Stocks plunge as Japan nuclear crisis worsens

NEW YORK – Stocks plunged Tuesday, sending the Dow Jones industrial average down almost 300 points at the opening, as the nuclear crisis in Japan intensified following a deadly earthquake and tsunami.

Oil prices fell $3.95 to $97.22 as analysts anticipated lower demand in the aftermath of the earthquake.

Is it me or how is it that as we head into the economic crisis, the middle east riots begin thus causing more damage to the stock market, then japan and its earthquake,,,more problems for the economic problem.. strange.

Is always a big sell out before a crash, right now CNBC analyst are advising that is not a good thing to buy, and I imagine why, but we know better this happen before when the economic crash two years ago.

The domino effect of Japan disaster has not hit the worlds economy fully yet.

Right now is nothing but speculators making money from the disaster.

Japan is one of the top biggest economy in the world and if people think that the nuclear disaster and natural disaster is not going to impact the US economy then they are fools.

Japan is also the second biggest holders of US debt after China.
