This is probably very simple but i cant seem to do it.

I am trying to line up my background image with my avatar so that i got a repeating same repeating image.

now what i am having trouble is the getting the sides of the background image to perfectly line up with avatar so that it looks like one image. take a look to the left and you will see what i mean

the image i am using is:
www.otakuink.org...

if someone could help me out on this i would be very gratefull.

please upload the image, then i can remove the defects in the image(page fold) and us it.

I (and others) make my images as a background and I make it 165x1500 (for long posts).
I then use a transparent avatar for a spacer. If you need the spacer, you can use this: files.abovetopsecret.com...

If you are just trying to make the image repeat in your profile install it not as an avatar but as a background image. Then create a 320 pixel tall transparent gif image and use it as an avatar...this will space your profile text...

Think ive done it.
using this files.abovetopsecret.com...

as my avatar, wich is invisible. making my background image visable through it.

i wanted it like this becase i wanted an avatar wich touched the sides of the frame, but didnt have writing over it.
