What makes people think a Martians head would look anything even similar to ours? Skeptical.

It's a friggin rock. How many threads do I have to come to, stating that most of the posters that post in them are victims of the autism?

How many of those threads do you actually read?

This one is only 6 pages FFS

And the jokes are OBVIOUS even if you just scan it.

Your right..I call this rock..."Hide behind the rock, there's a beast over there"

There's 3 more pictures of these rocks as the spirit rover is moving away, and taking images as it rolls...Want to see them, and see how these rocks look from different angles ? It's up to you

Regardless of the situation, someone should inform NASA, throw the input in there and see if they can actually have their 15 billion dollar camera/nikon get a closer look at that beast. Although with further investigation they'd probably report it as a rock and leave out that it's our missing link and the mystery of how we came to be will continue.
Maybe like family guy its a ROCK LOBSTER.
or a rock monster.

Theres a photo of a rock that looks like a dead butterfly....

So we should automatically assume there are butterflies on Mars?

I bought the main point of ats was intelligent discussion and denying ignorance.

Can someone please tell me when the new creedo is to entertain the absurd? This thread, being more than 1 page long, is an obvious insult to ats and its membership. But hey....clicks are clicks I guess....

I see that the sooper serious science police have arrived to scold everyone for their lack of proffessionalism in thread content and replies. As the OP ifeel it is my responsibility to apologize and say "its obviuosly just a rock" however I would still encourage input of a serious scientific nature. . It still looks like a head sticking out of the ground!

You should be sorry.
And WTF??????????????????. If its just a rock and we call it a rock, well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, what serious input do you expect other than people calling it a $#@^ing rock ?????????????? ITS A ROCK

It still looks like a head sticking out of the ground!

Its still a ROCK. And the only conclusion is that there are rocks on mars.

I wonder what the effects of space travel would have on Tequila... sounds like an intense party to me!

Seriously though, why are people getting uptight over this thread?

Have a sense of humor.

The thread was to discuss all that we see, and that is exactly what we are doing. Enjoy it.

That's my point exactly. Why are some folks lacking in the humor dept.? If you don't like it go to another thread.

Are you kidding? We learned that there are ROCKS on MARS. That's, like, a major scientific discovery!
This thread is of vital importance to the furtherance of our knowledge as a species. First, rocks on Mars. What next, water in the oceans?
