No biggie you say.. You're right, it's huge!! A long line of numbers like that can not be a coincidence...

The important questions as I see them are:

Why are these particular numbers used in the film when they don't point to the Devil's Tower. Maybe this was a mistake made during filming or maybe it was deliberate. This is probably something we'll never know.

Is it possible to 'Google Bomb' Google Earth? If it's possible then the volume of people repeating these claims across the internet will probably explain this quirk now, but how did it get started?

What does Google Earth do with the misformatted co-ordinates? How come the numbers without the apostrophe goes to the farm and with them to DIA?

Certainly intriguing, and I don't think I'll be flying into DIA any time soon.

I just flew through Denver, and boy are my arms tired. Seriously though, that is one weird airport.

Does anyone know what the music clips that play on the tram are? They have at least 4 different riffs - one sounds like Southern Rock, one sounds vaguely like Ray Charles blues piano, one sounds vaguely like Johnny Cash guitar picking.... and each one is so short that it sounded familiar but I couldn't name the tune.

Are they all songs about Denver? Some kind of coded message... about Denver? Can anyone clue me in?

I can't hear any music, but boy that train gets up and zooms.

Excellent research!

In that last video, you can hear one of the clips, a little honky-tonk riff around 0:29. They are really short little riffs, but it's off that they have more than four different ones, and they all have somewhat dischordant harmonies. They're all a little jarring. I wonder if they are intentionally jarring to help people remember to exit the car... or start tram brawls.

Oh man, and that last video in your first post is just beautiful! I hope I didn't get your hopes up that there would be great musicallity - it's just very short little riffs. In that video, you can hear a few of the different riffs around 0:33 1:52 2:21 3:09 and 3:33. They are really short, but I'm used to the NYC subway where there's just one "doors opening", "doors closing" bing-bong chime.

It's cute that Denver has more than one riff, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out any pattern, and they seem to span different musical styles. I think it's the one at 3:33 that sounds vaguely Johnny Cash-like.

i've seen the movie long time ago and didn't pay any attention and didn't quite experienced any good feeling about it, but couple days ago after reading this thread was browsing channels on tv and noticed this: "Human Processing Center, Denver" - it was clearly showed on the screen for a couple seconds at one point of the movie....

what does that mean? does that fit in a whole picture? is that a "hint" of some sort?

Obviously Travolta is a pilot, but I'm pretty sure L Ron Hubbard's Cult members have a sophisticated compound in Arizona (I think?) or Nevada..

Note about the coordinates in the movie Close Encounters:

Aliens and humans meeting at special location: Devils Tower, Wyoming.

Coordinates: the longitude is 104:44:30 and the latitude is 40:36:10 www.moviemistakes.com...
but as you can read is this not the place of the Devils Tower, Wyoming.

Why this error? Is somthing speciel about the location? Or it is a location of something special?? Here is my answer:

I don't see a correlation with atomic test sites, however we can probably agree that if aliens were here watching us, they would be most interested in our uses of atomic power.

In fact, there are many, many reports of UFO's around nuclear missile sites, sometimes rendering the weapons temporarily inactive.

If you see the first picture in my post.. If you remember in the movie that the mothership is rising behind the devils tower and forms a toadstool before it turns.. and also in the film there are an rumble like a nuclear blast hear from a distance when it is rising. And also when it comes on top it light up.

Well, the Illuminati/elites have infiltrated nearly every aspect of our way of life, including the film industry. They leave signs and messages everywhere. They hide in plain sight. I read this years ago, and expect many here will already be familiar with it, so I'm not going to spend time looking for links (my lap-top's jigged and I can spend 15 min's re-entering the page I want to find, while it takes me instead to flipping Ebay, porno sites and all over the place instead). So, one excercise that allegedly was part of the Montauk experiments was to send a number of boys on a time-travel trip. Each one was confined, and interrogated as to their sightings. I'm suspecting this was to verify the authenticity of what they reported, and to test the accuracy of their control in pinpointing where/when to send the participants. The only fact know about all the results, is that each boy, on his return, described having seen a large statue of a horse.

I think that's what the DIA horse is a reference to, or possibly that the horse itself is the one they witnessed, prior to its being erected there.

Also, if WW et al had simply made their points about the co-ordinate controversy, then left people to evaluate and draw their own conclusions, as opposed to trying to force it down people's throats incessantly, I would think they were just interested contributors.

The general idea of the coords is that they are meant to be for DIA. If you type in W104 44 30 N40 36 10 into a Google search bar, every link that pops up is about DIA. Not Ft Collins, not a random road, but DIA. So what if he is a couple of miles off, cry more.
