I would say that these women seem to be willing to sell their soul to get what they want, and it sure doesn't make me have respect for them.

"sell their soul to get what they want" What do they want, do you think?

Can you point out the soul selling part? Can you tell what a human who has sold their soul looks like? Could you point one out in the supermarket?

we peep thru such TINY (human) holes while gazing upon a vast landscape and we imagine that all there is, is what we alone can see, while rarely understanding that if we LISTEN to others we can actually see a bit more.

so sad.

I think men who frequent prostitutes have no respect for women,

As far as it being the oldest profession, that is not exactly a correct interpretation, ancient goddess fertility cults and sacred prostitution, look it up

Not unlike shamanism and altering the mind with substances for the sacred, both have been corrupted.

Now you are using what was once considered sacred by ancient cultures as recreation, to those that do it is just wham bam thank you mam.

Can you point out the soul selling part?

Let's say the soul is your conscience or self respect.

It is just a figure of speech,

BTW who here frequents prostitutes and how much do you pay?

For all of who support paying for sex. You need help. The long term psychological damage done to the women involved doesn't matter right? Forced into submission and aggressively raped for a fee. The orgasm is a powerful energy source that is unfortunately abused in our modern culture.

But you have no problems with gigolos, right?

Asking again, who here frequents prostitutes and how much do you pay?

I am curious, to see how many will admit they do.

Coalition Against Trafficking in Women International (CATW)

The following arguments apply to all state-sponsored forms of prostitution, including but not limited to full-scale legalization of brothels and pimping, decriminalization of the sex industry, regulating prostitution by laws such as registering or mandating health checks for women in prostitution, or any system in which prostitution is recognized as sex work or advocated as an employment choice.

As countries are considering legalizing and decriminalizing the sex industry, we urge you to consider the ways in which legitimating prostitution as work does not empower the women in prostitution but does everything to strengthen the sex industry.

Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution is a gift to pimps, traffickers and the sex industry.
Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution and the sex industry promotes sex trafficking.
Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution does not control the sex industry. It expands it.
Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution increases clandestine, hidden, illegal and street prostitution.
Legalization of prostitution and decriminalization of the sex industry increases child prostitution.
Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution does not protect the women in prostitution.
Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution increases the demand for prostitution. It boosts the motivation of men to buy women for sex in a much wider and more permissible range of socially acceptable settings.
Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution does not promote women's health.
Legalization/decriminalization of prostitution does not enhance women's choice.
Women in systems of prostitution do not want the sex industry legalized or decriminalized.

Real sexual relationships are not hard to find. ... Some people do not want an equal, sharing relationship...They like the power involved in buying a human being who can be made to do almost anything.

Try telling that to many the brilliant boyz i find in these forums. It ain't so easy, particularly given today's rampant confusion on gender rolls...
You clearly have never talked with a successful sex worker: they have the power, they set the rules and in today's web anonymity, prospective clients have to pass muster or the can go someplace else. There are girls who don't take such precautions (thankfully for all the newbe boyz). This is a choice.

The only ones being made to do anything are the slaves...slaves to work, slaves to debt, slaves to their own excesses.

The business of prostitution and pornography is the use of real human beings to support the fantasies of others. Anyone working in prostitution who tells a john too much about who they really are, interferes with the fantasy. They risk losing a customer, and may get a beating as well. In real relationships with real people, you are stuck with the limitations of who you are, who your partner is, and what you can do together without hurting each other.

cool story. when ur ready to join the rest of us on planet earth, do let us know.

Some people do not want real relationships

define "real". is it your real or my real you are talking about.
i feel therefore i am.
feels real: must be real.

see the rainbow, human.

If someone is hurt, that is not his problem.

yep, just like the rest of the #ers usin us up for their pleasures and profits: not their problem.

you pointing ur finger at the wrong Devils, luv.

While I have to agree that paying for sex is reprehensible what you say about the women is not entirely true
Many women go into this with their eyes wide open. They are not being raped. Rape is not about sex it is about power and hurting a woman. These ladies are not being raped. There are many high priced call girls who pay for college with the high dollars they earn. They are not being duped into anything. They know there are men out there who will pay high dollars and they know they fill a need in society.
The young runaway that is picked up by a pimp and turned out that way is at a greater risk. That is a great shame on our society. But full grown women who go into this as a choice are not being unduly scarred by the experience.

Sex trafficing is also not prostitution. That is kidnapping and rape. There you are correct sir.
With prostitution we have to assume a certin amount of willingness of the woman. She is working a job.

sources? lol really? Look up the Bunny Ranch. I have never been with a prostitute but there is OBVIOUSLY some people who love it and do it because they enjoy it, and some people who are forced into it. If people like the lifestyle, attention, and money, as well as enjoy doing what they do, more power to them. I however do not agree with forced prostitution by any means, and I feel that in many instances their can be a fine line between the two.

The ancients used to believe the Ankh was the secret to eternal life. Im not talking about a physical tool but an energetic one. They would use this tool to Ankh sexual energy. This could be a huge topic on its own (like how energy travels up and down the body through a vertical tube between five energy channels that counter rotate as they extend through the body i.e. chakra) but what the Egyptians knew is that when you have an orgasm a very large amount of energy bursts from your root chakra all the way up your spine to the top of your head where it would be released. What the Egyptians would do, is when the spiral of energy hit their heart chakra they would ankh the energy out of the back of their body and over their head and back into their body where they would retain a massive energy boost. In other words if you take a tuning fork and hit it, it will reverberate for a certain amount of time, if you attach and ankh to it, it will resonate at least 3x's longer. They were doing this with their bodies!

What in the hay are you talking about?

Seriously, if you're going to talk about prostitution, spare us the space crystal walrus stuff, okay?

The whole argument is not about paying for the actual sexual service. The real argument is who the hell is anyone to tell a woman or man for that matter how they can and can't use their own body.

Anti-prostitution laws are old nonsensical semi religious laws. They have no place in our society.

For all you bottom-feeders that suck government tit get over your self righteous selves. The government has no business regulating your body and what you do with it.

Some countries even that subsidize the use of prostitutes by the handicapped. This is because superficial people like the OP and others who only see their own perfection and pass judgement on the less fortunate aren't likely to "put out" for the mentally or physically handicapped.

You say it's not natural. . . But what could be more natural than sex? Man has been trading goods or money for services sexual and otherwise forever. You high and mighty semi-religious people who say you believe in liberty only if it doesn't interfere with your ideas of morality need to get over yourselves.

It's my body if i want to fill it with THC or nicotine or trans-fat or evil complex sugars or pick up a hooker then who the hell are you or anyone else to say otherwise?

Liberty is the freedom to choose without being judged.

lib·er·ty (lbr-t)
n. pl. lib·er·ties
a. The condition of being free from restriction or control.
b. The right and power to act, believe, or express oneself in a manner of one's own choosing.

The moment you pass judgement and the moment the government legislates your LIBERTY is lost. You not for liberty OP, you are for legislation and laws that conform to your misplaced moral high ground.

And on a side note ATS'ers these retalition threads are getting very old. If you see a thread and you don't agree post your thoughts there... Why start a whole new thread with the sole intention of bashing a thread and idea put forward by a fellow member.

Just a thought.
