yes but they have said that the us is to great of a distance for the low levels thar are actually exposed right now to have any effect on the u.s.

Though this information seems a bit dubious I would urge those of you on the West Coast of Canada and America to search until you can search no more for the truth.

Why?

Because if you really believe you’re going to be getting ‘truth‘, from MSM, you’re wrong. In this case maybe deadly wrong. I mean really, are you going to put your life and the lives of your children in the hands of newsgroups that care more about the amount of hours you have in a day to spend money and Dancing with the Stars then they do reporting the ‘real truth’?

Let’s all get on the ball and find a good solid reliable news source - if there is one. ATS’ers have been up to that challenge before and pulled through with results and flying colors.

TOKYO – The U.S. Seventh Fleet says it has moved its ships and aircraft away from a quake-stricken Japanese nuclear power plant after discovering low-level radioactive contamination.

The fleet said Monday that the radiation was from a plume of smoke and steam released from the crippled Fukushima Dai-Ichi Nuclear Power Plant. The plant has been hit by two explosions since Friday's devastating earthquake and tsunami.

The aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan was about 100 miles (160 kilometers) offshore when its instruments detected the radiation. But the fleet says the dose of radiation was about the same as one month's normal exposure to natural background radiation in the environment.
