This time it is all or nothing in 2012! Ron, please consider a ticket with Dennis Kucinich, it will win. It will bring both major parties together, plus all the independents. It will WIN!

I had noticed a tinge of militancy from some UKIP members; though I had thought it was the BNP that were the worst offenders. I can understand the xenophobic reaction of working class Brits; some Americans share that sentiment. England, being an island so close to the 'huddled masses' in Europe - it must aggravate those fears and prejudices immensely.
The blame in America falls chiefly on Mexicans.

I don't blame people whose only desire is to provide for themselves and their families, be they immigrant or native.

I wish more people could see politics for what it really was instead of just looking for someone to blame. Even myself in the past I've fallen pray to bigotted ideas and worldviews and the sort of xenophobia which is pretty much rampant throughout Britain, albeit this was quite briefly and when I had alot of other personal problems getting me down, but the catalysts for such behaviour are everywhere, driven by the media and all of the mainstream parties are out to capitalise on them whilst at the same time failing to act either way.

The main difference between Britain and the US however is the lack of a genuine movement campaigning for civil liberties. The attitude of many over here is largely adverse to the creeping surveillance state etc, the only real opposition of said policy tends to come from the left. Socialist, communist and anarchist groups are generally the few who tend to publically declare their opposition to the nanny state we've become acustomed to, everyone else seems to have that old wartime mentality 'keep calm and carry on'.

I suppose even if there was a carbon copy of Ron Paul over here he wouldn't be given the light of day in the media and would probably just be written off by most people and would fade into oblivion. For that reason I genuinely envy the US, it's one of the few places in the world where there actually is a tradition of being committed to the limiting of government power, it's just a shame the reputation of the American people is often unfairly twisted by some bad foreign policy decisions on behalf of your government.

After Dr. Paul there will be no one left to speak for us . He's hated equally by both franchises of the same party who will both do anything to marginalize him going into 2012 so they can get back to business as usual , for Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan . Donate as heavy as possible to him if he runs because it takes money to win . Honesty isn't enough .

Every sane politician knows that what he says is the truth but still the ones in power or have significant influence keep on going to distroy the economy and good name of the US in the world.

Now....what is wrong with these people? Even if they profit from their scemes, lies and corruption they will give their children and their childrens children a country or worse...a world.... gone to pieces.....and the job to restore what generations before them have built with pride and sacrifice.

Maybe it is the easy grabbing that made them blind and delirious for money....

JFK was not stupid guy when he gave that speech about the dangers of secret societies for the health of the country. It should be forbidden for every politician or anybody receiving a government paycheck to be a member of a secret society. It should be writen in the constitution.....that would also apply for Ron Paul by the way.

Wow,,,,isn't that something..!! The danger with troublesome times is that there will surface people with all kinds of intensions and motivations to take over the controls. Hitler is such an example....First he talks the talk which everybody agrees with and then he walks the walk...as promised. What a guy.....but then when his power is secured the real agenda comes around the corner.

What I am trying to say is...It is easy for the opposition to collect all the arguments why the ruling politics failed and whip the ones responsible with it and make a public impression. The alternative is no garantee for a better future for all.....hopefully it will.

He's probably the ONLY politician in DC that says what he actually believes.
That takes integrity.

Not sure how old this is but it is the first ive seen of it, hes mainly just stating the obvious although not sure what to make of his comment that "we must escape from the madness of crowds now gathering".

I'm not even American but even I can see how much better off the US (and the world) would be with this man as president.

Hope you all do the right thing.

As good a candidate R.Paul may be, at the rate at which the US is declining 2012 may be a tad too late.
And what does he mean by escaping from the madness of crowds now gathering?

Perhaps he means crowds of elties, or crowd of angry American, or even crowds of immigrants.

I was thinking the crowds of protest in the middle east or maybe he is expecting the crowds of revolution to start to gather in the US.
Also his closing statement was we must prepare ourselves for revolutionary changes in the not too distant future, why not immediately?
Strange speach!

I like ron paul but he should not have ended it with " we should prepare for revolutionary changes in the future"

Hey
Great speech.

My only beef is that he is still a "politician".

I remain skeptical. Saviors don't come in the form of politicians.

It's VERY SIMPLE.....HE who HAS the GOLD.....PAYS THE BILLS!!!!!!

The 9 ruling families will foot the bill or get the foot in the ASSHOLE!!!
