Why are you repeating everything I've said?

it's called quoting a message in order that the reply can be read in context easily without having to search what they are about.

It's like research and recognising credible evidence - a basic tool for conveying information that you might like to get some more practice on

Used to be you could talk to any city/county/state/contract worker provided they spoke English and even if they didn't you could plod along and communicate. People were open about what they were doing because there was no reason not to be. I certainly never heard of a city/county/state/contract worker calling the police because they were asked a question. There are plenty of situations where employees are instructed not to answer a reporter's questions and are told to refer all inquiries to (fill in the name & number.) No one calls the police unless there's a crime.

People call the police all the time if they fear someone is acting suspiciously or harrasing them. they call teh police about all sorts of trivia and it wastes a lot of money

A public employee calling the police because he feels he is being harrassed by someone who is stopping him doing his job properly, asking repetitive questiosn, not listening to the answers seems perfectly reasonable.

You start harrasing city employees they are going to become fearful of you - congratulations - that's a good way to ensure you have a civil dialogue.....not!

Edit to add: I couldn't find any notices about weed spraying in RI on the web - the RI DoT website is horribly slow!

Then why are they obviously wasting all of their super-secret, and presumably super-expensive chemicals on those poor roadside weeds?

So they forged documents and trumped up some uniforms so they could bring their state sponsored progrom of death down on those innocent weeds?

Would you guys stop it?

Dude, seriously, I am afraid someone is going to call the police if I don't say thank you at the check out line.

We Americans are SICK AND TIRED of TSA and (note carefully)> TSA-LIKE tyrrany in this country. We have had it up to here. It's degrading, and from every which way you turn in society, is this Orwellian nightmare of tyrrany. Americans are sick and tired of it.

You asked for it America. And by refusing to see the results of your requests and trying to point the finger at jabberwockies such as 'ChemTrails', you will continue to suffer for it.

You must realize that we do this to ourselves by consensus.

Exteriorizing our responsibility for the way we treat one another by pointing at phantoms will get us NOWHERE.

fast.

We are the TSA. All of us. Lopping off one of our members to get away from our own sickness is....

Well you tell me.

Yep - it's getting pretty bad.

But as you obviosuly realise and others don't, it is a symptom of your society being litigious and just a little bit looney, and getting worse

I have a sister in the US - if it wasn't for the good pay she'd be out of there like a shot - as it is her & her husband are forever looking for jobs "overseas" t oget away from the lunacy, but they are specialists & not so many places where they can both get a job close to each other....

I was sucked into jury duty the other day, and the case was some old lady suing her neighbor, because she claimed that their dog pushed his face through their fence when she walked by, and when his wet nose touched her hand, it scared her and made her fall and hurt herself. You can't make this stuff up. And people wonder why nobody wants to talk to anybody? Seriously people... Who needs a shadow government to screw things up... We've done a fine job all on our own.

The debunking team on here refuses to grasp that, my problem with the situation in the videos is authoritarian tyrrany, in the form of calling the cops just for asking -legitimate- questions. Over weed whatsh**?

Well for one thing no crime was being committed so law enforcement has no reason to stay after they checked out, because they have better things to waste time on.

Secondly if the worker wants to tell a reporter anything they will. You have seen some local news reports about things that are bad, correct? So now this worker says something to the reporter and BLAM you have a report about how we are being poisoned, but now can you grasp that?

If you will notice in the back of the truck "FMC"...that's a chemical company that makes insecticides, etc. Visit their website for more details. There is a FMC plant near where I live. Hope that helps.

Also use to be you didn't have lawyers filling the airwaves with commercials, trying to draw in clients looking for any excuse to sue somebody. Think about it... Do you think they're going to say... "Hey, how ya doin'... Oh yeah, we're just driving down the road spraying this weed killer all over the place. Make sure you take some good deep breaths in, then go straight home and call Larry H Parker". Come on.

Those employees are only going to get called to testify, they're not going to be sued. Pesticides are dangerous. Roundup can be used to kill trees. People have a right to know what they're breathing and handling and what their pet's paws are walking on and what their noses are in. They have a right to know what's on the lawns in parks where their children are playing. Monsanto claims classified and the only way they reveal information is by court order. Even DuPont admits error after health effects are noticed and makes good to the victims. Not Monsanto.

Yeah - I know what you mean. And the ugly partner of all this secrecy resulting in tyranny is the con man (or woman.) It's happened alot more than you might think because a lot of it doesn't get reported. Someone steps in and says they are so and so, hush hush, very secret and walks out with all the passcodes etc. after showing papers and I.D. How can anyone really know who anyone is anymore? It's a sick situation.

And the "reporter" was told - you have had that repeated to you several times and even noted it yourself.

Why do you persist with the canard that you don't know, or someone doesn't know, what was being sprayed?

Although I know your post was well intentioned I wanted to bring to light that FMC is the manufacturer of the spray rig.

If you look closely you will see that it is, indeed, a government, Dept. of Transportation vehicle. They just happen to be using an FMC rig and probably have a contract.

Also the name of the Glyphosate product manufactured by FMC is 'Cadet' and not RoundUP. Since these are State employees and equipment we would have to see who Rhode Island gets their herbicide from.

You stop misunderstanding. How do you think bombs get placed anywhere. People don't just go in and say "I'm here to situate a bomb." Without a handout there isn't any way to know what they're spraying. Calling the police is unhelpful. Their activities are suspicious because they don't just say they don't know anything - call the office. That's what everybody says. Either they don't speak English - call the office or they don't know anything - call the office. Anything else is suspicious.

So you are really suggesting that these guys got dressed up and grabbed their forged documents and sallied forth into broad daylight to begin their extermination program against....

The weeds.

You can clearly see at the beginning of the video that that is what these guys are doing, killing weeds, and just stop there. But we have been hanging around picking through the fine threads of this silly video in the hopes that you guys will cry uncle and stop being silly.

I appreciate that we have all been lied to horribly and we have a lot to fix but this is reallllly stretching things and in fact carries us all off in to realm of purposelessness.

And that sucks.

No, it is a really good question.

In many ways RoundUp has become synonymous in the American lexicon with 'Weed Killer'.

So if we were to find out that Rhode Island actually does use Cadet and not RoundUp then we would have to question whether or not the spray guy was generalizing or wrong.....

or lying.

And all because LuxorDelphi won't give it up. There is your crack in the dyke, LD, ready to call Rhode Island tomorrow?

I wasn't actually able to hear the guy say Roundup in the video. Roundup doesn't have a lot of market share or even a market left anymore. I think it's up to some 22 states that now have super weeds completely resistant to Roundup. Also the Chinese made a designer Roundup that they sold for alot less and took alot of the market away from Monsanto. Strange that Rhode Island would still be using Roundup when cheaper has been available and super weeds that nothing can kill are the result and there are currently budget restraints.

Also, uniforms are cheap and work orders can be laser printer forged and unless this spraying is defense or national security classified, there should have been a community advisory. The city or county or state via council men and women would have approved the funding for this and they answer to their respective constituents that elected them.

In years passed I recall mailings, door to door advisories, news bulletins etc. etc. prior to any spraying with the usual blah blah of how safe and what precautions to take i.e. pets indoors etc. etc. But hey, as Americans, what we really need is more secret stuff going on with veiled threats of arrest for even asking.
edit on 24-8-2011 by luxordelphi because: correct spelling constituents and one etc.

Why weren't you able to hear the guy say "roundup" ?....he said it!

Have you ever used a weed killer?.....ever?

Did you ever send out "mailings" before you used it?

Did you go "door to door" to advise your neighbours what you were doing?

Most ridiculous thread on ATS at the moment!

And here I am in it, As usual.

Any point that LuxorDelphi is hoping to make by saying that He/She cannot hear the spray guy say RoundUp is rendered moot by the fact that the 'Reporter Guy' with the camera clearly repeats 'RoundUp' after the guy says it.
