did a search, and the only thing that came up was back in 2008.
just wanted to give anyone in the western us and canada a heads up.
looks like this one will be quite spectacular.



Dec. 2, 2011: Waking up before sunrise can be tough to do, especially on a weekend. On Saturday, Dec. 10th, you might be glad you did. A total eclipse of the Moon will be visible in the early morning skies of western Northern America.




For people in the western United States the eclipse is deepest just before local dawn. Face west to see the red Moon sinking into the horizon as the sun rises behind your back. It’s a rare way to begin the day.

I got lucky with the one in June this year, this one won't be so great for me.

I’m in Australia... And it says all eclipse visible.. And the dates are all screwed up for me.. its the 4th here so have i missed it, or if i go out now I’ll see it? Its Sunday 4th 12.54 am here.
