If you base it on per capita the US are not accepting more imigrants than allmost any compareable western country... And I hope that's where you want to put the benchmark.

Why did you get so many stars for that stupid reply? I guess the American ignorance shows blatantly. The average worker has probebly the same or a bit more money then the average us worker, but contrary to the US when we get seriously ill we pay max 1000euro's when you can immediatly go broke and in huge debt which your family has to pay for all just because your afraid of socialism a word raped by Americans of its true meaning.

Look at central europe, rich Americans have a good life in your country because of the protection and low taxes but you forget that America is more and more pour, you'r middle class wil be destroyed. And the only thing left will be rage and an empty belly, while the small minority rests comfortable on top of the dead bodies.

To the OP. I noticed you are basing some of your comparison on vacation time. I can’t see how any country can beat the US when it comes to vactions. We just finished paying 8 million people billions of dollars to do nothing for two years through unemployment benefits. I’d like to see the rest of the world try and beat that.

I have a 4 year degree in IT Management. I work as a technology contractor for a Fortune 100 company. I don't get any paid holidays, paid vacation or sick time. Even when I have off for holidays, I still have to make the hours back up if I want to get paid.

I've worked 40 hours a week, every single week in 2010.

Other losers keep saying: "America is the greatest country on earth". What is your basis for saying that? Look up average american life span vs. european. Look up the healthcare situation vs. Canada, Europe and other civilized countries. America is right below.......Slovenia.........in terms of healthcare.

Don't you think that OUR greatest country on earth should give us the most basic right as humans? And that is the right to live a healthy life. See how good your employer will treat you if you come down with a major illness. See how your mortgage company will treat you if you fall ill.

In this country you are good until you don't have the physical strength to go work. Once you are not physically fit to work your greatest country on earth will kick you in the rear end and say goodbye.
