that's the thing, though, vickey. I dont know about NZ, but in the states anytime someone points out racism, the racists generally scream back something along the lines of 'all you have is name calling', as if Racism was merely an epithet. It gives them an excellent way to avoid admitting their motivation is largely guided by bigotry and/or racism.

BTW, I'm a racist and am the first to admit it.

What's truly amazing is how the Obama lovers will put words in other peoples mouths. It's a very old pathetic habit of theirs. If their not crying racist, they put words where it don't belong. I think American liberals have been sniffing to much of something, or their new age beliefs have put them over the edge.

This explains my utter disdain for what most birthers do to represent the collective brain power of a rather large segment of our population. This explains why I find it hard to believe even they believe the stuff they say. This explains why I have so much trouble treating most of them like mature adults who care about what they are saying and give 2 #s about the truth. This is exactly why. An for you information, the legal birth certificate form is the long form with every detail about both parents, where they were born with their surnames, age of parents, the attending physician that delivered the baby, the length, weight, time and date of birth, foot print, name of hospital, what territory or state, and city, and the official state stamp.

There's no such thing as two parties, Democrat and Republican. It is just titles, for the masses, both parties are in bed with each other, and their only reason for being is to pacify the people into thinking that every time they vote, they're voting for change which never comes. Voters who still believe in the election system are like the Hamster on the running wheel, they're running like crazy but they never get anywhere.
That is how government have been controlling the masses for a very long time.
It's time to vote for an independent, and not Trump. Hopefully voting for someone that is truly for the people, and not for corporates, or for themselves.

I find it ironic that no matter what Obama does or what is revealed about him, there are always those who jump up to defend, discount and make light of anything that surfaces to prove what in fact we are seeing from the man every day. Frankly, he could be a coke snorting closet gay person that cheated on his wife, his taxes and dodged the draft, and I would overlook it if he had proved to be a good President but instead, he has proven to be the worst enemy this country has ever had. There is no point in my listing all the reasons this is true, the same people will pop up with their same BS to defend him but, I have said my piece.

I guess the birthers don't realise that the USA has recognised dual citizenship for a long time now. Its really quite irrelevant where else he has held citizenship as there is no rule or regulation anywhere that says a natural-born American (which Obama is, having been born in Hawaii) is excluded from the presidency if they ever held citizenship in another country at some point in their life.

As long as he was born in US territory he can be president. Dual-citizenship at any point in his life doesn't exclude that. Its explicitly recognised and furthermore, the USA does not recognise renunciation of citizenship so its not like he could ever have given his citizenship up in the first place and even if he did, he was still born in US territory and thus considered to be a natural-born citizen whenever he holds citizenship, which he currently does.
