Witnesses Watched Person Freefall From the Sky

www.nbcphiladelphia.com

Two of Hale's co-workers at Shore Veterinarians in Egg Harbor Township say that they also watched from their office windows as a human fell head-first from the sky.

"I [saw] the guy falling, at an angle, like this," Hale told NBC Philadelphia while gesturing. "Straight down. No parachute. No paraglider."

This is just freaky. I can't even imagine seeing something like this occur. Evidently three people did. Surely evidence would show up sooner or later. I just hope they didn't see an actual person, but instead something akin to a "weather balloon."

The woman looks terrified recalling what she witnessed.

Anyone from ATS and living in NJ hear of this?

peace

Very interesting! Maybe they should check flight logs and see who was flying over that area at the time. And then check missing persons reports.

Holy smokes! That poor person and the poor people who had to witness it!

I have heard about cases of people that stowed away in the landing gear of planes falling out when the landing gear is deployed. I wonder if this is near the airport in Philly.

I know if I saw a person falling like that my first instinct would be to look for the falling aircraft that would be right behind them. Noone in this article mentions looking for an airplane that I saw. Something smells fishy here.

Exactly, checking flight logs would have been the first thing to do, but then you're dealing with a bueracracy. And under normal circumstances I would be encouraged the Coast Guard was involved in the search, and I do have a ton of respect for that organization, but after the mess they made of things in the Gulf, I'm not so sure. I'm just saying...

Still, if this is true, it's absolutely terrifying.

I don't think it was ever mentioned if anyone saw where he landed or if a body was found. Yeah, I read the article but I have the memory capacity of a gnat
If that is the case, that makes it even stranger.

Sounds like a case of teleportation gone wrong. I suppose there's always the possibility that when one is spacetime jumping from one place to another bad aim could put you in the sky or in the water, or even underground. Although, the natural human tendency to visualize themselves close to the ground would make that a rarity. Visualization of a target leads to perception, projection, and then translation.

But who knows the strange twists and turns a virtual jump path might take?

It is certainly interesting (if perhaps a bit morbid). A genuine mystery.

No body discovered - but some convincing eyewitness accounts.

If a body is found, would they have any way of finding out how they met their unusual and unfortunate death? I suppose they could trace their activities if they found some I.D.

How in a somewhat urban area could a body not be found if witnesses saw it fall?

I agree that something sounds hoaxy/misinterpreted.

U.F.M. (Unidentified Falling Man). This is certainly a new one. I wonder if it's entirely possible that what they saw was in fact a bird of prey diving to catch some prey, and the witnesses saw it wrong. That's my guess. It would be pretty easy to find a dead body in that forest area - didn't look to thick.

If that was a human, they would have found the body.

It's not so urban, very suburban and country right in that spot, with quite a bit of new construction.
I moved from Egg Harbor Twp last September, and I'm very familiar with the area.
The airport is right there, probably a mile at most, as the crow flies. The runways are very long, it was an airport that could accommodate the Concorde, if there was a problem in New York. Also Air National Guard there.
The Great Egg Harbor River and Bay are also very near, and between that vet clinic and the airport is the Garden State Parkway and A.C. Expy.
Lots of fences and unoccupied space.

How can three people see a human body falling from the sky, even describe it as being head first, see where it was heading, but not find a body?

Very strange.

Normally, when someone is taken for their 'last flight' aboard a chopper or light aircraft, they are usually kicked out of the door over the sea or a large body of water aren't they, maybe this was as has been said, a stowaway, falling from the landing gear wells.

Could be a mob hit, by as i say, they would normally drop the victim over water.

perhaps he was in a plane when he teleported. Thus appearing in the air. rough.

I was wondering about the building, perhaps he jumped - not finding a body is strange!

I wonder if this is at all related to this...I know it is a stretch, but it got me thinking

It would seem evident that the body of the fallen man would not be recognizable after falling from the sky.

The head would probably burst and the bones in the body would be crumpled and broken.

If it was a hit you can bet there would be no traceable flight plans.

I think I should point out that there is quite a bit of organized crime in the area. There is a lot of newer Russian Mafia, and traditional Italian Mob, as well as Camden/Trenton gangs living and 'working' in the area.
This spot is about 15 minutes from downtown Atlantic City, so there are lots of reasons for people falling from the sky.
I was a casino dealer for about 20 years, and I can tell you, you don't hear about most of the people who jump off the buildings. We saw and got to know many who "rolled a hard eight".
Maybe this guy was more creative than others, or maybe they caught him leaving town without saying goodbye, so to speak.
