It appears I stand corrected on my 2 helicopter speculation. I hadn't heard there were 4 helicopters until today. Since the news broke that they had killed and captured him, the official story the media was pushing kept saying 2 helicopters.

We all know Osama Bin Laden has been dead for a long time... only sheeple buy this new story...
This is a staged event to cover Obama hacked up PDF BC and his fraudulent social security numbers.

Osama Bin Laden has died several times....

Speculation.

White house makes the call on releasing the photos

Panetta: Bin Laden photo may be eventually released, but White House makes final call

He added, however, that “I don’t think you have to convince the world because of the DNA and all of the other proof that we have.”

They claim to have proof but aren't showing it to the public.

meaning they will not be releasing the photos.
Yet.

You believe governments words that he died during the raid?

Are you going to believe every word of the government ? if so where are the wmds in iraq?

i noticed you joined just this year, you are strongly defending the government.

And you believe he died in 2001, with absolutely no proof. Is that really any better?

In fact, I'd say theres more evidence he died in the raid than in 2001.

Well, by all means, present it. Because the government hasn't...

Ok, after years of lurking on ATS I've decided to create an account and participate. So forgive me if I'm not yet accustomed to the rules since this is my first-ever post.

I was compelled to join in because it dawned on me today:
What if Bin Laden is alive?

Think about it...
if he was captured alive, they couldn't tell the world they have him. No freakin WAY.
There would be hostage situations across the globe demanding his release. That stuff that went on where they took over a school somewhere a few years ago in Bosnia or Chechnya, wired the place with explosives & started throwing children out of windows after they raped them... that would have been happening in Iowa. EVERYWHERE until Bin Laden was released.
There would be stuff going on globally that would make a Saw movie look like a Disney flick till they got him back.
Like the family slaughtered recently in Israel in the middle of the night. That would be going on in suburbs of America.

I read a news article today that said only computer equipment was taken from the compound. No people. No prisoners taken.
Really?
Do you really think they were going to leave people behind who may have information about future terror attacks???

Saying they dumped his body in the ocean is a great smokescreen.
Nobody knows he's not dead = no rules.
They can do what they want to get what they need out of him, and don't have to risk the worldwide bleeding hearts that would cry for a trial or Geneva Convention protection for this worm.

Nobody waited to show pics of a ruffled up captured Saddam.
The US wanted bragging rights.

So why aren't they proving it yet with pictures.

I think he might be alive.
And I think they took other people from the compound with them too.

Personally, I hope I'm right.
A kill shot in a quick raid is too easy of an out for this worm.
Take him, hide him, & squeeze him off the grid. That's what I say.

Well then present the evidence, because the government doesn't plan on releasing the photo and tonight Denis McDonough said there was no reason to release the photos.

I don't see any reason to release the photo.

The "its a fake - Photoshop" threads have already started. Why bother.

-Well know a covert mission was carried out. A local in Abottobad even tweeted about it in real time.

-A special helicopters with stealth characteristics was even left behind due to mechanical failure.

-We know no AQ officials have denied that he was killed, despite having a hell of a good reason to do so (I mean, if we didn't really get him, the President is going out on one hell of a limb).

Not absolute proof, but lends more credit to it being true than anything that's been presented that he died in 2001. What proof is there that he died in 2001? "Intel officials" speculated that he did?

I thought the government couldn't be trusted? But it's okay if it supports the conspiracy? Even if there is no proof?

Makes sense.

They didn't have enough room to take anyone, considering they have to abandon a helicopter. Everyone else was detained by Pakistan forces, though.

If he is alive...so what? He's basically dead to the world, regardless. He'll never be free. He's either living in a pineapple under the sea, or is in some CIA compound, being tortured for the rest of his life.

A twiter shouldn't be trusted as a source of information.

So huh where is the proof that bin laden had ties to saddam? and where are those WMDs in iraq?

You will believe the word of the government and the media even though they lied about every war?

I thought the government couldn't be trusted?

And i guess then you also believe that there is a global economic recovery? because thats a lie from the government as well.

It's probably more reliable and real information - - - then what I get from posters on ATS.

Here's one thing: www.foxnews.com...

There were other reports. And of course you've seen this video, posted more than once both in this thread and reposted yet again in many others this week: www.youtube.com... (and on this very page, it seems).

I'm sure there were others, but this is all I have. So far, what we have in this death is the word of a few people in our government, with a seemingly lot of contradiction.
