One of the things the police here has done, is collect evidence. They have forensic evidence of where she was. Did the KCPD, get evidence of where the family cars had been? Of where Deborah's shoes had been?edit on 19-11-2011 by Dav1d because: (no reason given)
This is interesting. From what we have been showed and have seen on live views, there was forensic evidence taken. As far as the questions about the cars and the shoes, I guess we will not know until the case is resolved (if there are no orders prohibiting the releasing of information). Unless someone here has been working with the local police and FBI, we can only speculate if the two items above were probed.

We have a much smaller police force here,
Aurora is a city in the U.S. state of Illinois. Part of the Chicago metropolitan area, its estimated population in 2009 was 172,950. The city officially adopted the nickname "The City of Lights" in 1908, because it was one of the first cities in the United States to implement an all-electric street lighting system in 1881. - All text is available under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License - Wikipedia

This is a tragic story, but lets not forget that there is a kidnapping everyday in the US. About 2-3 average per day in Mexico(scary considering Mexico has 1/3 the population of the US). Not trying to downplay this story, but there are many tragic stories like this that happen all of the time the don't get picked up in the media, but those people should still be remembered in our hearts. Oh, when was the last time you heard about a missing black girl?

WRONG. AGAIN. Unless you are talking about where YOU live, which, since you have said it's a podunk place, is NOT Aurora, you are WRONG.
Aurora is adjacent to CHICAGO! It is CONNECTED. A SUBURB. PART of the Greater Chicago Metro area. I've been there many times, and recently!
Uggg. Spewing disinfo again. I mean, STILL.

The 152,000-square-foot headquarters will house the department’s 300 officers and close to 100 civilian employees, and features the most advanced technology available for crime-fighting today. It will replace the headquarters currently located at 350 N. River St., which was built in 1966 and designed for around 100 police officers-- the size of Aurora’s force at that time.

It was the lawyers for irwins who said 'we'll do a press conference daily' and then did not and the lawyers who said ' the boys will interview next week' and then did not and again the next week and then did not. See where I'm going with this? Deb 's own statements were confusing and contradictory but if we remove all her lawyers, past and present , said since that , it's made it seem MUCH worse. It's the media and the family's own LAWYERS who are making them appear so guilty? Yes Deb did herself no favors with her statements about drinking, timeline, black out etc, but that really only makes her look careless and negligent. Isn't it the lawyers going back and forth and issuing lots of NON statmenents that have made her look more GUILTY?
And if so , is that accidental? Won't JOE T look like that much more skilled and awesome an attorney if he can get her acquitted from the edge of the abyss, where he may have put her himself?edit on 19-11-2011 by schmae because: (no reason given)
It was brought to my attention that the Jon-Benet Ramsey case time-line has much in common with this Irwin case. I'm going to look into it and see what I can find in similarities.
Okay? You are wasting all of our time, and you have FAR PASSED the point of redeeming yourself IN MY OPINION.

Look it up. "Massive searches", several cities involved, several counties involved, the Chicago Tribune reporting, fliers and pictures plastered all over the midwest. And you are implying that this litte police department is all on their own. I'm not going to do your homework for you. I'm not going to argue with you either.
And I reserve the right to challenge every post you submit that contains misrepresentation..and disinformation.

So curious how are you reading/hearing this? Just which teen do you believe this to be? (1) The teen that heard it alledgedly from Jersey's mouth? (2) The teen that reported hearing this from a friend that heard it from Jersey? (3) Someone else?
Thanks,
*Edit the only way this makes sense to me is if the teen was told this before the crime.... If Jeresy had preknowledge of it... In that light his quote is kind of interesting in what it doesn't say...

He acknowledged discussing the possibility the Irwin neighborhood handyman named Jersey could be involved.
"I told someone, I was like (expletive), Jersey was the kind of person where you could say here, here’s $300, take care of this baby, and he would have done it," he said. "That’s all I’ve said. I haven’t seen Jersey since weeks before all this happened actually."
Teen says a woman from either police or Irwin's legal team has already interviewed him: "She came up asking the same (expletive). I told her the same thing."

Rugen: Has anybody from the Bradley/Irwin family, Stanton, or Tacopina, visited with you about what you know?
Wright: If I had any information, believe me, I'd put it on blast. I'm not in this for money. Just wanting to do anything and everything in my power to help. Nope. Short and Short. That's about it .
Rugen: Cyndy Short, or a detective for them?
Wright: Cyndy Short and her sister Mary K.
Rugen: Is her sister Mary an attorney?
Wright: I spoke with Mary K many times, and she brought her sister, Cyndy the last time I spoke with her in person.
Rugen: When was that?
Wright: I'm not sure. I'll check her business card. Be right back… "Mary K. Poirier. Mitigation Specialist. The McCallister Law Firm, P.C." That was a few days before moving out of the house.
Rugen: Are you sure about the date on that? Because wasn't Cyndy Short no longer representing the family a few weeks before you moved out? Didn’t you move out last week?
Wright: Yes, they were still working, even though they were not on the investigation any more.
Rugen: Did they say why?
Wright: It was the right thing to do.
Contrary to that -"they just want their photos in the paper" bull#.
I was going to post a few days ago that I was really disgusted with Short because she had to make such a huge media deal about "still trying to find Baby Lisa even though i'm off the case...." I thought she was just trying to take on the martyr role and she probably finished the media interview and never once thought about Baby Lisa again. But here we find (if Megan is to be believed and I don't see what the benefit would be to Megan to lie about Short visiting her) that Short is behind the scenes investigating.....that says SO much to me about her character....I take back my past judgements of her. If she indeed was looking for kudos....she would be putting herself much more in the spotlight....wonder if she's found anything worthwhile yet?

Wow..isn't that illegal for her to go fishing like that now that she is off the case..?
Hmmm..makes you wonder why she decided to do this case pro bono ?..why she got kicked off?..and why shes still poking her nose in it ? ..and is she even allow to tamper with possible witnesses in that way?
hasn't there been enough witness tampering ?..
what is going on here ..and why?
Witness tampering is harming or otherwise threatening a witness, hoping to influence his or her testimony. In the United States, the crime of witness tampering in federal cases is defined by statute at 18 U.S.C. § 1512, "Tampering with a witness, victim, or an informant". The punishment for such an offense is up to 20 years if physical force was used or attempted, and up to 10 years if physical force was only threatened. The tampering need not have actually been successful in order for it to be criminal.
