Yeah, you're right. Nothing to see here, move along.
On a lighter note, you gotta love how main stream media is the same the World over.....

"Bank lending rates fall for 2nd month"
"Foreign non-life insurers' H1 earnings jump"
("Oh & some peeps just got blowed up in an international military standoff")

Keepin it real for the people that matter!

I have just one question... how is it possible that the U.S. Command is not considering the odds right now. What do the North Koreans have? Submarines. Plenty of submarines. Around 60+. And the U.S. is sending 1 aircraft carrier along with 4 escort ships into Korean waters (Presumably 4 destroyers, or 3 destroyers & 1 cruiser, or 2 destroyers & 2 cruisers). So my question is... what the U.S. Naval Command really thinking?

If the North Koreans wants to make a war, which seems it's in their best interest, right now the U.S. Command is sent one slightly defended carrier group into the war zone, right in front of the torpedo tubes of countless enemy submarines.

I'm not that good with numbers, but if the NK is sending out just 40% of their subs, the U.S. can say bye-bye to the George Washington as nothing will be able to defend it from that overwhelming submarine force (Destroyers are outnumbered and the onboard helos are also insufficient to protect the CVN against this force if they're going to face with it.).

Not really....Fox and CNN have the war games as secondary and even tertiary headlines. And even then its just about the exercises nothing about any new shelling.

I think it is a huge media cluster-mess. right now.

Good lord. At least read it before you try and dispute it.

People on a South Korean island shelled on Tuesday by North Korea have been ordered to evacuate the area and shelter in bunkers.

North Korea has also deployed missiles near its disputed border with the South, the Yonhap news agency reported.

It comes as the South and the United States begin four days of joint military exercises in the waters off the Korean west coast.

North Korea has condemned the exercises as a provocation.

Artillery fire has been heard near Yeonpyeong Island, which was shelled by the North on Tuesday. Four South Koreans - two marines and two civilians - were killed.

They are covering what??? I have been on there.

Yes NK has deployed missiles BUT HAS NOT FIRED THEM AS YOU GUYS ARE SAYING.

And NO SHELLING on Y-Island has been confirmed. So you tell me.

You guys are posting links to headlines for which there is no article. Come on...not everyone on here is 14. You have to do better than that!!

You are just dying to try and prove someone wrong....unfortunately, you are the one passng incorrect info. Even the BBC and CNN are covering it now.

Get over it.

You arn't even bothering to read. I am the one who pointed out that deploying was not the same as firing. The Op admitted his mistake.

There are reputable KOREAN news outlets reporting that artillery has been HEARD. The BBC and CNN are covering the same exact information.

YOU are the one who said there was no live firing in the SK/US exercise, which is, as you would probably jump to label it, disinformation.

please leave this thread if you are only here to deflect and attack

I just edited my OP to reflect my mistake. I thought Jesus was supposed to forgive? Can we block users on here?

Exactly right.

Very little's going on, but some creepy 'WW3' mentalists are posting the same alarmist nonsense on here and various other forums. Cringeworthy stuff.

4 people are dead and one country is encroaching on the others border while doing a live fire exercise involving the largest military power on earth. N korea is also arming up their border and promising more shells if the drills dont stop.

nothing to see here people move along...

english.yonhapnews.co.kr...

SEOUL, Nov. 28 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's military ordered civilians on Yeonpyeong Island to evacuate to shelters, military officials here said Sunday, as signs of North Korea's artillery firing were spotted. "The emergency evacuation order was issued as of 11:18 a.m.," a military official at the South's Joint Chiefs of Staff said. "The military was also put on high alert." Signs of North Korean provocations were spotted as sounds of artillery fire were heard, the official said.

Sorry this info wasn't posted to the article when I posted my reply, perhaps this clears things up a bit for prince of peace.

You obviously dont read much either. I bolded the statement for you in the quote from BBC. It says, same as everyone else here has been saying, that the sounds of artillery have been HEARD. There are multiple other sources linked on here which state the same.

Seriously, admit your mistake and move on. You are embarrassing yourself.

The North dose not want war. They want Kim JR to look competent. In a few days the drills will be over, and the North will proclaim junior was victorious in defeating the mighty US. Sending them away in defeat.

In the mean time they will set off charges and artillery blanks as a show for the NK people. They have everything to loose and know it. Regime change propaganda. False Flag for the NK

Looks like North Korea fired at the ocean again... As we would have heard about it by now if they attacked any South Korean, US entity.
Damn it, WW3 better start soon or I am going to pop a blood vessel or two.
It's like some annoying ADD child has you tied down and is coming at you with a car from a mile or two down the road, and then keeps stopping to smell the roses or stretch his legs randomly every 50 - 700 feet...

It's like run me over already you cracked out little bastard!
