I hope if it pertains to the US government, they release it before the November elections.

It would be nice to have a big national flood of information that might make it feasible to vote the two main parties out and some third party in to buy ourselves some time.

It seems to me there is an accelerated push to get their agenda through before the people wake up enough to stop it.

Manning claimed to have leaked 260,000 documents.

One of which, was a video whose thrust was very ideologically similar to these 90,000 documents.

Why is it so hard to believe that he wasnt lying when he said he did leak that many? It seems pretty obvious to me, that the most likely source of these leaks in that large a quantity, was Manning. The topic fits. The quantity fits, and the time frame fits.

(They had to have time to work through 90k documents)

Wikileaks is being coy about who because they have to, to honor their pledge to try to protect the leaker. We can speculate it was Manning all we like, but Wikileaks is trying to make it hard for the government to prove it in a court of law, for Mannings sake.

i would leak a million files if i had access
i would risk life in prison to expose war crimes
i would even think of breaking the law of my country
i would hope if i did this people would follow my example

i think this will open the door to the good people who are in a position to make real change by wistle blowing

I would weigh and consider anything I did first, because the path to hell is often paved with good intentions. I am not a knee jerk kinda person.

However, if I were convinced that I were indeed in a position to make a significant difference by doing something that might endanger me, I would. I am already a corpse walking. We all are. Our death is guaranteed, not optional, and how you live matters, deeply, though not everyone knows it.

Not all youtube videos can be posted here at ATS. It depends on whether the video poster allowed the ability for the video to be embedded elsewhere or not.

It might be better to start a thread about that, rather than just post random one liners with broken links all over this one, dont you think? You might actually attract someone who knows why if you title a thread about it.

Or you might draw attention to some deeper conspiracy underlying the broken links if you make a thread title that lets people know what you are up to.

i agree totally with your post

when war crimes are in another country its not ok but people dont feel the effect to their lives so it dosent effect them

if America was invaded i would sign up to defend your freedom
i would fight and die for you

but i would still leak any war crimes if i had access

The docs only go to a certain date cause the newer stuff could actualy do harm . You know locations where troops are NOW..
