This is interesting. From what we have been showed and have seen on live views, there was forensic evidence taken. As far as the questions about the cars and the shoes, I guess we will not know until the case is resolved (if there are no orders prohibiting the releasing of information). Unless someone here has been working with the local police and FBI, we can only speculate if the two items above were probed.

We have a much smaller police force here, who has the foresight to take samples, in the hopes of ruling things out one would presume. And this case is not resolved. That police department went around and got video tape, from other communities in the hope of finding this child. I asked many pages ago if KCPD made this effort, and have been told many times since then that this suggestion was foolish (my characterization) yet having been told that police did look at video from say the Airport might give credence to the fact that Lisa was not on a plane?

It appears that at least one reporter went around and checked video tape from gas stations in the area and found something. That that person found something suggest that this **might** be an area that KCPD choose not to explore. Again an apparent contrast in this case with another child abduction...

There is actually a missing black girl right now named Jahassey , pronounced JESSI, that I've been following a bit as well. It's very sad. Very early in this thread we addressed this and it was asked if only little blue eyed blond babies make the news. The little blue eyed blond baby boy this week who was beaten to death by his mother didn't make the news. Because of a PENN STATE child rape scandal that is dominating the news. I didn't see ONE blip on national news about baby Tyler Dashers' death. Did anyone? So it's not the skin color or age of a child that determines whether or not they get air time. It's whether or not it's a slow news day or a sensational enough case to waste the media's time reporting on. TKS MEDIA !

Forgive me for butting in here but I think I see why David responded the way he did. In your post you comment about the boys' interviews being delayed several times as if the lawyers were the reason for the delay. They were not, the FBI was the reason for the delay. So by stating that about the interview delays making them appear more guilty it is bringing LE into the post since they were the delay not the lawyers.

It was brought to my attention that the Jon-Benet Ramsey case time-line has much in common with this Irwin case. I'm going to look into it and see what I can find in similarities.

I see no similarities at all with these two cases.

I strongly believe that any street people who have info(homeless circles)..will either be bought off.. or scared of the consequences of stepping into the spotlight with info..

After all who wants everything they say..their past dug up. thrown back in their face.. dragged through the slime by the media and the public as well as prosecuting attorneys.

They have to implicate friends which may not want them to as well..

With this case its like being thrown to the vultures an dissected piece to piece..not to mention your family and friends.

I'm beginning to think that when the press calm down and get sick of this story, THEN we might find out what happened to baby Lisa. This -putting people on the world stage- thing, hounding them, surrounding their homes, and calling non-stop is something that's feared by most people, I think. Contrary to that -"they just want their photos in the paper" bull#.

I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

The page I linked is now populated with a story, rather than just the "Skeleton" page as it was put by the reporter. The news is reporting it like they found the teen in question and asked the teen if they could confirm what was said by the lawyers. The following is from the news article:

He acknowledged discussing the possibility the Irwin neighborhood handyman named Jersey could be involved.

"I told someone, I was like (expletive), Jersey was the kind of person where you could say here, here’s $300, take care of this baby, and he would have done it," he said. "That’s all I’ve said. I haven’t seen Jersey since weeks before all this happened actually."

The way the article is written, it looks like NBC is saying they may have found the "Male Teen Friend" the girl heard the story from. This being the person supposedly hearing it from the handyman himself.

If this was the real person, it looks like it could have been mistranslated by the girl. Like the game where you tell someone something and they tell it to someone, and when it comes back to you it is completely changed.

I was thinking about this today after reading through some of Megan's interviews. Something I kind of glossed over at first but was thinking about today...in the back of my mind. As soon as you posted this IWOH, it triggered what had stuck out to me in Megan Wright's interview. Did anyone else notice this near the end of the interview

And now this teen stating a woman questioned him...perhaps Short? I don't know if there are any women on the legal team currently...unless they are assistants to Picerno.

I was going to post a few days ago that I was really disgusted with Short because she had to make such a huge media deal about "still trying to find Baby Lisa even though i'm off the case...." I thought she was just trying to take on the martyr role and she probably finished the media interview and never once thought about Baby Lisa again. But here we find (if Megan is to be believed and I don't see what the benefit would be to Megan to lie about Short visiting her) that Short is behind the scenes investigating.....that says SO much to me about her character....I take back my past judgements of her. If she indeed was looking for kudos....she would be putting herself much more in the spotlight....wonder if she's found anything worthwhile yet?

yeah..I forgot about the people wanting those 15 minutes.. or even the reward money.

Probably more that would be willing to make something up.. then those who would shy away
..but I imagine anyone knowing something , and perhaps being involved with circles that may be into a variety of illegal activities wouldn't be to eager to step forward with info...if they had some.

Good Questions. I looked up her bio at her law firm. Very interesting how she is described. If she is still searching for baby Lisa (I believe when she gave her interview after being taken off, she said she would still search as a concerned citizen), it would fit her profile at this link:
