Aww bless, very sweet of you all to back Slayer up. But as you will notice if you check back a little further I do infact state myself that Slayer oft submits many good submissions.

Perhaps I was wrong naming him a troll, not entirely accurate. I should have worded it as to say, he often attempts to shoot other peoples views or posts down with scant disregard. As has been the case here, going entirely off the subject of the original post and responding as if to claim people have generalized the entire American populace. Which is clearly not the case, the thread is discussing some Americans methods of debate whilst active on this board.

And as for the other guy quoting where I responded to a post saying I agree 1 point odd percent, perhaps I should have again been more precise. I meant with regards to a particular point of that post, being that certain issues are often ignored. As with this very thread, where the topic is being entirely ignored and taken as a generalization when the author makes it clear that is not the case.

It's nice to see people standing up for one another, but he's big and ugly enough to respond. Just hopefully he can this time do so in a manner which wont get his post removed. Which by the way, did that by anychance prove my point about the way in which he handles his responses?

In any event, you guys not seeing this thread for what it is just goes to show the authors point where SOME PEOPLE ARE CONCERNED. "The American way. The Right way. THE ONLY WAY!" in the vein in which the original post clearly defines.

And as for the chap posting that England has just as many, and has had for longer... Read the thread for christ sake, it's clear we all realize that.

There are better ways of doing things. That's evolution of man. If you miss it isn't that a bad thing? You won't see it in your media. Be thankful for the Net and places like ATS. We're international, many different ideas. Start looking. Start thinking.

I have seen a lot of people from other countries claim that "Americans are arrogant", and then they go on talking about how their own country is more superior, how they have "Socialized healthcare" and that is "civilized", which of course is nothing more than a red herring, etc, etc.

IMO those are the people who are arrogant, not to mention ignorant. I am not saying you are, but you are claiming and ask, and let me quote: "There are better ways of doing things. That's evolution of man. If you miss it isn't that a bad thing?"

So your way is the best way? I don't get it, you seem to be attacking "Americans" and then you do exactly what you claim "Americans" do.

"Socialized healthcare" in most of the world is going, if it is not already, bankrupt. Not to mention the fact that healthcare becomes "minimal care" and in fact many of the people who live in countries where there is "Socialized healthcare" have to take a plane, or a car and come to the U.S. to get the treatment, or operation, or even the drugs that they can't get in their countries.

There is no "perfect" country anywhere, but I have seen quite a few members from Europe, Canada, Oz, or whatever claim "Americans are arrogant, blind patriots" etc, and then like I said they do exactly what they accuse Americans of doing. I wonder why that is.

As for patriotism, sorry but I won't be accepting a "One World unified Order" or whatever else you want to call it. Countries should keep their sovereignty, and if you lose it you will lose your identity.

Patriotism is not a bad thing, and that is somehting else I have seen quite a few people in the forums, and elsewhere trying to attack, and these same people also claim "it is evolution to hav no boundaries, no flags, and for the best of all", just like so many other people claim about other things such about banning citizens from owning firearms, etc, etc.

IMO a lot of people are falling in for the New World Order plans without realizing it, and they make the argument of "it is evolution, and for the best of all".
