Opinions needed about demonic forces regarding my son who is only 7.

I am really sorry to hear that about your son. I read your post and the first two pages of the tread. I to think that you should not stop with the medical treatment, but have to say that medicine can be limited at occasions.

I have had an experience with demonic posesion. I have not had the physical torment that your son is having, but those things that you say that happen to him are quite possible. First of all about the ammonia thing that you were told of, in our area (far far away from you) we use alcoholic essence/vinegar. It is used to cast away demons. Well it is a bit to much to spill over everything...in my case i knew where to put is, so it is up to you. What i did also was drink it with water. It can help but it is far from enough.
For the preying on yourself, it is good, but it is not enough to cast demon(s) out. if your/your son's faith was strong enough you could not be possessed at the first place. So you get a "professional". i have not had a classical exorcism by the church, since i am orthodox, but something very similar. I want to tell you it can lest for quite some time (months, years)...but is better than to sit and do nothing. It helped me.
I want to point out that i don't think that i am right, and maybe is just medically and strongly suggest to continue with the medical treatment.
For those that think i am crazy or something, i appreciate your opinion but keep it for yourself and don't respond me on this tread; thank you. I was just trying to help. Take care!

Demons are real and your priest will not think you are crazy. It is common for demons to haunt people do to their being occult activities in their family or due to the sins of their ancestors.

Please pay attention to what I say. What you described is all related to nutrition deficiencies. The positive thing you are doing is the food intake is organic. Make sure drinking / in food water is clean if possible from Artisan well. When you go to Pediatric ask for testing his Iodine. There are 3 Labs in USA, don't rely on Pediatric testing as their testing is not accurate. If test show 25mg or less, your son is low. If you need to fortify the deficiency make sure you give him vitamins with it as Iodine alone is not going to work by itself. You should see improvement on daily basis. If you run into dead end, Please take your son to one of those licensed facilities that practice Chinese/Indian type of herbs minerals and vitamins. There is a difference in Iodine used externally vs internally.
Rugal solution available on Ebay is one that can be used internally. My wife and daughter suffered more that 15 years in the hands of these idiots. What I went through, I can see your pain. Don't waste your time on religious things. Those are very very rare.

I am educated in many neurological aspects of medicine. It does sound that a chemical imbalance is suspect. Also, there are many conditions that will not readily show up on many PET, CAT and MRI scans.

i only read the first page but i can already tell you that ats is full of belivers and skeptics and you will get both kinds of answers. whether it be supernatural or realistic, there is a serious probelm with your child. I believe he has schizophrenia, but that is my opinion and should not weigh that much because like just about everyone on here were not experts.

I'm so sorry to hear about this, however, please stop entertaining the idea there are paranormal sources at work here. That is not the way to go, and will only make matters worse.

At seven, your son is at the age of "early onset", or "childhood onset" when schizophrenia is diagnosed. It's typically then, or else later in the early twenties. With the history of his father, you may have your answer, and are simply having a bout of denial. The clinician will want to rule out some other causation possibilities, because it is fairly uncommon, but not that rare.

There is treatment available, and with a good regime of pharmacotherapy, he will be able to function within normal limits much of the time. It will be up to you to keep him grounded, and help to calm him during periods of fright and confusion.

Keep a cool head, and do what's best for your son. Improvements for the treatment of schizophrenia are made regularly, as it is something that is fiercely studied. I expect in the next couple of decades there will be a cure for it, but even now there is effective treatment.

I'm just throwing this out there, and yet I don't know if a seven year old child would even be calm enough to do this, but have you thought about seeing a hypnotist? I know that not everyone can be hypnotized, but if it works on your son, you might find out more information on what's going on.

First off, Congratulations on continuing to talk to a doctor.

Now then, While working in tandem with a doctor, you decided to go with a priest. Interesting choice really, I personally would talk to some local paranormal investigators for the full works (meter readings, whatever else)..but don't just pick some flunkys from school...do a bit of research. Perhaps some native american tribes live by or whatnot. I mean, if your going to invite in potential spiritual aspects of this with a priest (a what, 1500 year experience), why not go with the seasoned vets of paranormal society. just saying perhaps try all different types of guns verses the cross.

Here is a different perspective...your son is having physical symptoms, also as a sidenote is seeing these other beings (maybe). Whats to say that said entities are not trying to alleviate the physical issues.

You said you were consulting a doctor and running tests..thats good. If you said you weren't, then this entire post would have been about telling you to see one. But, since you already are, then just continue to do so no matter what you try. My personal opinion is that some traits of the father may be passed down here...however, it could be more physical symptoms mixed with the imagination of childhood (knocking...what potential physical symptom would cause a knocking sound? )

Make sure to tell your doc all the symptoms the child is percieving, such as talking, voices, etc. Also, you have to walk a tightrope in listening to your kid, letting him know that you believe that he believes he is hearing it, but also not encouraging it too much (should all of this be his imagination.)..ask him how he feels when he is hearing stuff...if his vision is cloudy...if he gets a bit dizzy, or tired, etc...

and for the hell of it, set up some security cams and other such things to see if you strike gold and see some "magical" stuff going on now and then.

If you sincerely believe this is demon possession, or oppression, then do an exorcism. Any "born again" chrisitan is capable of castinig out a demon. It doesn't take a priest. If that doesn't work, then it is a medical issue. Has he been scanned for a brain tumor? Is all of his lab work in normal limits? Something is missing here.

How is your son doing now? Is he still suffering with the migraines? I should imagine they are very distressing for him as they can make you feel very unwell.Have the medical profession found any causes as of yet?

I myself suffer from migraines. They happen right-sided and feel like an axe has been slammed into my head. Sleep usually clears them (luckily for me). While this may sound like I get off lightly, they have been attributed as a cause to a stroke that I had 5 years ago (along with the contraceptive pill). There are many types of migraines and they can induce all manner of symptoms. They are not likely to show up on an MRI. This doesn't mean that you don't have them. After my stroke I went through a period when I would see things that weren't there, I felt very disturbed and confused and like I couldn't process things clearly (it passed as I got progressively better). I felt like I had the flu coming on when I had my stroke and sometimes with bad migraines (achy, everything seems to loud and bright, foggy head). What I would say, from my experiences of both migraine and stroke is that neurological conditions have wide ranging effects. Maybe this is similar for your son?

Someone mentioned acupuncture as a cure. One summer it was really muggy (low pressure is a trigger) and I had a migraine that continued for a month. Nothing would shift it, so I agreed to let my acupuncturist friend do a treatment. 20 mins later, after only four needles (one in each hand and foot) and it had cleared! Definitely worth a try. Acupuncture also rebalances our energy and clears negativity, so has this benefit as well.

Reading between the lines, and without wishing to sound judgemental as you are obviously a caring and concerned mum, it sounds like your son is a very sensitive chap. Perhaps he picks up on moods and situations around him (whether of this realm or not) and they effect him? Perhaps he is internalising worry about his dad or picking up on your concern about everything (including him). I know I can be like this and that during worrying times I can be prone towards more migraines.

You are his mum, and know him better than anyone. What do you think would reassure him and make him feel more settled, at ease? I mean this both with regards to his physical symptoms and his feelings.

I don't hold any religious beliefs myself, but do believe there are positive and negative energies at work in the universe. I have had strange experiences all my life and they can be unsettling. While your son seems to be afflicted by migraines, it also seems like you have all had a difficult time of things over the years. Get a blessing if it will make you all feel more secure and it will empower you all. I burn frankincense oil when I feel unsettled by negativity (it is supposed to repel negative energy). Whether this works because it truly does this, or because I believe in it I am not sure but it makes me feel safer and that is what it is all about. Try and fill your times together with the simple things you enjoy so that you lighten the tension and shift the energy that is building- I play loud music and do a stupid dance with my son, so that we both laugh!

Anyway, I really hope that you get some answers and find some peace and balance amongst all the things your family is contending with.

Clearly the prayer and whatnot didn't work already in initial case.
You can't endlessly bandage a leg for a broken arm..its the wrong treatment.

And if you feel your being challenged and tried like never before (never before of course meaning people hunted and crusified literally...fed to lions..etc. If you feel like this is the most epic christians have ever been persecuted, I would consider the whole ego thing for awhile. I won't go on about this too much, I am used to self rightous christians sitting on golden thrones moaning about their lot in life.

Ok guys... for starters, I'm not a religious nut. I'm Catholic and so are my 2 boys. But I'm not over the top and keep my religion primarily to myself unless asked.

He truthfully didn't remember committing the crimes. That's just my opinion though. So fast forward 5 years. He is COMPLETELY fine now. I believe he rid what ever was following him around or influencing him. It's like night and day. But... I feel in my gut (as crazy as it may sound) that whatever was around him, is now around my son. (our son).
I'm not one of those who believes that every physical ailment is a result of Satan. But for the past 2 years, my son has been suffering from migraines. Each time he gets one, it's worse. Throbbing headache on one side of the head. Sometimes the pain moves. Severe vomiting and diarrhea. Then the past 2 or 3 times he's had one, he gets the aura. But the aura's last even after the headache is gone. Sometimes for days. He sees lights, shapes, and dots. The last one (on friday the day he was suppose to be baptized) he woke up with a migraine and then had a seizure. He lost control of all his motor functions and couldn't speak very well. But! They ran every test under the sun and then some and couldn't find a single thing wrong. Not even a little off. So the hospital was really baffled. They sent us to Childrens Hospital for more testing and still no signs of ANYTHING. We have an appointment with a pediatric neurologist in a few weeks. But every once in a while, I will catch my son almost reacting to someone or something that isn't there. He will laugh. One day he told someone to stop knocking. He had the weird look in his eye like his father use to get. This all happens around his headache issue, so I've been discounting it to that. Or I'm in denial. I think he is scared to tell me or the doctors what is going on. He is such a happy kid. Even at the hospital, he had a smile on his face and would say everything is fine.
EDIT: We have done allergy testing. Nothing but pollens and ragweed. I have him on a strict diet. No artificial anything. No msg, limited preservatives (as they are in everything) no nitrates. Basically meats (organic) fruits, veggies, and carbs. No caffeine or any other migraine trigger foods.
I sent a message to my priest about this, but he probably thinks I'm insane as I have not heard back from him. Has anyone had any experience specifically with Satanic attacks?
My aunt who is a southern baptist told me to cover everything related to my son with ammonia. Ammonia?! What would that do besides stink up the whole house?
I also don't feel that I am strong enough to ward off these things. I have read that if you don't fully cast these things away, they usually come back 3 fold. So I've been weary to do much more than pray. Opinions and shared experiences would be appreciated!

EDIT AGAIN because it seems nobody is READING the post... we have seen NUMEROUS doctors and specialists. We have had multiple MRI's performed. A CT scan and an EEG. All normal. He's not diabetic, or anything else. Perfectly normal, happy go lucky kid. I am mostly just curious about demonic forces with these types of scenarios. In NO WAY am I trying to blame satan for all the bad things in my life. Or this specific health issue. But when I take a step back, there just seems to be a lot of correlations between his father and what he went through and what my son is now going through. I will stick to what the doctors are telling us and I have not brought up anything spiritual to the doctors. I am not on here seeking medical advice! Just looking for opinions about supernatural influences. Also, my sons father and I were never married. We do not live together.

You sir need serious psychological help and counselling i suggest you get yourself a psychiatric evaluation as soon as possible, demons are not attacking your son, you are just paranoid that is all, and yes sir i think you are completely nuts, so please get help straight away and do not harm the boy, or better off give him to the child protective services until you are well again and free of your delusions.

The lights and auras you describe are common with migraines and often migraines involve no pain at all.

I'd say mixing the physical with the religious is what you need to do. Pray go through that but also seek medical help.

I forget where it's said but there is an old story:

Two Farmers are working on their fields. One of the Farmers has strong faith in God. God is going to give him a great harvest. The man prays all the time about it. When Harvest time comes he doesn't have a good harvest at all.

The other farmer is working hard very hard all the time and praying to God that this Harvest will be great. The other farmer checks his crops daily and does his best and has a great harvest.

The point is that you need faith...but you also need to set the events into motion yourself.

Did that make sense?

The thing is this, nobody on here can tell you for sure what to do because in truth we dont know that it is you that the problem is with i.e. paranoid.

So either:

1, there is nothing wrong with your son but your paranoid.

2, Your son has a medical condition which has not been picked up, that's not that uncommon. I had a pain in my left side (and still do), doctors put me under every test and found nothing. At the end I was told by one doctor that I don't have a pain

3, Demonic activity, yes I do believe in bad spirits and people with bad spirits too. Burn some "holy basil" seeds in the house to raise the vibration and get your son to drink some holy basil tea, it is safe and you can squeeze some lemon and a touch of honey.

Anyways I read through the thread and I think what I said still applys. It's always good to see a priest they can help in plenty of ways. Even if it isn't a demon attacking your son.

I know you are looking for something specific so I'll keep this short.

If it is medical it may not be something physical, but it could be cognitive/repressed memories.
It could be his brain dealing with a traumatic event that may have happened to him.
Children will typically turn people who have hurt them in some way into "monsters" or "demons".
The children I've worked with will often do this as it make it easier for them to cope and rationalizes why a "person' just like them would do something "evil" or hurtful.

Ask him to draw them, this may be able to help you on a supernatural level as well as it may give clues as to what or who this is, any repressed memories will come through, for the "demon" side of things look for symbols and maybe post them on here so someone can give your more info.

Make sure to always remind your son he can tell you anything and you will keep him safe and nothing could ever make you not love him.
Children are terrified of this.
