Excellent post, and very true to the point.

What is evident is that there are two sets of rules in the U.S.. There is a set of rules for the citizens, and another for the immigrants, and by far the immigrants are getting the better deal. They have free healthcare, their job positions are defended through laws that supposedly fight discrimination (and the same goes for all minorities) while citizens who did not immigrate to the U.S. are given nothing back for their tax dollars.

You can't go into any third world country, and expect the same treatment. They discriminate against against people from the first world nations at every opportunity.

It is a complex picture, and there are good and bad on both sides, but for the ordinary citizen of the first world nations, it is a situation where you are getting screwed at every turn. Your rights are being trampled in favor of the rights of immigrants and minorities, while the elites remain elites.

Even a great many minorities see this situation. Some rejoice at their advantages, but many recognize that it is wrong. It is my observation that the Black population in the U.S. is also starting to see how the tables can be turned, as they are also finding their rights being given second consideration to immigrants.

I have been on job sites where all the workers were immigrants, and they were very biased, but not purely against whites, but against each other. The place was a patchwork of ethnic groups all working within their particular group and against each other. The management would be all whites, and they were happy to take advantage of this situation.

The government no longer represents the people, and they have established a system of special treatment works fine for those who have attained their positions of power, and that seems to be what they love.

What it comes down to is that each group is looking after their own, but the natives of the first world nations are being told that they should not do the same, It has gotten to the point to say enough is enough. It is time to stop the invasion, and throw out those refuse to respect the very rights that enabled first world nations to reach their advanced state.

I'm not sure what to say about the mosque, but imagine if this were done to a synagogue.

The way I see it, if the government allowed them to build it, then they had a right to build it. Anything else is mob rule. And mob rule leads to bad things.

After skipping 14 pages and seeing the arguing still going on, I cant be bothered to read through this thread. So I'll just comment on what I saw on page 1.

This is a DEMOCRACY. The people said no. That should have been the end of the matter. Our DEMOCRATIC RIGHTS have been taken away. If the Muslims want to live in our land, then they must abide by our laws and customs. Do you really think the reverse would happen in a muslim country?

So, this protest is justified in my opinion, regardless of who is doing it. There will always be people who abuse their position, and as a result will tarnish the reputation. Dont judge everyone by the deeds and actions of those people. Not everyone protesting is a racist thug. Some are doing it because they have been wronged by our corrupt government and are making a point.

I hope that this gets some real exposure and wakes people up to how screwed we are if we dont stand up for ourselves.

There are park areas around here where whites cant go.. There are even signs saying so...

If you can provide photgraphic evidence of these signs, that would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway...that was my point, that I haven't seen any positives to the increase in Muslim numbers. Other than the huge increase in numbers of Kebab shops - yum!

I think Indian/Oriental/Black immigrants over the years have added to our society and (for the most part) have managed to assimilate very well, especially considering the treatment they might have faced from some of the BNP-type knuckle-draggers. I don't recall any attempt by those immigrants to change the UK's system of law to their own, or any threats of violence against whites (other than by some black 'gangs' maybe but I don't count that as it's just stupid kids trying to act like hard men). Recent Muslim immigrants on the other hand seem determined not to assimilate, they appear to want nothing more than the total Islamisation of Britain. The thing I don't understand is how many of them have come here claiming to have been persecuted and say they want a better quality of life yet they want to turn the UK into another one of those oppressive Islamic states! It makes no sense to me. If they loved living under Sharia law so much then why come to a non-Sharia country?
That is what bothers me about the swell in Muslim numbers. Not the fact they have a different religion, or that their skin is a different colour. That doesn't bother me at all but I'm an Atheist and I have a big problem with ANY religion trying to tell me how to live my life and what to believe. I won't accept it from Christianity and I certainly will never allow it from Islam. If they come here and hate the way we live then why do they stay? Hmm...I wonder...

Hardly peaceful language, is it? I know that you can probably find quotes of a similar nature in the Bible etc. but only the Muslim faith actively encourages this kind of behaviour in the modern world. I'm not saying that ALL Muslims will strictly adhere to those beliefs but even if only a handful do then it can only lead to violence. Why encourage more of that sort of person to come and live in our peaceful country? I do not think it racist or bigoted to point this out, this is not borne of an irrational fear (i.e "den schmutzigen Juden") but out of the violent language of Islam itself and the actions of many of its followers.

I have a real problem with people like parallex. You brand everyone that doesn't share your opinion on this issue as racist! Its people like you who are the downfall of this country not the muslims.

Islam as a whole is not a religion but a system and quite a nasty one at that. I;m sure most British born muslims do not want sharia law.

I live in a very mixed area. Most are British, some are muslims, some are poles, some chinesse theres a bit of everything.

Peace now wouldn't that be a fine thing!

I completely agree. I really do wonder who is behind the EDL. What is the hidden agenda behind the EDL. Will there be a power battle at some stage for the heart of the EDL. I cannot believe that known racists from the BNP and known thugs are side by side with law abiding decent people. Are they truly against moslems or is it a code for non-whites that look Arabic in a similar way that "Inner city" has become a code-name for black.

i agree that this is more geo-political issue that is and will continue to, undermine the people in this country (whatever colour or religion) and shift the wealth and power into the hands of a few (which we are pretty **ing close to )

look at the commotion it has caused....if the local government denied it why did the powers that be overthrow that decision ?

theres not much we can do now, the ball is rolling, but it shows the tip of the iceberg for the kind blatant ignorance of the peoples will of best interest, especially as people have lived there for generations and help build the community that is dudley.

Plans to build an £18million mosque in Dudley town centre have been scrapped, the Express & Star can reveal today.

The scheme to build a mosque with 65ft minaret on derelict land in Hall Street attracted huge protests, but has now been ditched by the Dudley Muslim Association.
