Isn't that the more relevant and pertinent question which everybody should be asking ?
I guess not. Backwards is really forwards, and up is really down.
As long as every adult has the ''raaaght'' in the ''Carnstatooshun'' to exploit and abuse their child in the USA, then everything is hunky-dory, I
suppose. $$$

I don't agree with pageants for little girls. But there's a lot of things I don't agree with about how parents are parenting today. But this one
instance is being blown entirely out of proportion, IMO.
Beauty pageants for young children are disgusting, and, yeah, this example isn't that aberrant in the overall scale of the creepy objectification of
children that occurs in the US, but I am genuinely stunned that a show such as this is actually being shown on TV.
Crazy days.

Behave yourself.
Parents who neglect the necessities, responsibilities and obligations which they are expected to provide for their offspring, become everyone's
business.
Once again,
Children are not the property of their parents.
A child is an individual human being; not an extension of a parent's ego.
Children are the property of the society which they are born in to, and if some ''parents'' can't raise them properly, then society will, correctly,
step in to make sure that these young, impressionable minds are raised in a healthy environment, far away from their ''parents''.
You're even trying to twist this subject into a ''mind your own business'' issue, and shamelessly exploiting the populist, ''mah rights - yeehaw''
mentality which is all too pervasive on ATS.
Poor show.
