My point of view is that this forum is not for those suffering from religious delusion to view this place as an opportunity to preach. Take your religious threats and human sacrifice religion somewhere else.

If any God would send me to hell, simply because I failed to bow to an individual, of whom there is as good as no proof verifying they ever even existed, then so be it. If god would send a person to hell, who has lived a good life, and not a priest, who was a paedophile, or a serial killer, who ruined many lives, purely because they repented, then so be it. God's treatment of Job alone makes me feel my decision is justified in never bowing to this individual. The whole system seems totally perverse to me, in that you are judged on your obedience, when God supposedly gave us free will. Surely there should be a better way of judging who deserves a "good" afterlife- the way it's set up just seems entirely geared towards instilling a dogma through fear.

I am not disputing whether or not the bible is real, however, I will not be ruled by fear, and anyone who lives their life a set way, purely because they are scared of going to hell afterwards, is missing the point, in my eyes- surely there can't be a more selfish motive than that, but does the motive for one's actions matter, or is the action its self that matters? Another topic entirely, I realise!

frankly if i'm going to hell for not colaborating with these sick 'words that can't and shouldn't be said here' who bomb countrys for oil and peices of shiny stone then bring on the fun.

For me, hell is being forced to spend time with people bringing in imaginary friends to support whatever bullsh°t it is they want to spread.

What about those who have never heard of Jesus, or Christianity for that matter? Do they go to Hell too? Cause that would be kind of sucky wouldn't you think?

And did you know that people of other religions think the same about you and all Christians? They seem pretty convinced they are right, just like you seem to be. So who is actually right huh?

I see it this way: For something/one like 'God' to sit up there and demand people serve him he must be a pretty narcissistic fellow, as well as being a complete psychopath for wanting to condemn 90% of the worlds population to a fiery eternity of pain and torture just because they don't believe in him (including those who have never heard of him).

'God' does not strike me as a very nice bloke to be honest, more like the kind of man you warn your kids away from.

What happens to all of the people born before Jesus was born?

What happens to people in tribes on deserted islands, that have no hope of hearing of Jesus? If the answer is, 'they didn't have a chance to know Him, so they're going to heaven', then why do missionaries want to go to these places and give them the chance to reject christ and go to hell?

What happens to Jews and the other 50 religions people were brainwashed into as children, as you were into christianity? They all think they're right, just as you do. What makes you think that you're the chosen ones?

What if the way to salvation and enlightenment, is through yourself? Maybe devoting your time & energy to praying to someone who may or may not be listening is a distraction, maybe you need to meditate and work on yourself?

People can be good and moral without the threat of hell. Personally, there has been too much bloodshed involved in christianity's history for me to feel right about believing in it. Seriously, throughout history, no doubt, christians have Nazis beat.

There is a coming evolution in consciousness, however, I am afraid that people with this sentiment will have a hard time making it, if they make it at all.

Then heaven will be full of weak minded, gullible people.

If a person doesn't do something due to the fact that they feel it's wrong and another person doesn't do it because he or she knows they will get into trouble for it. Who is the better person?

If there is a god, then we are given intelligence and the ability to learn from facts. Treating beliefs as fact seems to me like it's a sin against our creator.
