All that shows is you are human, and as humans we can't just "turn off the tap."

I guess to do so would rob us of that humanity.

Most others are right on here, change what you can within your own world, but hope for something better is a good place to start.

I always believe the best in humanity, even if it isn't in clear view sometimes.

The message I have received is that most peopole don't care.

Thank you to the people who care.

I was able to give my daughter a real open minded upbringing. She's my pride and joy. LOL and she's your age

I've always been a deep thinker and knew long before she was born how I wanted to raise her if she ever came to be, just as you do. It is possible even in these days and times. The secret is to keep and open interested line of communication. Pick your No's carefully so they understand that there is a valid reason when you say no. Have fun with them, learn to listen to the music they like. Keep the knee jerk responses to a minimum because you don't want them to feel they can't come to you when they really need you.

We have a saying among our group "the impossible is what we do."

Anytime someone says it can't be done it only takes one with the right frame of mind to set the ball rolling, and usually as one ripples after another it gets done quickly.

I try to teach people that helping each other, believing in each other gets things done, hence the ripple effect.

With anything we want in life, its the same, help one, help another, another helps another, and so on.

We're taught to be selfish. taught to think of only ourselves, and it's going to take a monumental shift in attitude to change the world, but like a ripple it can be done, it's just a matter of it becoming a habit.

A small thing you can apply to your life is take your car. Now find another car and see how many you see in one day, you'd be surprised how many you wouldn't normally see because it isn't yours. Now do the same with people. Change that habit past what you can't see and you'll open to an entirely new world.

Keep dropping stones people, keep making ripples.

What can you, as a human, do?

Just be who/what you are. But of course, to do that, you must first find out and choose who you are/will be. Then you can really be and things begin to flow more smoothly.

Humans hate and kill each other.

Humans also love and birth each other.

The planet is dying, many people are starving, and it is all hate hate hate.

The planet is not dying anymore than everything else is dying too because dying is natural. The planet will be fine, hurt, damaged, but nothing that cannot be healed eventually. It's only the transitioning suffering of these crucial times, the pain of transformation and metamorphosis.

We will never be able to save ourselves or the planet because of hatred.

No need for "salvation", dear. Nothing is lost, nothing is condemned. This is just part of a fuller, richer experience. You will... "survive" it, don't worry.

Yes, but you could also stimulate your Love instead and apply it unconditionally to your "dying" world and its "hateful" humans. Don't you see... the opportunity?

I think it is unlikely that the OP genuinely feels the way he claims he does, anyway. His true attitude seems to be ‘my way or the highway’. For example, he takes a male chauvinist view of female employment and thinks Muslims in non-Muslim countries have no right to self-determination. Oh, and he doesn’t like Greeks either.

A sectarian racialist who wants to turn women back into chattels cannot possibly be very concerned about the welfare of his fellow humans – aside, I suppose, from the small minority he approves of.
