Bees and many birds, bats and several insects navigate by detecting the poles and the earth's magnetic field. This is a fact and we know this.

The magnetic field moving over centuries, maybe longer, has been SLOOOOOOOW. In the past 10 years it has sped up significantly, and this we also know is a fact.

This speeding up could be enough to throw off species of animals and insects from one year to the next. This speeding up also means that the orientation of the earth's core may possibly be "wobbling" more, which is demonstrated by some very bizarre behavior in the magnetic field. Eventually, the crust of the earth has to compensate because of the pull of the sun. Solar flares and CME's effect the magnetic field of the earth, and magma is full of liquid metal, so the CME's and solar flares COULD be having an effect on all of the above.

I can't speak about the comet because I don't see the connection there, but I have been starting to see a major connection to these other events and this is one of the only things that is plausible as an explanation.

This should logically lead one to ask why the core of the Earth is moving in such a way that is causing the entire magnetic north pole to SPEED UP and move quite a ways in the last few years compared to the decades prior.

I don't think I "spun" anything, nor do the people who put stars on my post. Despicable? So I really am "deserving hatred and contempt" because of your words or beliefs on a particular subject? What an unnatural way of perceiving the world around you.

The people who died from this NATURAL disaster did not because of a "crustal pole shift"....it was an earthquake. Accompanied by tsunami. Have seen it before, will see it again.

As I said - you sit and watch this on your television or computer, desensitized to the reality of people dying. Wonder how desensitized you would be of your own friends and family dying from a NATURAL disaster... You general statements show how you value human life and those affected by NATURAL disasters: "Have seen it before, will see it again." What a robotic answer.

There is nothing "special" about it, not where it occurred!! This is to be expected. The only "shifting" of the crust is due to normal tectonic plate movement activity.

Of course there is something special about it. People were involved and died. To say that there is nothing special about this event, including pointing out where it occurred devalues the human equation and population within the effected area. The way you are seeing this is pretty disturbing: You see it only as a natural event of the earth rather then the whole picture of what it affects. Again, robotic.

Nothing at ALL to do with the poles.....

You make these claims but science speaks against you. We don't have the data yet on Japan because this just happened. How many times are you people going to run forth into battle holding the wrong end of the sword? Aren't your fingers bleeding by now? Do you still have any fingers to type with – or are you using voice recognition software?

....and, the chuckle at a "bug out bag" was directed at the inanity of how futile that would be.....in the event of an ACTUAL physical pole shift. Where the entire globe of this planet altered its axis of rotation.

For survival purposes - I think I will do everything you say people shouldn't do. So, today I am going to start looking around for a bag that I can put my wife and sons clothes in - and also some needed items such as food and water.
I am not going to argue with you about physical pole shifts - I think many people perhaps make these bags so it can up their chances of survival in any type of situation. Anything can happen from becoming a political refugee to some kind of natural disaster, chuckling at people who wish to preserve their family's and themselves only underlines your need for a reality check. Instead of relying on your government and FEMA, or the Red Cross to help you out, why not do the smart thing and prepare ahead of time? Or are you just one of those people who complain about other people asking for help but yet would expect help from others when it came down to it?

"Running away" with all you can carry in a special bag isn't going to accomplish very much, in that sort of (highly implausible) global disaster event.

Oh, that is cool. So - you have lived through something like that have you? So you know from experience

If something like a physical shift happens – who is to say how gradual the rate it can happen. You act as if people are telling you it will happen overnight rather than thousands of years. We just don't have the data – no one does. If it is a gradual effect – then yeah, bags with food, water and clothes would remove a person and his/her family from the area of disaster. You assume that people are speaking of a Hollywood style pole shift. To me, you are trying to counteract this subject matter in the same way you view others as pushing various ideas forward.

On a side note, we have such a small amount of documented seismic data guys - this pattern has more than likely been happening hundreds of thousands / millions of years. We need to stop thinking that the last 50 - 100 - 150 years is the only notable history we have.

There is clearly something going on, it's just hard to prove, but you know what you know.

Science is great, but it still can't predict an earthquake, so it's not the all knowing thing to go by.

firstly i never sed it was all connected...i was merely pointing out all of the strange things that are happening on our planet, people have a habit of saying "oh everything is fine nothing to see here etc" but when u put it all down together its NOT normal.

now there is a theory that cme,s are connected to earthquakes here on earth, also the supermoon there are theorys that it could cause issues here on earth, the magnetic pole shift could be a cause of all the bee, bird and fish deaths as well....

but the point of my coment was maybe this "comet" is going to be a harbinger of something disasterous, as for the bug out bag well, id rather have things that i didnt need thean need what i didnt have...if u think im a fruitcake so be it i dont care...

Thank goodness and kudos to those of you that wonder "if" and ask questions. What kind of world would we live in if we all just believed what was widely accepted and no one thought to think of new ideas not yet examined. We would still probably believe the world is flat and that the sun revolved around us.

hay friend these things happen for a reason, every thing has a purpose.. these happenings to the insects .... fish....opctopus...birds.... all dropping dead in numbers.. is deffo conected to the wobble of the planet... the reason this planet and every other planet in our solar system, (including strange solar flares) from our star.. all for the same reason...the appearence of nibiru....the 10th planet...its been in deep space for over 6500..years...

Yep... try explaining your concept of 'normal' and 'coinicidence' to the people of Honshu. Actually - lets put some perspective to these numbers....

Calculating the amount of time involved in the events occuring in Honshu shown in the above chart, then multiplying that with the combined magnitudes of each registered quake... how much energy has been released at this one tiny spot on Earth, in comparion to the amount of energy released by the atomic weapon that devestated Nagasaki durring WWII?

In February I looked into Elenin's orbit for March. It looked to me to be in Perfect alignment with us and the sun on March 11th. Others were saying it was somewhere between the 12-15th, Anyway, we won't ever know what triggered the quakes. I personally made a mental note of the 3/11, and so all I can say is wow, quite amazing or quite a coincidence.

One of the first laws of The scientific method is observation - which many of these debunkers can not even fathom. From observations evolve theories - to deny an observation (as so many of them do) is counter productive to their cause. This leads me to believe the people involved are either writing their nonsense for personal reasons - or they are just trolling threads trying to derail them.

Well spotted about that Volcano spewing after the EQ in Japan............ everyone else on this thread are so interested with their EGO's of who is right and who is wrong that they FORGOT what the thread is about, which is an increase in the volcanic activity after the Massive EQ..........

I take offense to that mate and others such as myself have taken offense to weedwhackers callous attitude at this time of desperation for so many people .
People are concerned about what could happen next closer to home its nothing to do with ego .

Well I thank you for trying, thing is though, CME's, earthquakes and the like have always happened.

Mass bird die offs do too, they just didn't get the coverage that they did recently, also the majority of birds that died weren't migratory, therefore don't use magnetic lines for navigation.

Speaking of which, the magnetic pole, as I said earlier can move around up to 80 kilometres in a single day, the current movement towards Siberia has moved 40 kilometres in 10 years.

You see why it's really a non issue?

All the "Experts" on ATS who know the "truth" must put everyone down that goes against their "truth." Opinionated people drive me crazy. Thanks you to all the people who ask their questions and throw out their beliefs and theories no matter how "insane" they might be.
Surely things can be taken one event at a time and be explained. Earthquakes happen around Japan's subduction zone. Mass fish kills happen due to things like oxygen deprivation. Solar flares are a common occurence from our star.
Over 30 earthquakes occuring with supposed "after shocks," more like after quakes, around a fairly controversial date here on ATS could rise some suspicion. Mass fish and bird kills, not 20 mind you, happen. However, there have been a abnormally large amount of them all over the globe in the last 3 months. The sun is reaching a solar maximum and has had 2 X-flares when one hasnt been recorded in 4 years. Solar flares are almost occuring daily. There has been 1 day without a sunspot facing earth so far this year. You put all these things together and there does seem to be something unusual going on on our planet. People realizing this, and speculating what the possibilities could be, does not make them fear mongers, but people with real concerns for their, and their families well being. If something major is coming I would hope that everyone would be prepared and fight for survival. Not just accept their fates as some would have them do.
Please, opinionated people stay out of threads that involve people speculating and asking questions. If you disagree and want to update people to the "truth present your information and use it to pursuade people to your opinion with patience and courtesy. Do not put people down for their beliefs, questions and speculation.

Just had a look at the Pacific Northwest page refered to in the OP's opening post & at the time of this post it would seem all the readouts have stopped recording. Is this normal or are we being locked out of the potentially scary data?
