Im going to bed, this is pointless, I am desperately trying to figure out how an adult can not think that a toddler dressed up as (possibly) the worlds most famous prostitute (in popular culture) could not be wrong. God help us.

i couldn't copy and paste, but please follow link and see the second full paragraph where she discusses how the judges loved it... and further down where she says she is 3, but if she was 10 she wouldn't have thought of doing that... what the hell does it matter? like an earlier poster said, 3 is even worse since she has no idea what is wrong, and since her mom and the rest of the psycho's advocate it, she thinks what she is doing is correct... truly sad what reality tv thinks is acceptable..

I don't know who the bigger idiot here is. The parent that would dress their daughter like that and let the child think that this is "cute", or the judges who are smiling and laughing. This "anything for ratings" crap is nonsense.

If youve seen Lady Gaga recently on the cover of a major magazine, you will see beauty. Why? Because she is wearing no make-up and actually resembles an adult female (a pretty one a that). Its a fresh change from her normal clowny, over made up face and outfit.

When will woman appreciate their natural beauty and tech their daughters about it?

These toddler pageants are sick. How could a parent think dressing their toddler to look like a sexy adult female is cute and entertaining I find it absolutely repulsive. Let the kid be a kid. These mothers are living their life fantasy of being a model through their kid.

My personal opinion is these toddler pageants are just entertainment fantasy for pedophiles.

As far as jailing the mother? There are probably a few hundred people involved with the producing, directing, distribution, publication, advertising and writing of that show. It takes a very large group such as mentioned to even put out a show. And then too...a network or company full of investors and providers and advertisers etc who all participate in getting that show out, and they mau be in New York and LA. and elsewhere all working on it..

If you have a portfolio of stocks say in a small retirement folder say (I do have s small one worth very little)...then you probably have $$$ invested in some company or collection of companies that put out that show.

To think the mother should be locked up? Yes, perhaps...bu the way thing are...another 1000 mothers and their little girls are waiting in the wings for one to fall. Society's attitudes would have to change. And as long as it all involves all those people and their jobs and paychecks and stock positions in the worldwide market...its just not going to happen.

Interesting though.

If a father is in public and at a park with his young daughter, and he takes photos of her for the family album, and there are other kids there and a parent complains, this father can be charged with the sort of crime that doesn't go away easily... for taking inocent photos, because there are creeps out there who do get off on it.
