information in connection with vitamins and limit free access to natural therapies on a worldwide scale.
Behind the Codex Alimentarius Commission is the United Nations and the World Health Organization working in conjunction with the multinational pharmaceutical cartel and international banks. Its initial efforts in the US with the FDA were defeated, so it found another ally in the FTC. Now Codex, with the FTC and the pharmaceutical cartel behind it, it threatens to become a trade issue, using the campaign of Operation Cure-All to advance its goals.
Codex began simply enough when the U.N. authorized the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organization to develop a universal food code. Their purpose was to 'harmonize' regulations for dietary supplements worldwide and set international safety standards for the purposes of increased trade. Pharmaceutical interests stepped in and began exerting their influence. Instead of focusing on food safety, Codex is using its power to promote worldwide restrictions on vitamins and food supplements, severely limiting their availability and dosages.

The reason jobs go overseas is because of trade agreements that serve the interests of the ICBs, and work against the U.S. public.

The problem, however, is much deeper than that.

That Bankers are given free reign, they artificially raise price by debt creation, which puts U.S. workers at a disadvantage.

An even bigger problem is that we produce more than we can consume, so we have a disposable society of planned obsolescence. The Europeans are dealing with the problem through job sharing.,

I have learned over the years that republicans will almost always vote or propose bills that BENEFIT big businesses, which coincidentally they have some part in the majority of the time. Do you have any idea how much money the Bush family made off of his war in Iraq? It was a lot to say the least I am sure, although there is no way for us to know for sure.

I would be willing to bet that republicans abuse their power much more often than democrats when it comes to using Federal law to profit for themselves, their friends and family, as well as their corporate "sponsors." It really is ridiculous and there should be laws that prevent this type of behavior, as well as some serious investigations.

The democrats are just as bad, but that party isn't as tied up with big business as the republicans. I will say that democrats do much, much more to help the lower and middle classes than do republicans. I don't see how that point could be denied, except superficially.

Sometimes it does depend on the person and not the party, but many people who are "voted" into office are put there through campaigns and propaganda paid for by, you guessed it, the ones who these elected officials will turn around and screw the people for. It happens everyday, and most are blind to it.

This is why I do not subscribe to any political party at this point in time. To be honest though, I would totally support small government and de-regulation, but only if I knew that the business and financial sector's members were honest. But unfortunately they are some of the most vile and ruthless pursuers of wealth, obtaining it in any way possible.

Why then would we give them a longer leash? That is what happens when republicans get into office, although it is still rampant under the Obama administration, which doesn't surprise me, since Obama is probably a socialist anyway.

No what I am saying is that if people do not like the circumstances of their employment, health, or any other aspect of their lives it is up to them to bring about change; not the government.

In a free market no company would release medicine that killed. They would go out of business. In a regulated market they will pay fines and fees for murder but not go out of business.

In a free market draconian work standards would result in lower production standards, which would create weak products, which would drive the company out of business. In a regulated market the draconian standards may not be as harsh but the company still doesn't go out of business if it abuses employees it gets fined.

In a free market system, a true free market system, everything you just mentioned would bring about financial ruin to a company. A company that would have no recourse of "bail out" if that happened. Therefore that company would see to it that all aspects of operation were in place to support continued business.

Marxists have traditionally used "human rights" as a cover for their nefarious agenda of controlling our lives in Totalitarian Nanny Statism. For the Marxist, the State is always Supreme over the rights of the individual. By pretending they are valuing human rights, they trick people into thinking that they support them, but in the end individual liberty suffers for the common good of the collective.
Also, the Humanist Manifesto is closely linked with the Communist Manifesto in its design.
How can the serpent deceive adam and eve if he gives them only the evil side of his idea?

The Marxist tradition is "let us do evil that good may come"

The serpent says, "thou shalt not surely die"

The Marxist says, "the ends justify the means"
