His Hawaiian birth certificate has his race listed as African and not Negro
Are you a birth certificate analyst? Do you specialize in birth certificates? I've heard this claim many times before and it holds no ground. In Hawaii the parents had the choice of choosing their race in the 60's to this day, Hawaiian authorities already stated this.
like they did in the Continental 48 states.
You know that states have the power over health certificate, hence the reasons why a birth certificate of one state would look different from others. There are different requirements from state to state.
What's more, Obama senior was not born in the United states, he was a student on a visiting visa from Kenya, he was not directly subjected to racial laws over his birth.
The reason why the Birthers and Baggers say it's fake because it has his race listed as "AFRICAN" and not "NEGRO" as it would've been listed pending he was born in the mainland and that is all that this boils down to.
He lived in the US from birth to 1967 and again from around 1971 to present so he is a legal American citizen. Sr. may've been born in Kenya but that does not mean jack squat as no American citizen by birth is above another.

My question to some of these people that think Obama wasn't born in the US is: Does it matter?
Is that where you should focus your energies? Even if it were true... There is evidence of just massive, outlandish fraud that has cost your country trillions of dollars. Should you not focus on wall-streeters and misappropriated funds by government and private contractors...
An Obama birth certificate is not going to get you anything. Uncovering and prosecuting people that have defrauded taxpayers might get you some money back....

If one was released listing his race as "NEGRO" hat more people would believe it.
Why mention Sr. if we are discussing Jr?

Would it hurt to try???
Odd, for Obama to be a Natural Born Citizen didn't both parents need to be US citizens??

Do you think the reason why it says African instead of Negro is because Hawaii became a state at the end of the civil rights movement. Terms such as Negro was seen as offensive because they associated the word Negro with the long history of slavery, segregation, and discrimination that treated African Americans as second class citizens, or worse.

Run the arguably most powerful nation on Earth for a couple of years, under constant attack - all while wearing the burden of being the first person from your race to hold the job...
Then see if it harshes your personality a bit.
Just sayin'.
ETA something on topic: I don't see where it would be an issue for somebody to refer to their birthplace and childhood home as simply "childhood home" - the extra mention of birthplace would be more out of place than the statement he gave.
IE if he went out of his way to say it, then people would point THAT fact out and accuse him of overcompensating.edit on 3/11/11 by Hefficide because: (no reason given)
So yes, it would hurt to try, it would hurt by wasting time and resources on people who made up their minds a long time ago. So the notion of him releasing his long form birth certificate will end the conspiracy and convince every single birther, that is false.

Next question:
Why are you and a few others here frantically trying to save the reputation of a president that is arguably worse than even Carter?
First of all, Carter was a realist and this didn't sit down with the flag waving rightwing that would have us believe america's greed and consumption is sustainable. Considering he left us with a $900 billion debt, and Reagan followed on to leave us with a $2.6 trillion, record breaking government deficits, I would not be so jumpy to wave Carters name around.

What a BS excuse...
Wasting time and resources??
What, to get one piece of paper??
Many times more time and resources have been WASTED concealing it.

Waste of time arguing with you..
Your stance will never change
This is a conspiracy forum buddy, people have different points of view and you will be called out over where you stand. It is not my problem that you cannot deal with this.
