Always the religious nuts are the most hypocritical and judgemental.

So just because we don't have Jesus in our hearts we are going to hell? Ha funny. I have Christ in my last name does that save me any?

Give your holy than thou crap a rest.

Your god or jesus or whomever you believe in would not appreciate you judging others on their beliefs since doesn't he say not to judge others?

Also if 90% are going to hell then I say PARTY ON!

Oh you're completely screwed mate
That's like a triple-whammy!

I am reminded of a quote from one of my all-time favorite movies "Serenity".....

If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater. — Shepherd Book

How often do you pine for people's opinions by starting out with a threat?
It seems you are looking for a flame war despite your protests to the contrary

It wasn't meant for a threat, it was just meant to get an emotional and truthful response on people's beliefs...

Well if I am going to hell at least I will be able to find a good lawyer.
Might even leave hell with a cash settlement.

A beautiful post as far as I'm concerned. It makes me happy that you are not ashamed at the life you live. Many people would keep these things in the dark. Everyone should be so honest. I don't think there is any hell in store for you, only ignorant people would say different.

What happens to people in tribes on deserted islands, that have no hope of hearing of Jesus? If the answer is, 'they didn't have a chance to know Him, so they're going to heaven', then why do missionaries want to go to these places and give them the chance to reject christ and go to hell?

Now THAT is an interesting question. I will be bringing that one up in my future discussions / debates.

Haha! Yea and all the fun will be in hell if 90% of the population is going there. Means we wont have people teling us how much a sinner we are..lol Heaven seems very boring by the OPs standards.

I'm not your judge.

So you honestly don't think saying that 90% of us are going to hell is judging in any way?

NOTE!!! this is based off of statistics

I'm pretty sure no statistics exist that can back up what you claim.

not my personal belief

I agree. Once you can admit it's your church's belief and that you have clearly been brainwashed, then you can truly move on to expand your spirituality. I believe its never too late for a mislead person such as yourself to change your current "beliefs" and replace them with your own logical, loving, and non-condemning values.

If I happen to be wrong and you truly wish to stay in denial, there is only one thing I can say:

False knowledge is more dangerous than ignorance.

I wonder if hell has facebook and twitter. We can then revolt against Satan and have a democracy.

I would prefer to spend an eternity in an imaginary hell with 90% of my friends, than an eternity in an imaginary heaven with only 10% of them.

Well isn't that a nice a comment. There is truth to what I wrote, however it was meant to add a little comical relief(and rub some religious fanatics the wrong way
). If there is a 'hell' then everyone should remember

'the road to hell is paved with good intentions'

can you please elaborate on your statement that there is this evolution of consciousness (I assume you don't refer to this as being part of overall human evolution, that expresses itself for example in features like feminisation of the body)?
What makes you think this evolution is a fact, as you present it?
What is the direction of this evolution?

ah, here are the quotes from Da Book! Did it ever appeal that this is written by people for these people's interest?
Quoting from it in order to make statements about reality is as useful as quoting from snow white.

You don't need to stop living in sin to be saved. Only a hypocrite would teach such a thing. Who can stop sinning? How much sin do you have to give up to be saved? Can anyone give up all their sins... sinful bad habits included? Even Jesus asked in John chapter 8, who is without sin among you? Salvation is not about us giving up our sins to be saved. Salvation is about us admitting that we are guilty, hell-deserving, sinners and therefore need a Savior to redeem us. Jesus has the nail-scarred hands and feet. Jesus is that Savior.

Which version of the Bible would that be? Pre or Post-Constantine? What about the gnostic texts? Why were they omitted? Doesn't it say somewhere in the Bible that it is forbidden to alter it? And yet from what I've seen it's been completely butchered.

Lets not also forget to mention the Bible is derived from the texts of older religions. Copycat much?

I love your sense for the absurd. Why should someone have to hope to an imaginary friend s/he's right if s/he doesn't give a damn about the book nor its main character, that little revengeful guy promoting the interests of a small fraction of the world's population, those residing somewhere in a desert?

Wouldn't it be great if we manage to change the educational system in such a way that it leaves us with an emotional state that allows us to deal with the stuff we don't know (yet) or understand (yet) instead of allowing us to drift away in false comfort?

Isn't our ability to bullsh*t ourselves among the best developed human features?
I love human beans.

The question is. Do you believe that the Bible is God's Word?. By the way, the King James Bible is the only reliable English Bible that hasn't been corrupted by Satan.
