Great job!! You caught everything I was asking about yesterday. I was seeing those HUGE bubbles all day....and the stuff (crystals?) building up on the camera lens....I think it's methane...what do you think?

Skandi 1 still showing occasional bubble leakage. That hydrocarbon buildup up looks blacker than ever. I would assume that means more oil coming out than the methane maybe. Also the spot it is at now, is not the same spot where the bubbles were first spotted on Skandi a few weeks ago. When it was first seen, there was pipes involved that went around the flanges. The spot we see now does not have that pipe/hose.

EDIT: the image below is where we saw the first bubbles. Notise the hose/pipe going along the outer rim of this flange assembly:

Ocean Intevention 2 is showing some seeping. It's been going pretty good at times for the past 5-10 minutes or so.

wow that does look a hell of a lot blacker. Isnt the official line that the cementing has been a success (and assuming that means it should also be set)? Seems there shouldnt be any leaks or activity at all if thats the case?

That was the impression I got from MSM...that all was just peachy...the cement was a success and the well was "plugged." That is not the case though. It is far from over. They still now need to do a "bottom kill." Uh what? Huh? It seems like every time they have "success" they come up with something else they have to do before success...'Bottom kill' will be final nail in coffin of plugged-up oil gusher in Gulf

so there is no oil coming up the pipe at all from the reservior thanks to static kill, and the relief wells are to get the remaining oil from the outer casing of the well. And it should all be over a week from today (possibly 8days).
I really, honestly would love to believe this. Just cant seem to, and getting harder to tell if its actual instinct saying it wont be over or if i've been fed so much bull from them all along that I automatically think the reverse of what they say is true (becuase it almost always is).

Lot of turbulence around around BOA2 btw..

The oil blobs coming out of the bop concern me. It makes me wonder if maybe a weld isn't good. Not sure how it was put together, so sorry if I sound like an idiot. Anywho, I wonder if they even tested to see if it could withstand the kind of pressure that it's under at the moment. Skandi rov 2 is showing it but you can't really see the bubbles very well, of course. The cam is tilted just so. You can still see them on the bottom right of the screen. Looks like they're coming out faster then I remember.

I don't know but from what I see.....there will be another boom soon. I noticed a crack forming along side that pipe....now stuff is coming out of it, and those wispy "clouds" are appearing on the other screen.....it always does that right before a lot of stuff starts happening.

Hey Dragon the 2 shots of the BOP...isn't the
top the initial side they had been showing from
the beginning...& maybe after the storm "Bonnie"
they started showing the the other side of the BOP
with the numbers on it?

could you see what part of the ground it was coming from?

It was more to the left side of the screen than it is now. There was a 'lot' of upwelling. Not entirely sure wth they have got going on.

I saw it.....i was watching skandi 2 most of all because it looks like clouds of something in that area... does it look odd to you?

EDit to add: so, i'm watching ocean int III: and it is VERY pixilated. Would that explain why the feed appears to be 'skipping' like a loop would?

Edited again to add: a second set of headlights has appeared, so i dont think its actually looped. But the low frames per second sure makes it look jumpy.

this spot the ocean int iii's are watching seems to be popular/important.

One of those sets of headlights is could maybe be BOA 2? And one is the other ocean int iii. But whats the third?
