Avatars: Why did you choose yours?

I created my avatar to reflect my handle and to compliment my signature line. If you look at all three, you will see that they are a symbiotic trio that explains why I am here in the first place and why I keep coming back.

i have had 3 different avatars now first was the reaper holding a angry pitbull on a log chain and the log chain beginning to snap the second was of a skeleton king with long hair sittin on a throne with 3 pitbulls sittin around him along with skulls and bones laying around now this one!

each one represents me through and through! the one now represents the fact that i have been ascending in my evolution to become a better human and better undserstanding of the universe i'am always ready to leanr something knew i never get tired of education which is funny b/c i thought i was to smart for school and didnt go to college

but anyway my belief is that most people just follow the "herd" and i dont as a matter of fact i tend to go the opposite way of the herd on purpose most of the time...as my peers dress either country, prepy, or wiggerish...i dress like a biker or someone from the 70's 80's!

but the main thing is my avatar must be me as my appearance must be me! if you cant tell its me just by the look of it i dont want nothin to do with it most of the time! like my tattoos! if its not me i'm not gettin it or dont have it!

My avatar is from the cover of The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, Pink Floyds first album.

Music is important to me. It's something to be experienced, it brings people together.

It's that rare thing that we can all agree on.

Aside from The Floyd being my favorite band, I guess that's what I'm saying with my avatar.

I picked a photo of the Iowa blasting the main guns for one reason only.

It's the biggest "muzzle flash" I could find.

And the idea I sought to convey with it was "I am bombarding the shores of my enemies with heavy artillery".

Metaphorically speaking of course.

I chose the one I did because it's a well-done picture of a pig in flight. I think it is both beautiful and cute. I like pigs and would love to have one someday.

I'm one of those that always looked to the stars - to go home.

I've always felt I came from some where else. Have never felt this is my true home.

That's me in my avatar looking through a porthole in space - - some where out there.

But - - am I looking in or am I looking out?

And it is realistic and believable!

This is what I get for not taking notes when I decided using this as my avatar.

All I can remember is that it was an opposition flag flown on ships some time long ago. Having something to do with freedom.

As my memory fades, so too does my freedom. Today I fly it high in opposition to the tyranny which befalls us all.

I love your avatar - I was going to mention it as one of my favorites in the OP. Now that's what you call muzzle flash!

I also like the running truck and the people running into the pit.
