Lovely, lovely video, and such beautiful, inspirational music! Does he have an album Silo? I could see myself listening to his music while I garden.....I have garden speakers...ahem!

Etna is fooling everyone. She's quiet and seemingly in a meditative (sedative?) state.
There was a 'bump' yesterday - but all is well at the moment.
We shall see!

Also, I never got an answer back from calling about the camera and it's upside-down position.

To answer your question 'Angel' yes Keith Webley has an album. And like you I 'use' his music when I'm gardening. Or at least I did, lol, until yesterday when I dropped my Ipod into a water bucket by accident. I'm devastated. Anyway, Mr. Medley built a 27 string guitar so he would be able to 'play the music that's in his head'... Unreal stuff. I'm so glad you like it!

Ah! The 27 string guitar....I saw something about that somewhere just recently! Now I know why his name sounded familiar...Get some garden speakers....mine look like rocks....that way you can still hear what else is going on around you in nature...they are also waterproof, naturally

Full Moon is upon us,we also have the start of the Perseid meteor shower....I wonder if Etna's 'pyramid' will make a return, and then will we get another 'tantrum'? Not that I am wishing anything bad to happen...just curious.

I've got batteries in the camera and am ready!

Also, interesting update. Etna snuck one in on us this morning.
She exploded some ash, did it very quietly and then went back to sleep.
If she wasn't a lady I'd say she 'passed gas' for real.
The vulcanologists on the television at noon said to 'Get ready for more' form her - of course they don't know when or how 'big' and episode but they're predicting 'more' in the immediate future.

However, as of 22.30 h on 11 August, the volcanic tremor recorded by the summit seismic stations of the INGV-Catania remained low. This is typical, and only once the tremor amplitude begins to rise significantly, chances increase that a new paroxysm will occur within the next few hours. Finally, once lava starts to overflow the rim of the crater, we can be certain that the new paroxysm is imminent. As long as we do not see the tremor amplitude rise and there is no lava overflow, Etna may still step back and delay the new paroxysm by hours, maybe a day, as happened on 8-9 and 30 July.

i know this is slightly ot, but it looks sooo beautiful and serene where you live. like the sounds of nature (etna) are all that exist. i'd love to meditate out there some day.
