Not really. Is everything supposed to benefit the child in some way other than her simply enjoying herself? Are kids not allowed to just have fun? Unless you can explain what the harm is, answering with your question makes it sound like you think she should be in a coal mine being productive and saving for her college education instead of ever just playing.

Kids like to play. It does not always offer them some grand benefit to do so. That is the best part of being a kid.

I don't even think these parents are terrible people, I think some of them are living in a box, so immersed in this type of lifestyle that they don't see the bigger picture. In this day and age of all types of child exploitation and sexualisation, as a parent, I don't think it's a very smart way to go about raising a child. However, that is my personal opinion.

It is fitting that the child is dressed as a prostitute, because that is how the parents see their child.
You exploit your child, teach them to exploit themselves.
