[NEW PICS!] China airport UFO was no helicopter!!

Some well-respected ATS members immediately discounted China's airport UFO as a helicopter and dozens of people hopped on board, worshipping the oh-so-never-wrong members.

It was clearly NOT a helicopter in my opinion since it's a long continuous object with portal-type lights but it's not worth getting into a big I'm right/you're wrong argument over one picture. But, now we have more!


I know some people will say most helicopters make gigantic plumes of light in the sky but I beg to differ!

There have been reports from all over China and this UFO craft deserves a second thread not dominated with the "it's a helicopter" agenda.

Also as an added bonus - the IDIOTS at CNN chose to use a fake UFO picture in their CNN China edition, rather than the actual photo of the object... apparently their agenda of "truth" doesn't stop at country lines.

Interesting pics, looks as if it's sunrise/sunset and the rays from the sun are lighting up vapour released from whatever-the-hell it is.

People who explain it as helicopters or a missile make us look intelligent. They sound so silly with their debunker ideas. They almost sound as silly as teabaggers.

Calligraphic Chinese is read top down, right left. Simplified is from left to right. TV would use simplified.

I do think that that picture (from the original thread) is a picture of a helicopter. I do not think that picture is the same object which closed down the airport. I think that picture and the airport incident are totally unrelated.

When I mentioned that in the early part of the other thread, some people jumped on me saying 'that's silly, you think a helicopter shut down the airport?!' but they didn't read my response properly.

I actually thought that picture was confirmed to be unrelated to whatever shut down the airport. Admittedly, I didn;t read more than about 12 pages of that first thread.

So, to recap, I think that picture is definitely a picture of a helicopter, it is so similar to other pictures confirmed to be helicopters (and some of those confirmed helicopter pics are in the video posted by Paradigm2012), but I think it definitely wasn't a helicopter which shut down the airport.

I googled "UFO China airport" and got dozens of hits with many of them stating 1000s of witnesses saw this, the regional news agency reported it, the government and military got involved, and in the previous days there were various other anomolous events concerning glowing lights/crafts in the sky.

I've also noticed several reports that the object baffled Air Traffic Controllers as it zoomed in toward the airport.

Call it a helicopter if you like but that picture (lower of the two in the OP) is posted by Chinese media as the object that caused the airport to shut down...

According to the following Aussie article the two events were across the city from one another.

A CHINESE airport was dramatically shut down after baffled air traffic controllers spotted an incoming UFO on their radar systems.
Planes were grounded and flights were diverted away from Xiaoshan airport in Hangzhou City, in the country's east, after the mysterious glowing object appeared on monitoring instruments late Wednesday night, the Shanghai Daily reported.

In a further twist, the closure followed several supposed sightings of a strange airborne object across the city, with locals reportedly seeing a comet-like fireball in the sky.

Where has the image you've posted come from? Is there a source? The link you've posted is a site that's banned on ATS for very good hoaxy reasons.

Whatever the source of the image, it shows a bolide meteor or missile test. If it's genuinely related to the Chinese airport closure, I'd say it's a bolide.

The other image is a helicopter whether you like it or not. Whether it was at the airport, we can't know. Whether it relates to the closure of the airport or alleged UFO...we can't know!

The first image you posted has nothing to do with the closing of the airport.

I saw that thread as well and was disgusted in the lame attempts to debunk that 'thing' as a helicopter. THAT IS NOT A HELICOPTER.

Dont know what it is, but it definately is no helicopter.

EDIT-- SOMEONE PLEASE SHOW ME where they see a helicopter in that picture? Seriously.

Im no UFO fanatic, but Im not going to dismiss something just because some "genius" says it is something else. Im starting to wonder about some of the members on this site, seriously.
