I don't think anyone here is saying the boy isn't responsible for his actions. No-one is saying he shouldn't be punished. But castration and mob justice are just as extreme as the crime in question and would reduce the perpetrators to the same level.

I think the parents are to blame. The father or mother probably molested him. He acted out because he was venting anger and doing what he felt was normal - heck his parents do it.

Our society is falling apart too. Everything is a threat multiplier. Schools are closing. The things on the internet could make a 13 year old a serial killer if their parents ignore them. In fact, I think this information age could be partly to blame. Unregulated porn and violence everywhere.

Remember, kids eat up everything we give them. He didn't just randomly rape this girl. Look what we're feeding our kids. The media and internet and games - sex, war, violence and drugs. And so many kids are medicated by the psychiatric authorities. Who knows what is in our food that's screwing them up? I read all the same about #$%!^^!@ fish in the river. This is a cesspool.

And they grow up to be adults. We have a bipolar economy to look forward to as well.

There are a million things even worse then that, this is not the worst of the worst, it's an everyday occurrence. That's why 13 year olds aren't aloud in there. Obviously the teen was disturbed, but how the hell did he get in there? What idiot would allow that? If it wasn't sexual abuse it would have been physical. There is no reason for a 13 year old to be in a McDonalds play area.

Well I was molested at 5 years old, that is when my sexual activity started. I won't go into any more details, but I can tell you now by 13 I was getting oral sex from other girls in my grade that had probably been molested as well. I never victimized anyone, but I can assure you it was because I made a conscious effort not to. There were things my brain told me to do, little brain, but my big brain didn't follow through because I knew it was wrong. Not that I was afraid I would get caught, I knew it was wrong.

Your story is actually more common than you think. I can relate, and so can most people. When a topic is taboo, people have a reflex up shoving their head where you know. They don't really want to admit when kids start to think about sex, especially if they have children, and they think they have caused it.

I'm guessing that he went in there with intentions (probably unnoticed by any staff, adults, etc.) and waited on a child to prey on...a pedophile in the making. What crazy stuff is going on in the world today? Did the concept of JUSTICE go out the window? The TEEN knew that what he was doing was wrong. What 13 year old gets turned on by children...I mean there are girls out there his age, and whatever happened to good old masturbation?....no curing him, not at all. But, the sad reality is that he will get released back into society and he will probably prey on more children. Something needs to be done about this out of control abuse crimes on children. Who does this...WHO DOES THIS!!!! The cases that we have been hearing about lately changes my whole aspect on capital punishment! For example the case in CT...with the home invasion. A nice flaying and parade around town to warn others...if you do a crime against children....this is what happens. Is all sex painful, always?
Is any and everything that is painful wrong?
Because you've experience "sex" does that make your experience the only valid one?
Because you've burnt your hand on a stove, does that mean your sense of pain, is the same as the child who has his hand forced onto the stove and held there?

we dont know the full story we dont know what really happened , some 13 yold are pretty clever , but i know when i was 13 i was pretty dumb and still looking for my sex orientation ,
