Monsanto has to be one of the most evil, murderous groups of psycohaths on this plant, surpassed only by those who are leading of this insane plot to murder humanity.

No, you won't. Americans and Westerners in general are too lazy and lethargic to do anything about it, and in the first case, the people have to REALIZE that their rights are being intruded on and stomped all over, and most people just don't give a damn, or even know or care what their rights are to begin with.

Americans, and Westerners in General, are too lazy to get up off the couch and protest ANYTHING.

I was chatting with a customer this afternoon, who said that she moved from the USA to Canada. All of her American friends didn't believe her when she told them that the news was HEAVILY censored in the USA. She said when she came to Canada, she had a bit of an epiphany as to what is going on, as while the news is still censored in Canada, it is a bit more free than in the USA to report what's really going on.

She's a registered Republican, and she said that until she had seen the Canadian news, she didn't realize what a goofball Sarah Palin was, or that the Republicans had such lack of leadership. She's finally watching news coverage that isn't heavily biased in favor of one American party or another.

She's woken up to the true reality of the USA. All it took was her moving to Canada to see the light!

Well what are they waiting for?

Could the ultimate goal here be, that no seed or produce will be bought or sold that isn't GMO so a corporation can have a patent on it?
That's how drug companies work afterall. If you don't have exclusivity of an item, it's not worth producing. When the patent expires, the newly modified seed is introduced.

This is very interesting.

so the way I see it is everyone grow tomatoes and vegetables even if you only grow them as ornamental plants

everyone everywhere they've gone insane, we'd have to crazy to go along with this

The bill sounds like it would be illegal to have grass, shrubs and bushes , trees for that matter. Well I meant how is it different than what already is? I heard about the version of this from last year but never looked closely enough at that one to see how real it was supposed to be.

I looked at your other thread but I fail to see what exactly is supposed to lay down the law here.

But again, if there is a story here it needs to be laid out and heard far and wide.

Ya! I was thiing of that too after the post! Just imagine, the day when using water fitlers will be illegal! of all things...looks like brita and PUR wil be going under when that happens* unless the government allows us to use carbon fitlers, reverse osmosis, buying up stocks in those 2 companys*

Not sure I see a widespread conspiracy to take away our ability to grow food on our own property in this bill. Even if it were there, would be impossible to enforce. Now I do see some stiffer regulations in regards to local farmer's markets that I find reprehensible. I say let us make our own decisions on what is/is not safe for consumption. "Don't tread on me"

I cant remember what state it was in but, some schools started using fresh unprocessed foods in their cafeterias and banned soda pop , they found out the kids got healthy real fast and that their IQ even went up, and they also lost weight, so no one can tell me that food doesnt make a difference...
Like another poster said, I will go down fighting with my watering can and my shovel !!!!

I don't see how a bill like this will help in anyway. It's just more regulation and less freedom. This attacks a basic human need. Government has no right to control basic needs. Support and encourage yes, but control, NO!
