Watch out for volcanoes... 7.8 (Indonesia) in the ring of fire, as many of you are aware.

I was just going to post that we got a whole new view on Mila Cam, there are three cams there now. You can see trucks and snowmobiles, at least I did a few minutes ago. Way cool!

Wow, if you are here - Take a look at the cam. Awesome. Lava shooting out and being spread out all over the dome. It is dusk and perfect viewing. We have choppers, vehicles and folks pretty close - I hope they have suits on because it's going nuts

Hi There, yes, that is what erupting volcanoes do! :-) Although, this one is picking up steam so to speak and has over the past week or so.

I hear ya re all-nighters - I'm exhausted - thank goodness I work from home!

Fimmvorouhalsi has been great viewing today - amazing to see how much the cones and surrounding terrain has changed over time

The new cam (number 3) is a cool view too - from Valahnjúk eldgos.mila.is...

Watching the volcano show on Mila cams.. hoo boy!

Someone should fly over that lava cone and drop in a bunch of fireworks, heheh... that would be a show huh?

I watched two people walk up the road a little while ago, then I went to make some food and when I came back the clouds had come down, looks like zero visibility, hope they don't wander into the lava!

Yep, I am sorta concerned for those two people.. I mean, they were walking, not snowmobiling...and its really cloudy and dark on top there at the moment

Can you use the vodaphone site where you can go back through the cam shots to see if they came down while you were doing food?

I saw them about 11:15 my time, so it's been about a half an hour. It may not be so bad tho, they may be able to see, it might not be so thick at ground level.

I would not be worrying about it. That cam is zoomed so the effect is going to look much worse.

If you look at the other cams you can see that it is not actually that bad. As to walking into it I think the noise would alert them!! We may be sat here watching this in silence, but believe me it is not silent.

Well, Mt. Etna is belching. I read it on a new thread. Nothing really on news yet.

I gotta go on a 4 hour road trip, back later
