Oh yeah, because I've attempted to ensure people don't blindly believe another thread saying it is gone when there was still conflicting information.

Anyway, it's off-topic and you're stewing that I gave you the finger because of your 'Yadda Yadda Yadda I'll take my flag back because I am sad and pathetic and don't like to hold discussions about topics that do not agree with my statements.'

I hope you put your flag where it belongs. The sun don't shine there.

Of course they don't.

The leader is gone. They're now part of the bankers system. And all these sheep think it was about freeing the people from tyrannical rule.

People don't understand that it's not black and white, like Raivan mentioned. It's not as easy as he was tyrannical and they are warring to remove him. That is not the reason he is being removed.

Thanks for this thread, I was looking for something like this when the news broke, about Gaddafi's death. It's late and I can't and havenn't read the whole thread, so I'm marking it, for my return tomarrow.

You know as a person who's lived in the Mid East all her life and knows a little bit of whats going on there, all I'm going to say is this, no body, and I mean NO BODY can point fingers at these guys as 'dictators' as if they were clean of the same blame themselves. Not the USA, not the FRENCH, and certainly not the Colonial British governments.

So you are free to question the allegations all you want, but there is one thing that the people of Middle East know and feel every day of their lives. They've been stupid. VERY stupid. Since they have been so stupid, they have been lead by stupid people. People who will take advantage of them, bully them when they can, and use them for their own good.

If you live in the US of A, these things are just starting for you so you know what I'm talking about.

Qaddafi was a dumb man. He was corrupt because the people around him ALWAYS supported him from FEAR, as if he was God himself. They supported him and clapped for him wether he was right or wrong. They wanted to be close to him, to have a piece of that power he allegedly had, so they cheered him on thinking they could have a piece of it. Dictators do not become dictators by themselves, they need an army of sheep to fall into their lead so they can become powerful over time.

And that is the truth of it.

There is a famous Muslim hadith saying: However you are, you shall be lead (by those who are like you).

In life Gaddafi would qualify for recognition as a Jew.
He died as an Arab.
A soldier of sorts who was supported by the west for decades, then cut down like a dog.
In the end , all will be begun and revealed.

Thankyou for your perspective and adding something of actual value to this thread. I agree, and I believe, as mentioned by Flavian, that he started off with good intentions but 'power corrupts'.

What is not being acknowledged is why he was really being deposed. Well, it's because they really needed to dispose of him. Hence the death with no court trial. What he was trying to accomplish, and the stability he was trying to create for the whole african region. I can be certain the Rebels in power now and controlling the banking are sucking the funds and resources out of Libya.

Even UK and US want their 'money' back now for 'helping' and 'intervening'.

That was the first thing that occurred to me upon seeing the footage.
They can show us something that graphic no problem with Gadaffi. Where's the OBL footage.I want to see it.Why can't I? Where's his body? When will Gadaffi's Muslim mandated sea burial be taking place?

Who's going to jump to the defence of TPTB on this one. Let's hear you reason this one away. There is no reasoning it away.

hi OP,

Thank you for this thread. I have kinda liked Gadaffi in a way and for the last week I've been learning a bit more about him. I actually went to bed last night thinking about him and was dismayed to wake up this morning with a BBC News alert on my phone saying he was killed, including the pic of him. This news has affected me greatly and I will always remember this day.

For the last few days I have been posting about him on facebook, have you seen this video?:

I have tried talking to family and friends about him, but they always spat the word 'terrorist' in my face with such hatred, it really scares me how brainwashed the media has made some of my loved ones. I realize that Gadaffi wasn't perfect and that I don't know everything there is to know about him, but there is just something I really like about him.

I want to thank you again for having the courage to create this thread, I was hoping that someone else out there felt how wrong this was. I don't understand celebrating someone's death or being able to dispose of someone the way they have been. I am still pretty young and there are lots of things that I don't understand, I guess.

I'm sorry if I sounded stupid at times in this post, I am not good at expressing myself, but I felt the need to try for the purpose of this thread.

Thanks for the video , there was a lot new info for me that kinda puts me to look at the whole thing from different angle, i kind of liked Gaddafi too, i mean everybody has to admit he had charisma, and somehow i always wondered if he really had been guilty of all things he was accused of,,well now we really never can know, anyways my 2 cents no matter if he was evil or not i think he should of had the chance of an trial instead of bullet in the head!

I believe the reason why Saddam got a trial and Bin Laden and Gaddafi didn't is because of what they will say to a worldwide audience, especially if they have a good lawyer.

I agree with both of you.

Qadaffi might have done some bad things but nobody deserves to die like that IMO

When I saw the video today I had the exact same feeling as when I saw the video of all the lions and Bengal tigers and bears killed in Ohio.

His last words were "Please don't kill me. Please don't kill my sons."

Honestly, i am not old enough to i have been in Libya in the last few years rather than prior to that. All that i can say is that the older people we spoke to in Libya, when they were sure there was no one to overhear, would say that it was great in the old days. I realise that old people in most places say this though so cannot really comment on that one way or the other!

Regarding the rebels, these are people that have lived under tyranny for 40 years. Who are we to say whether they are right or wrong in their actions. This is not meant as a criticism but honestly we in the advanced west really do not have a clue about life in places such as this. It is so far removed from what we know that you really cannot apply our morality to such issues - it is like trying to force a square peg into a round hole.

Is it tasteful some of the acts that the rebels have carried out? No

Do i blame them? No, i hate to admit but i would probably harbour the same hatred if i had lived under such tyranny for so long

If you had actually bothered to look at the pictures you would have seen the black writing was just being painted by a man....

The shadow directions are inconsistent within the second picture, with some appearing
to go up and to the left while others go down and to the right!

Wrong again, they are the same, as you know nothing about photography it is obvious a automatic camera used, thus the difference in the shadows.

And ATS have the gumption to escort all 9/11 Media Fakery threads to the hoax bin

Well, that is where they belong as they are hoaxes. Where else should a obvious hoax go?

I agree with you 100% on that! been thinking the same

who knows what would of come up in the trials and as for Gaddafi i have seen him on media since the seventies (if i remember right he visited Finland too at some point) he was the kind of guy who didnt hold back he:s opinions and if he had something to say... he said it .. though he:s statements were bit crazy during this last year..but anyways you cant say that for many politicans
